I wanted to make something metal

Girlfriend bought this goose and the neck wasn't supported on the way home.

Best ideas to fix it?

Patch with some sort of sticky cement slurry? Plaster? Any ideas welcome.

I want to make a crafty session focused on making itself, not on the result itself. Just for the purpose of fun. Do you have some inspiration for me? I already browsed Pinterest and googled but this sub always has so cool ideas I thought I can maybe ask here too :)

Hi! This is my first time messing around with shrink plastic so idk if this is the right sub for these questions( and if there’s a more better sub for this please feel free to suggest)! I have two questions:

1. Does anyone know how to get rid of this splotchiness on the shiny side after it’s done baking? Ive tried slightly varying temps and cook time, parchment paper vs foil, and flattening with a foil covered spatula after cooking and I can’t get rid of this issue. Idk how well it comes across in the pictures, but it always comes out with some parts smooth and shiny and other parts rough and foggy.
2. Does anyone know any good finishing alternatives to UV resin that don’t yellow super quickly? I’ve tried applying a thin coat of mod podge and then polyurethane on top but I’ve had some trouble with the colors bleeding and not getting the nice doming effect. I might just give in and try resin if I can’t find a good substitute but I really don’t want to deal with all the PPE and ventilation stuff if I can avoid it lol

(btw I used prismacolor colored pencils if that affects anything!) and any help is greatly appreciated <3

Okay, trying again. Here's all the arting I done over the past week. I am hoping this post will be suitable.

I've been thinking about getting some sections of hair dyed for a fun peekaboo splash of color, but if I'm being honest, I don't think I would maintain it super well right now. I decided to play with jewelry supplies I had around the house and these wig clips. Each strand is made of beading wire, and finished with crimp beads. A couple of the ends need adjusted, I decided to finish without my pliers, so I clumsily squished the crimp beads with a key. 😅 But they're done, and I kinda love it! Green is up next!

So basically I used to make a ton of patches. The ones in the picture above are some of the ones I made. I unfortunately dropped that hobby for about a year and recently decided I’d like to start making them again. Unfortunately the markers I’ve tried recently do not show up well on black fabric, and I can’t for the life of me remember what kind I used that made them look so bright like they do in the picture. I’d love to hear if anyone has recommendations for precise markers that would be good for a project like this. Thanks in advance.

I’d still very much consider myself a novice watercolor painter, but I made this painting with pressed flowers and wanted to show it off! I definitely plan on doing this again.

I'm trying to draw the BOTW ancient tapestry. Done using markers on cardboard paper. At least it looks decent so far! (If you ignore the rune I messed up lol)

​Enamel: Cold enamel, carefully applied using an insulin syringe for fine details

I made this bouquet from air dry clay as a gift a few months ago. Looking back at them now, I can see so many things I'd do differently. But I don't think that takes anything away from it. I'm still happy I made these. They were created with care, gifted with love. And they became a small part of someone else's story.

I'm so in love with my new frog friend. He's made with textured green yarn and features hand-sculpted polymer clay eyes for maximum expression. But the real stars of the show are his fabulous, long red-and-white striped stockings! I think they give him a lot of personality. What do you think?

So I have a button press for making little pins. I want to use it to make magnets and such. The issue I'm running into is I do hand drawn art and I cannot draw that tiny. I tried to shrink down a drawing I made, but my printer isn't good enough quality and I can never get the size right. How are y'all sizing the art correctly and what are you using to print? I'm thinking maybe I can get them printed at a Walmart or something if needed, but if all the drawings are by hand in various sizes, how do I maintain quality?
