This receipt crochet blanket only contains products that I already crocheted as bags or pillows, I thought it would be a funny detail. I would have loved to include them all but the receipt is already long enough lol.

This was my first big crochet project, and it took me about six weeks to complete. When I started, each diamond took me around 45 minutes. By the end, I’d gotten it down to about 20 minutes each, which was really satisfying to see.

I originally started crocheting because I wanted something to do besides endlessly scrolling on my phone, and it ended up becoming one of the most relaxing hobbies I’ve picked up.

I’m pretty proud of how it turned out, especially for a first attempt!

Yarn: Loops & Threads, Soft Classic in butter, white, and light yellow; Loops & Threads, Impeccable in glacier, aqua, grass, and arbor rose; Big Twist in baby pink

Worked on it on and off for a little over a year. The wedding is in october, so now I will only maybe rearrange it a bit until I'm completely satisfied :)

I keep coming back to this vintage pattern. I made this previously, but ended up gifting it. I decided I needed one on hand for myself. Hopefully one day I will discover an aran crochet pattern I like as much.

Subbed the worsted weight this go around for bulky. This let the work build fairly quickly. I started this 2 and 1/2 weeks ago and completed it tonight. Now on to a tunisian colorwork project. Wish me luck 😭.

I am almost finished, but I could no longer wait to share!

I had plans for a much more simple baby blanket pattern for an expecting friend. But then someone had to go and post their finished version of this pattern and I was smitten. For the second time actually, since I had already saved the pattern to my favourites. So I just had to switch plans... the baby will probably be 6 month old when they finally receive their birth present - but it's so worth it.

The yarn is Tencel Bamboo double by Go Homemade in the colours petrol and off-white, and I used a 3mm hook. It's rather finicky to work with, but incredibly soft and cozy.

The pattern is "Under the Sea" by ComfortPatterns on Etsy.

I made it reversible by looking up some tutorials on YouTube.

I also linked the double crochets on the front side to get a denser fabric, but I'm not sure I'll do that again on future mosaic projects. It distorted the edges at the colour chages quite a bit.

Sharing because my other half doesn't appreciate the time and work that goes in to crochet 🤣

I've completed about 50 so far and developing mild carpal tunnel so plan to take a break!

Hello! Please excuse any mistakes because English is not my favourite language.

I just want to share my progress as a beginner crocheter because none of my real life friends crochet 😂

I've been practicing my magic circle and decided to make some flowers. On the left is my first attempt, the middle is the second attempt and on the right is my third attempt.

I'm super happy that it looks decent even though there are still mistakes like the sudden extra flower petal and the hole in the middle of the flower because my yarn tension was too tight 😅

When I first started, balancing a new hobby and my bachelor's thesis was a struggle. I even forgot to practice my crochet for a while until I forgot everything and have to relearn all the stitches and basics again.

But seeing this progress in just a month makes me happy so happy 🥹 it took a lot of practice and I almost given up but seeing the progress, it's definitely worth it ☺️

I was experimenting with this yarn since I have used it before and loved it. I wanted to try new stuff, so this is my first moss stitch blanket with a picot stitch border. I love it!! Easy and fun!!

Caron Tea Cakes - Smoked Fruit - N hook

I've just finished Nessie the Loch Ness Monster for my Niece's third birthday. Design by Patchwork Moose (Kate E. Hancock) and using Rainbow 8/6 100% Cotton yarn by Hobbii in colours pastel mint and dark teal and size 2.5mm hook.

I made an ant queen for my lab mate working on ants!

Her name is ANToinette 👑🐜

Took 5.5 months to complete. The top is knitted and has beads hand knitted in every other row (the picture of just the corset shows just HOW MANY beads went into the top). The bottom is crochet.

The yarn was Aunt Lydias. The top was held double with the regular white lace yarn and pearlescent yarn for extra glow. The skirt is just the regular white lace yarn.

This took forever but I'm so happy with how it turned out. I hand stitched it to a soft minky fabric too.

I just finished my first freehand edited version of a giraffe amigurumi pattern! Tbh I feel like I Frankensteined it together while shrugging my shoulders and hoping I could make new parts just by freehanding it :) either way, I’m super proud of this!!!

3 more rounds to go. I can't wait to finish it and start a new one with different color scheme.

I’ve been crocheting for YEARS (self-taught, not well 😌🤪) and until recently I thought that whenever a pattern says ‘Foundation Double Crochet’ it was just telling me to make my first row hahahah

Here we have my crazy neon granny square blanket. It's coming along! I work on it periodically in between my other projects. Recently I've been sewing in all my currently created squares, which makes me realize that I still have to make a lot more squares to fill in the gaps! This is currently about 6ft long and maybe 4ft wide.
