What I used for the front is actually the back side of a clean-back alpha.

This bracelet was my first time trying out a few new things:

- curved edges (made by adding 1 extra knotting string on either side)

- branching out from the alpha both perpendicular (the middle flaps) and parallel (the tail fins) to the base strings

- making invisible ends in an alpha

- making a multi-part bracelet

The whole process of making this bracelet took about 8 months of my free time.

I started by making a crude model of my wrist in Minecraft, such that 1 block = 1 knot. Then I eyeballed a projection of a toothless model I found in Blender onto the wrist, so that it looked good. After that I just had to unwrap the knots in Minecraft onto a flat plane and plan out where each string should go, which I did in Gimp.

The white on the tail is "qawn" (my nick) written in Joe Fatula's (Reddit user trampolinebears) Two Slice font.

Im glad I did that because you can tell the difference between the start and the end with my skill progression lol. Anyway im proud of how its turning out and needed a safe place to share haha. I started making bracelets again and I keep getting holes in my bracelet when I do a forward backward knot and the opposite. I don’t know what to do.

It's a tad scuffed but I'm really happy with how it turned out! :) 3-4 days of work, but I think it was worth it.

Ive just started reading patterns, as i have perfected the candy stripe to the best of my ability but i am STRUGGLING to get my patterns to look neat!! im making the knots as tight as possible, maybe im making them too tight? anyways help pls 🥹

As the title says I've just gotten started, this is the second try I've done that looks at least bearable to see since I skipped too many instructions on the first one, i get that I'm a newbie and I'm probably just getting greedy with what I can do, but how can I make it not look that blurry? (I know I've made mistakes on the edges I'm still fumbling the color change)

Just finished a bracelet for a friend of mine. She chose the pattern and colors. I fell in love and might do the pattern again soon.

E: I'd love to hear your feedback on how to get the bracelet more even! I feel like the chevron sections are great, but when I get to the hearts, the edges start to get wonky. Any tips wanted :))

i posted before about my goal of filling my entire arm with bracelets i made myself. this is #5 for me so far but it’s my 11th creation in total for the summer. can’t wait to see how many i can finish!!
