Does anybody use planetary magick in a baneful way? Malefic and benefic planets? With talismans, squares, etc. I don't see much pertaining to this anywhere, mostly just protective or positive things (which are great).

What are some good academically formatted books on the occult/demonology? I have a couple I really enjoy such as Witchcraft Magic and Alchemy by Grillot De Givry and The History of the Devil and the Idea of Evil by Carus. I'm not looking for anything too wild but would prefer books that have a variety of information.

Most RHPers don't even call themselves RHP. The obsession with the divide seems to be more so an LHP thing. RHP is thus basically an exonym, so to speak. I think there are a few people who called themselves explicitly RHP, I think Blavatsky did something like that, but for the most part, yeah, it's something of an exonym.

I seriously don't know where he got this idea from, I mean that the GD adepts would "throw up their hands in horror". Seems like dude's conflating GD adepts and Christian fundamentalists, just because LHPers call both RHP.

Not trying to diss anybody, I just find it amusing and a bit weird, because, you know, I never met a "sanctimonious RHPer". If anything, I always observed the opposite tendency among occultists: to get along surprisingly well and even practice together despite having very different background, view/metaphysics, goal and so on. I can easily picture a chaote, Luciferian and Christian esotericist doing a ritual together. Not just walking into a pub. If they were walking into a pub, my money would be on they are the same person too!

Hi everyone !! I'm here to chat a little bit about an energy vampire that is slowly creeping into my life through a close friend and I want them out of both of our lives. Of course I'II provide the juicy context this includes me (OP), T, and R.

T and I have been incredibly close for the last 6 years, we're roommates and live with our respective pets. It feels like one small but significant family! R is a coworker of T and at first it wasn't anything big. T does tend to have a bad habit of talking smack/badly about people for conversation. Sometimes he really means it and sometimes it's a way to get the ball rolling ?? Odd but it's what he enjoys. He talked TRASH about R - he's dumb, ugly, racist, bad at his job, hates his wife (who's also a cougar??), just overall not a great guy. Fast forward a few months T is in a group chat with R- I called him out on this and he seemed to start to protect R. T seemed to step back but slowly they've been hanging out after work, drinking together, even was broached with a double date with the wife! Brought home drugs R grew!

T still consistently comes home to tell me R was sad and needed hugs, wanted to vent all day, did a poor job at work because of his mental. I pulled back- I do not like R and don't care lol, now T thinks I am a bad friend to R because I am not open. It feels like I have to support T after being around R because he has no more energy after giving all his emotions to R. T will snap on me for not wanting to hang with R or listen to R's feelings. I've met R once.....at a work event.
We are not friends and I do not want this man's emotional weight on me through T. Nor do I want R knowing of my life.

Is there a spell to bring better people to T's life ?? Should I be looking for a spell to remove R from both our lives like a cord cutting ? Perhaps a sugar jar to make R better ?? Literally anything - I don’t ever want to hear about him again. (But I don’t want to send anything too karmic his way!)

Just really want this dude out of my life before he's showing up to hang in my apartment.

Recently I inherited my childhood home. I live out of state so I'll be renting it to strangers. I'd like to conduct a ritual to

1. Protect the building, and
   
2. Foster security and happiness for all who live there.

I'm trying to decide on a spirit or god to call upon for this.

Classically, Hestia, Greek goddess of the hearth, seems like a pretty solid fit... but surprisingly little was ever written about her in classical times. I'm not aware of any plants/stones/colors/etc. associated with her.

Right now my plan is to light a fire in the hearth, cook a nice cut of meat over the fire (with proper precautions), and serve it at my grandparents' dinner table. I'd also have as many family photos as I can find, and some of my childhood belongings.

I've been writing down a bunch of my earliest memories and would offer these to the hearth-fire as well.

I expect that's enough, but if anyone had other ideas as to good entities for this & correspondences, I'm open to suggestion

I am aware it’s not right to try and override someone’s free will. The situation is complicated, we haven’t split up from lack of love. I had a relapse into addiction and it scared him and I would love for him to believe me now that I will be able to achieve sobriety as that’s the thing that is holding him back.

You can probably work with Demons and defiantly Angels but not other spirits from other cultures.

Not Pagan but I do believe the existence of other gods like how in the Bible it mentiones the Egyptian gods  “For on this same night I will go through Egypt, striking down every firstborn in the land, human being and beast alike, and executing judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD.”

I see tons of good people who are pagans who ask spirits/other gods for help and nothing bad happens to them so just wondering if Lord allows it as long they are good inheart.

I have recently recognized a pattern where severe personal trauma and profound betrayal act as an automatic catalyst, transforming my nervous system into a volatile conduit for involuntary energy projection. When I am deeply wronged, my response is an immediate, intense, and seething hatred that completely bypasses the need for formal rituals, functioning instead like an explosive, instinctual 'Crisis Hex' or psychic strike. In multiple distinct instances, shortly after these acute emotional breaks, the specific individuals who mistreated me have faced sudden and catastrophic physical outcomes, ranging from severe illness to traumatic untimely deaths, financial ruin, ect.just awful and ugly consequences (Unless they apologize - weird but relevant)

This pattern just manifested again following a painful falling-out with a close friend whose family was instantly hit with a devastating medical and financial crisis. It’s always within a year or less.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this? It’s happening way too often to be coincidence.

We all know about the most famous books that are easily found online in pdf files but what about the grimoires that are extremely rare , the books that will make your wallet bleed and we can only drool about them.

Let's talk about those "unicorns" that are hidden from public eyes.

There's gotta be at least a dozen "What Crowley's all about" books, all deficient in one way or another. I've been always of opinion that if you wanna understand what Crowley taught, you gotta, you know, read the man himself.

However, I have no damn clue what A.O. Spare was all about. I've read the Book of Pleasure many times during different times and while I can understand and appreciate certain ideas in it, I don't really understand the overarching metaphysics implied in it at all. Kenneth Grant is supposed to have elaborated on his ideas, but given how far Grant's Thelema is from Thelema (as a certain Frater I read a while ago summarized it Grant's Thelema relates to Thelema more so how Satanism relates to Christianity), I wouldn't rely on his commentary on Spare and expect it to reflect his authentic teachings. Others have suggested that to understand Spare I must practice Spare's practical techniques, but descriptions of practical techniques in his works are extremely scarce and I consider the view, as it's called in the Eastern traditions, to be an important aspect of practice.

The chaos magical usage of the word Kia seems to have been reinterpreted to refer to something akin to the Yechidah. In Liber Null a bunch of terms from diverse mystical traditions seem to be purposefully "misused" to refer to something else, e.g. gnosis becomes more so magical trance, etc.

I want to understand Spare's "theology" or metaphysics, insofar as it can be understood, in detail and with a sense of nuance. The vague suggestion that Kia is "like Brahman or Tao, bro, non-duality and stuff" is not enough, because even various interpretations of Brahman according to various systems within Hinduism aren't remotely the same idea and unlike many people into mysticism, occultism, etc. I reject the idea that Advaita is end all be all Hinduism or even the pinnacle of it, let alone the fact that even Advaita of Shankara is different from, say, Advaita of Abhinavagupta. And that's only Brahman. How much further Tao is from Brahman. Besides the lazy perennialist interpretations go against the spirit of Spare's work itself, he writes:

Some do much to show the similarity of different religions; certainly by it I prove the possibility of a fundamental illusion, but that they never realise-or this Ukase they are the mockery, for how much they regret! They suffer more conflict than the unenlightened. With what they can identify their own delusion of fear they call truth. They never see this similarity and the quintessence of religions, their own poverty of imagination and religion's palliation. Better is it to show the essential difference of religions. It is as well to know that various means; is not their object to deceive and govern? Surely then, for the attainment of the transcendental, God and religion should have no place.

Certainly one can read it in a very narrow way as just a condemnation of theistic personalism (boring! I like that stuff too) but I think it's a rejection of lazy perennialism characterizing the likes of Aldous Huxley in general.

One of the most attractive things about Spare is his aloofness, so to speak, he didn't produce yet another synthesis of various spiritual doctrines and prop up his own with their age and authority, but made his own system, called things his own words, etc. Barely has anybody else done this and that's why I am interested in him.

It's been a while since, in my practice, I worship the Serpent as a divine being and have been doing some research for books and resources talking about ophiolatry (worship of serpentine deities or of snakes) but couldn't find much except the work of **Ophiolatreia** by *Hangrave Jennings.*

I would love some help in finding more resources than this, although it's a very good book and I recommend it, as well as other topics to study related to serpent energy.

My friend I believe had a portal open in his house. Lights are short circuiting, tv turning on and off randomly, he’s seeing shadows. He was dating a girl who made an Ouija board literally out of a paper grocery bag and they played with it when they were drunk but I don’t think they said goodbye and left a portal open. I have done cleansing before but I am wondering if there is any special procedure to close this without having the original people there besides him and not touching a board because I refuse to. Is there anything I can do? I practice hoodoo so I was going to do sage, salt, holy water, and psalms since it has always worked for me. Any other tips?

Hi guys first post here, sorry for my English. I really want answers cause I’m tired of getting in the same situation.
I’m from Mexico, family is catholic but we also have some esoteric beliefs (like any Mexican do) I don’t fully believe in that but I often catch “bad energy” and have to be cleaned with an egg often called “limpia”. Today I went to the alphabiotist and I met a lady that started talking to me about her many diseases n health related problems. Ofc I listened to her cause I’d be rude not to but she left me feeling really sick so I asked my aunt to do the egg thing hoping for the placebo effect and this never happened before but she started feeling sick and started vomiting and sweating while doing it. I’m a little shocked abt it. The pain is mostly gone now but I want to ask anyone why does that happen to me? And how can I prevent this to keep happening? Idk much about this and it’s making me go nuts. Thanks for reading me

So I recently finished writing and casting a spell I tailored myself. It's basically an "unceasing remembrance" working. Similar to a think-of-me spell, but much more intense. The whole thing ended up being 17 pages long and took me about 2 hours to complete.

Some details:

• Invokes Aphrodite for assistance.
• Uses a Venus kamea.
• Cast on the Day of Venus.
• Incorporated folk ways.

The strange part is what happened afterward.

Instead of noticing signs from the target's side (which I obviously can't verify yet), it feels like the intention is echoing back into my own life.

I've been thinking about him almost constantly, far more than before. Then I saw a truck with his name on it. I dreamed about him.

The weirdest part was this morning. The very first thing I heard after waking up was my neighbor shouting his name, even though the person the spell is for lives somewhere completely different.

I know these could just be coincidences or the Baader-Meinhof effect, but the timing has me wondering if the current of the working is reflecting back onto me instead of reaching the target.

I'm planning to do a divination soon, but until then I'm curious what more experienced practitioners think.

Has anyone experienced a spell seeming to "leak" back onto the caster? Would you interpret this as:

• The spell gaining traction?
• Energetic feedback because I'm too connected to the target?
• A sign that the working is still settling?
• Or just normal psychological pattern recognition after a highly focused ritual?
