Please share your interpretations as well! Here’s my experience:

I did a spell (my friend made her own as well, hers is the bottle with a cork and mine is the pickle jar for reasons) to help with self-improvement over the next year or so. I wanted it to be something between like a vision board and a time capsule, where i chose pictures/quotes along with herbs/crystals and other ingredients that fit the vibes of the areas I want to work on and then in a year I’m going to open it like a time capsule and celebrate the progress I made. Each month I’m going to melt a new candle over the top to recharge it. That whole process is definitely not how I typically do my spell jars but I wanted to try something new!

Anyways, after the doing first part of the spell, I lit my candle over the lid to seal it and for like 30 minutes the wax melted into what looked like a horse face, a knight chess piece, or a seahorse before melting down the rest of the way and a chunk falling off shaped like a horse with a mermaid tail (I believe the creature in general is called a hippocampus).

My friend and I thought “that seems…. really specific” so I decided to pull some tarot cards for clarity, maybe to see if I’d get a card with horse imagery like The Sun. As I was shuffling, two cards jumped right out and landed in front of the jar on the table: The Emperor reversed and The Chariot upright.

My interpretation: I’m not super familiar with symbolism of a lot of creatures in mythology but it seems like a hippocampus and/or seahorses are associated with strength, hope, and protection. I take the tarot cards in the context of the spell to mean that in order to reach the goals in mind, I need to break out of the patterns I’ve held onto and charge forward with confidence, discipline, and strength. All signs combined, my interpretation is that the spell will very strongly help me along the way as long as I put in the work to become who I want to be. That I need to take charge of my own life and push forward.

Does anyone have any other insight as to what the different wax shapes / tarot cards might mean?

Hi I'm a still fairly new magic user is what I consider myself even after years of using spell jars and rituals I don't practice my witchcraft as often as I should, a lot has happened rn with my boyfriend of 7 years family and while talking to him, his cousin had told him earlier that his family is cursed. I decided to consult my Pendulum board for guidance on if I could help him with this "curse" by using a spell or spell jar, what my pendulum managed to spell out was, "no are back." I asked to make sure that the sentence was completed and it wildly swung yes, rn im puzzled on how to interpret this. My boyfriends family has had terrible luck over the years and it seems that he has always been stuck in the middle of it, if one thing good happened it is like a bad thing must happen afterwards. This is a crisis (I wont disclose what happened to give his family privacy) that happened right after he got his first job. Please let me know if anyone can help!

If you've been second-guessing every card you pull lately, re-shuffling, asking the same question three different ways, that tracks. I have come to ask a simple question, can you (in your opinion) develop Scrying skills if you lack the ability to already see the unseen, or do you have to have that ability then Scrying is a more dialed in on demand technique to use said ability? I have a very active and visual imagination but I have never seen a ghost or spirit personally. I have been looking at my bowl of water for a while now, a few times per week and I am not making any progress which makes me wonder if this is a skill I can even develop if I am not ‘gifted’ in this way.

I’ve just got myself my own pair and I was really excited to start using them but I haven’t gotten any responses or answers yet using it. I’ve tried to establish yes and no already and invite only benevolent beings to interact but I get nothing so far. I really wanna use the rods for guidance, any advice for a beginner?

Hi all ! I recently have gotten in Cartomancy and today I decided to begin bonding with the deck I found in my house ( I did cleanse it before and after use).

I asked the deck about itself and pulled a Queen of Clubs and that made me smile. Felt a good sense of a femininity and kindness , that the deck was there to help and guide me as I learn and grow !

Then I asked how the deck felt about me and pulled 6 of Hearts and then I got all giddy ! Got a good sense of connection and that my deck had good, fond feelings for me !

Context: I've been practicing since I was little, as it became a special interest since my family, specifically my grandmother, was Wiccan. I have always been very interested in working with deities but never fully committed to learning and exploring, with life and other things in the mix.

I have been going through a big rough patch and got the urge to pull from my deck. After a couple of questions, I asked about help and working with deities, to which I pulled the Two of Cups and The Sun. I found answers from different sources leading to Hermes, Apollo, or Dionysus. I'm terribly unfamiliar and would love to know what you think.

I'm not sure if this is worth mentioning, but I've also been seeing robins a fuck ton, to the point I feel crazy. I should mention I have always felt very connected to animals, but most recently birds. I did just recently lose someone very close to me in September who was very spiritual, but I feel like robins have been surrounding me for a while.

Hey gang! So I am a practicing witch of about 5 years and recently I was in a relationship with this guy. At the beginning of the relationship I had asked just for a sign of a hummingbird to show me that I was on the right path with him. I dated him for 3 months, summer came, not a single hummingbird!! He then broke up with me and two days later I saw my first hummingbird. The little guy took a tiny little rest in my lap before flying away. What could this be interpreted as? I personally saw a sign i am on the right path even if it's an uncomfortable one for now. I do know that this is a communication from the universe in some capacity. I was just wondering what y'all thought about it!!

I’ve always had very clear, vivid, and accurate dreams that either came true in actual events or outcomes. Ever since I was really young. I can tell the difference between these dreams and normal ones bc I wake up entirely drained, exhausted, physically sore, and have a migraine. I wanted to come on here and ask for outside opinions on my dreams interpretation and what you think it means. I’m unsure if I’m looking at this in bias or unclearly.

Context: last night my father in law proposed a business idea for the whole family to be involved in. He wants to have a sit down conversation about it tmr. My husband and I already have our own plans that could tie with the idea but I’m hesitant. Our plans involve us going back to school, paying off debt, investing in the home we own, and potentially moving states, etc. I do have reservations considering how my own family is handling their trusts, estate, and family matters. I’m worried my FIL is looking at this is rose colored glasses and as a way to keep the family together. Keep in mind last November I was in an accident that resulted in both of my femurs being snapped. I haven’t been able to work and stress ab finances have been extreme. My husband has been working on his days off to keep us afloat. To keep this as short as possible I’ll leave it at that bc it’s insane lol.

Dream:
I was with a group of unknown friends and I was helping care for newborn child that was abandoned. We had all had a group dinner with takeout.. it’s was rice dish similar to jambalaya. I went back for seconds and looked in the container again and saw human teeth. I had not dishes the teeth for myself. Not individual teeth either.. teeth that were still attached to bone as if it was cut out. Pretty much the front bottom row of teeth from someone. I had scooped it out and placed it in a separate container. I remember thinking I should be disgusted bc I just ate the food but when I realized it was bc I was in a dream I woke up. Ik some parts are probably just dream slop and it means nothing but I wanted to paint the whole picture.

My interpretation:
Personally I think the group meal with rice represents abundance and prosperity in numbers. The teeth and jaw meaning biting off more than you can chew. My full interpretation is that the situation can create abundance and generate flow for our family. That is if there’s communication, honesty, respect, and so forth. Most importantly knowing where to draw the line: between ourselves, ambition, or even greed. Considering it wasn’t my teeth or something I dished for myself. Maybe it’s represent my FIL taking on more than he can handle.

Decided to ride my bike along a trail that I always walk through.

Today I was riding my bike, listening to my playlist related to the girl I love, and as I came closer, I didn’t see it u til it flew in the air a bit and landed maybe 30-40 feet away from me. As it flew I said out loud “what the hell is that a turkey?” And then it landed on the trail and I stared at it for a second. Then I smelled something horrid (sometimes the trail smells weird in some spots so I thought it was normal) until I saw something on the floor where it was, with so many flies around it/on it.

Is this supposed to be something negative? Things haven’t been going my way lately, but at the same time, I’ve been seeing things I consider to be “nice omens” like 3 bunnies chasing each other, a group of ducklings and their mama crossing that same trail, and then I also received back some fan mail signed by one of my favorite actresses. In fact, I told my friend about it and even he was like “this is a good omen!!”

So now I’m just wondering if seeing this vulture really means something negative? In Mexican/hispanic culture, they’re considered general bad luck (I think). But at the same time, the part of the world I’m in (South texas) doesn’t speak much on stuff like this unless it’s superstitions like lechusas or duendes.

It happened as I was listening to I Wanna Know You by Hannah Montana (I was also singing it loud as hell) which I think is funny cuz I was all giggles until I saw it and froze😹😹
