Question Helping us Map the landscape of Modern Gnosticism!

Over at Talk Gnosis we've started a new project called Mapping Gnosticism. We're going to have conversations about some of the major concepts in Gnosticism, amongst it's many forms. Alongside the interviews that we already love to do!

We realized that if we wanted to cover the big topics for modern gnostics, it would be a good idea to find out how most people arrive under the big tent of Gnostic traditions and philosophies.

To that end, we built a poll to get a sense of where people are finding their information, and where they first encountered it.

We'll give the poll about a week for the community to find it and fill it out, and then we'll probably release some numbers as well as do a show discussing what we found!

Fill out the form! Every data point helps, and there are spots for you to list your favourite writers, channels, and podcasts! (Ahem, Talk Gnosis, Ahem!)

Thoughts A lot of the "secret" teachings Jesus shared seems to contain a lot of what religious people consider demonic?

Like how he mentions that the kingdom will come, when neither male is male or female is female?
A lot of religious people consider this "of the devil" like transgenderism etc. Or perhaps he didn't mean it literally, but perhaps an inner union of masculine and feminine?

Also how Jesus mentions that the kingdom is within your body.

If you look at statues of the devil, they often have serpents coiling up from what seems to be from the base of the spine.
Which seems to be similar to kundalini, where you also see two serpents traveling up the chakras of the spine, which is to symbolize inner transformation and enlightenment.

Also priests will often say that meditation is of the devil, because it's not Christianity (have heard this often).

When meditation is used for inner transformation and enlightenment or just simply for health benefits.

There are probably other parallels that I haven't brought up here.

I don't think religious people are right that this is of the devil and that it's mostly said out of fear for something they don't understand. However I'm curious if other people have noticed the same thing, and if we can learn anything from this or whether it just reflects ignorance and lack of understanding?

Thoughts Taking in many NDEs lead me to believe we are divine sparks trapped in matter, flesh, and time

I'm in my 40's, minimally spiritual, semi-confounded Christian, still unable to understand what's going on in this reality, up until recently. Then I found out about NDEs, OBEs, astral projection, precognition, past life memories, and how much actual data has been collected on people's experiences. My mind has been utterly blown and the doors are off the hinges. Nobody talked about this stuff growing up and no wonder so many people are naturalistic or atheist or non-spiritual...

Anyway, I was just thinking about how many NDEs and past life memory accounts I've read/watched/listened to over the last two years. And I think I did pretty well at not falling for a lot of the assumptions and traps (new age like stuff for example) as I quickly noticed the duality at play (Heaven and Hell experiences).

I also recognized that there were basically two parts to NDE type experiences:

  • Part 1: Logistical / Mechanical: floating out of body, fading into a 360-degree ball of awareness, heightened awareness/perception/knowledge, seeing a bright light of some kind, floating through a tunnel, life review, meeting God/Jesus/angels/guides/deceased loved ones/etc; then ultimately coerced to return to the body/life on Earth -- This is the part that is consistent across THOUSANDS of NDES

  • Part 2: The content or "vision": this is basically the part where the person gets told a specific message, either personal or for everyone; or a tour of Heaven or Hell, etc -- This is the part that is usually unique, though there are "spheres" of overlapping message types, but still much variation -- IMO this is the Archonic manipulation

Anyway, like I said, I realized the commonalities and discrepancies and thought there must be some clues of truth hidden beneath the surface of all this stuff. These are real experiences people are reporting, but things still don't quite add up. Then I found out about prison planet, the soul trap, memory wipe, forced reincarnation, Gnosticism, the Demiurge, the Archons and the agenda to harvest and recycle sous, etc. It all clicked.

We are pure individual units of infinite consciousness/spirit (words that can't properly contain the right meaning) who have been placed in flesh bodies, and limiting our awareness down to the 5 senses (for most people) and trapped in time and causality - a massive physical/spiritual/mental matrix.

I've realized that the soul and post-death conditions were supposed to be the focus all along in life. This entire reality is a zone of manipulation, distraction, control, misrepresentation, occultation, and so on. Our true self is stateless, faceless, genderless, ageless, unbanked, unhoused, unemployed, nameless, non-human, timeless, numberless, immaterial, and cosmic -- aka sparks of the Divine Source embedded in flesh and time.

in matrix, the Oracle is Sophia

Like Sophia, she does not merely possess knowledge, she guides people toward awakening. Rather than dictating their fate, she encourages them to discover their true nature through their own choices.

The Oracle serves as a bearer of gnosis, the transformative knowledge that leads to liberation. Her role is not to predict the future, but to help individuals awaken to the reality that lies beyond appearances.

The Demiurge: The Original Narcissist

Upvotes

I often read about the Demiurge interpreted as a symbol of the ego.

The ego is the sense of self. The Demiurge, however, represents something more extreme. He doesn't merely possess a self. He enthrones it.

The Demiurge proclaims,"I am God, and there is no other beside me." His defining characteristic is not self-awareness but grandiosity. He cannot recognize any reality greater than himself. He demands worship, craves absolute authority, and reacts with jealousy toward anything that threatens his supremacy. The Demiurge is the archetype of grandiosity, self-idolatry, and spiritual blindness, and could be easily labeled as the original narcissist, or the narcissistic spirit in man.

What do you think?

Day of Mary the Magdalene, July 22nd (automated post)

Contrary to early Church propaganda Mary Magdalene was no prostitute, and was instead likely a senior disciple and recipient of Jesus' inner teachings as well as a possible consort. In the Gnostic Gospel of Mary she recounts a portion of these teachings to the other disciples after the crucifixion. In one scene she is disparaged and disbelieved by Peter due to her status as a woman, perhaps as a foretaste of things to come. Use this day to read the Gospel of Mary and remember the essential Christian teachings of love, forgiveness, and equality, and reject legalistic interpretations.

We will have orb type bodies in pleroma maybe.

I think we will have basic shapes bodies or orb like bodies in pleroma without the bizzare organs like legs and hands. Also maybe, we will have powers like green lantern where we will be able to make stuff with light like maybe make hands of light and stuff. So yeah . No genders, basic shapes and orbs and stuff and just simple existence and stuff.

Not only that we will be able to make maybe faces of light too and control them, just for recreational purpose.

Have you noticed that you can have internal monologue of a completely different personality inside your mind. Like you can have a persona of a person inside your head. You may be able to project that face out made of light. Something like that

Just some speculations. What do you guys think?

Question How's gnosticism any different from the other Abrahamic religions?

I'm still new to gnosticism but the more I read the more I see the similarities it has with mainstream Christianity and Islam where men are the originals and women are just a copy.

-The great mother barbelo were created by a superior father.

-Sophia tried to bring forth an aeon from herself just like the father did with barbelo only for her to end up bringing the amoral demiurge. A woman giving birth resulted in a flawed creation whereas if a he gave birth it's considered perfect and pure.

I know the Monad is "unknowable" but it's still knowable enough to be a "Father/He"

can someone please help me understand how's this not another misogynistic religion rooted in womb envy.

Question Which music do you listen to

Today I had a realization that listening to music is a form of meditation. I am not saying music is a bad or good but in my case it didn't have a good effect.

After meditating and listening to my favorite artist I realized today I got pulled back into a way of thinking that felt "more attached" to this world. Like I was doing a negative form of meditation.

If anyone is knowledgeable about how music factor into gnosticism or a personal gnostic relation to music I would like to know how they navigate this. Is there music that you prefer? Do you avoid it?

Ecclesiastes as the First Phenomenological Record of Life Under a God of Totality

This essay argues that the oscillation running through Ecclesiastes - praised by some as literary paradox, dismissed by others as unresolved pessimism - is the phenomenological record of someone performing the crucifixion of opposites under a god-image that contains evil without the vocabulary to name what it contains. Qohelet is stranded between a polytheistic solution no longer available within the monotheistic tradition he was writing inside, and an individuation vocabulary not yet invented, which is why the text can only oscillate rather than resolve.

Thoughts Seeing Through the World: The Heart of Gnosis

Sometimes I wonder if gnosis can truly begin until one sees the material world for what it really is. Not merely as a physical place, but as something temporary, flawed, incomplete, or deceptive, and ultimately incapable of revealing the fullness of reality.

As long as we remain completely identified with the material world - with our bodies, possessions, ambitions, fears, and the endless dramas of everyday life - we remain asleep to the divine spark within. Our attention is fixed outward, and what is eternal remains hidden.

Perhaps seeing through the veil of the material world is not simply another Gnostic teaching, but a condition that makes gnosis possible. How can we discover our true origin if we never question the reality we have always taken for granted? How can the divine spark awaken if it is completely absorbed in a world that is passing away?

This doesn't mean rejecting life or pretending the material world doesn't exist. Rather, it means refusing to mistake the temporary for the eternal. The world is experienced, but no longer worshipped. It becomes a place we pass through rather than the place to which we ultimately belong.

Perhaps this is why Christ's role in many Gnostic traditions is that of the Revealer or Illuminator. He does not merely teach moral truths; he opens the eyes of those who are asleep. The moment we begin to see through the illusion, the divine spark begins to remember itself. And perhaps that remembrance is what the ancient Gnostics meant by gnosis.

These reflections bring to mind a few sayings:

In the Gospel of Thomas, Saying 11, Jesus declares that "This heaven will pass away, and the one above it will pass away; and those who are dead are not alive, and those who are living will not die."

In Saying 42, the shortest saying attributed to Jesus, we find the words: "Be passersby" (or "Become passers-by").

In saying 56, Jesus states "Whoever has come to understand the world has found only a corpse, and whoever has found a corpse, of him the world is not worthy."

Question My first conception of The Monad and Barbelo: a two-person "trinity"?

So I just started reading the Apocryphon of John, and in the first few pages the text describes Barbelo in ways like: "Her light reflects his light," "She is from His image in His light," "She is the initial power," "She is before everything," "First to arise among the invisible realms," and so on.

Whenever I read these lines I can't help but think that the Gnostic conception of God is somewhat similar to an Orthodox Trinitarian god but instead of three divine persons, two persons: The Monad and Barbelo. Obviously The Monad is superior to Barbelo, but the way these passages describe Barbelo as the perfect Image of The Monad makes me wonder whether it's possible to think of the Gnostic Divinity as a two-person divinity, without forgetting that The Monad is superior and the Origin of everything, including Barbelo (just as, in Trinitarianism, the Father is the origin of everything, including the Son and the Holy Spirit).

What do you guys think?

Thoughts What is Gnostic Sin?

Ok ok, kind of a clickbait title, however also not at the same time. In Gnosticism, Sin as its portrayed in the canonical Bible does not (exist except for a few sects), but is rather portrayed as ignorance. one who is a Christian would argue against a Gnostic about sin on the basis that “if sin doesn’t exist then what was Jesus healing.” So this post is my response and my way to try bridge the gap between Gnostic and Christian ideas of sin

Feel free to skip to the final part if you don’t want all the explanation mumbo jumbo
(Side note: this is in a way sort of a “rant” and I’m sure my point may be missed, is misrepresented or even easily misinterpreted. so feel free to criticise or ask for clarification or to disagree and hopefully my point comes of clearly! Thank you.)

Part 1: the 3 types of Sin

Of course gnostic ideas on sin varied and exists in different forms but I find myself looking at the exegesis of the soul for the most realistic basis for the portrayal of sin which can bridge all concepts of sin. However, before I explain anything, I’d like to differentiate the types of sin we see (atleast the relevant to the topic concepts of Sin)

  1. Sin as Law. This is the biblical understanding of sin, If one does something wrong against gods commandments, he has sinned. Sin is treated as a form of law that one must avoid to avoid “sinning”.
  2. Sin as spiritual defilement. This version of sin is more “mystical” it’s not entirely gnostic as they have there own idea of what sin is but this is what I’ll be using to connect gnostic idea of sin and sin as law together.
  3. Sin as ignorance. This is Gnostic sin, the idea being if you commit an act in ignorance whether through desire or rage or whatever then you have sinned. This may be a hot take but I see Sin as Ignorance and Sin as Spiritual defilement to kind of be one and the same in a unique way.

So then with these three types one probably wonders what relation they have to each, For me I’d say Sin as Law is a corrupt version of Sin as Spiritual defilement while Sin as Spirit Defilement is a less extreme version of Sin as Ignorance.

Part 2: New Testament Sin

Without a doubt I believe the canon interpretation of Sin is a corrupted version of sin, and when Jesus spoke of sin, it was not the same as sin in the Old Testament.
The idea of Sin as Law was created to control and persecute. Jesus in Matthew and Mark says he came for the sinners, yet he tends to heal the sick and wounded. Some conflate this with those who are disabled or Ill have some “evil force” brought upon them or they were sinners in past lives. however, when you genuinely look at Jesus and what he was doing in the four main gospels and you look at the original New Testament meaning of sin, a different picture is formed, one which more closely aligns with Gnostic view that sin is “ignorance”.

Sin meaning “Missing the mark”.
In the original languages which the Bible exists in, The word used for sin actually meant “to miss the mark” rather then “to go against gods commandments”. When Jesus said he had come for the sinners, he wasn’t saying he’d come for those who went against gods plan but rather for those who “missed the mark”, made a mistake, or even… damaged their soul.

Hell not being a place after death and Satan not being a literal demon entity.
The words used for hell in the original translations also didn’t mean a place after death rather it was a literal existing place outside of Jerusalem. Satan also originally meant “adversary” rather than a literal entity named “Satan”, with these historical meanings. its objective that the idea that Jesus was correcting those who went against gods law to save them from an evil place after death which is ruled by a guy named Satan isn’t exactly what Jesus was actually doing-
In reality he was “correcting” a “missed mark” using a garbage dump outside of Jerusalem as a example “if your adversary(Satan) convinced you to sin(miss the mark) then you should be cast out to hell(the garbage dump)”

Now you have an understanding of that, In short Gnostic sin was Gnostics seeing the miss interpretations and giving a more literal interpretation.

Final part: what tf my point actually is.

Jesus never came to correct gods law more then he did to “correct the missed mark”, sin wasn’t going against gods law but more over screwing up in some way, “but screwing up what?” I hear you ask well, screwing up the soul - spiritual defilement
In spiritual defilement, it’s not that only the evil are sinners but more over that all evil people are sinner but not all sinners are evil.

Physical - so when Jesus was healing the lame, blind, sick, so on he wasn’t making an evil soul good again but rather corrected an accident, which was represented literally through a deformed or damaged body which let’s be honest are a missed mark of nature.
Metaphorical - when Jesus was “casting out demons” it’s explained as literal, like a literal demon leaving but it also could be taken as more metaphorical nonliteral example to visualise what Jesus was doing. By correcting the mark(casting out the demon) he was making the person whole again.

Here’s where Exegesis of the soul comes in, This text was adopted seemingly by the Gnostics but isn’t attributed to the gnostics but rather as a general Christian text, in the text a prostitute keeps giving herself to man after man but they always leave her. The texts pains the Sin not as the literal act but rather the fact “she gave her heart away” or more actually defiled her soul. It’s only after she stops giving her heart away to those who used her that she was “forgiven” for her sins or rather “made spiritually whole” once more.
So when you look at this text there is a level of that Gnostic sin as ignorance within it and when Jesus corrected “the missed mark” and “casting out the demon” he was “making the soul whole again.” As such correcting an ignorant mistake/action which damaged the soul whether through nature or through one’s own actions.

Sin is defilement of the soul which is defiled through ignorance whether literally or figuratively. As such it bridges the canonical Jesus’s actions to more closely what Gnostic Jesus was saying.

What does being Gnostic really mean?

I was raised catholic. Forced to go to church every sunday and even went to a private catholic school in the Philippines. Ive always questioned religion growing up. Being raised in the Philippines my dad was very religious but also weird because when we are sick, he would call a witch doctor to heal us which the Catholic religion considers a sin. But ive always been pulled more into the more spiritual ways in terms of healing crystals saging. I always prayed only to Jesus and Mama mary. I alsp believe in the paranormal and casting spells are real rather that what the bible always taught. Present day: few years ago I ran into this show called the secret. All about the law of attraction and it resonated with me. Since then I had been practicing manifesting and its really working out for me. Few days ago I ran into this video about Mary Magdalene nomad call and I immediately clicked on it because during my catholic school days I always wanted to hear more about Mary Magdalene for some reason but always got disappointed because the only thing they taught us is that she is a prostitute. So after I watched that video about the nomad call I was blown away because it aligns with everything I am believing it. I always believed there is a higher power and just did not know what it is. Could be the universe idk. I also believed we are all connected with the esrth and everything living. I believe in frequencies and energies. I could not get along with majority of my Christian friends because they judge me for my beliefs and tries to get me to go to their church so I can be saved. Ive always questioned religion but seing that video about the nomad answered a lot of my questions and even let me feel peace inside and not bothered by everyone else. I am very much interested in learning more about gnostism and what is it. Im not sure if I would be considered gnostic? Any information you guys want to share with me about it or reasons why you are gnostic or any experiences are appreciated. I wanna hear more of it!!!

The Reality Machine

When Gnosticism says we are imprisoned in the material world, I think it can be taken more literally than people assume.

As a thought experiment, step back and really think about it. Think about where you are and what you do every day.

Day after day, dawn after dawn, night after night, we wake, work, eat, sleep, and repeat. We are trapped on some ride, a kind of machine moving with relentless clockwork. Look at where we find ourselves: a tiny rock drifting through an unimaginably vast abyss, confined by an atmosphere we cannot simply leave. We are governed by unyielding laws of physics, aging, entropy, and time. The stars are separated by distances we will never cross, and the universe itself appears to be expanding, carrying everything farther apart. It is as though the cosmos itself is built on separation and limitation.

Whether one sees this as divine design or the work of the Demiurge, it is difficult not to see existence as a kind of enclosure. The prison is not merely Earth, but the entire material order itself. Every world screams in pain. The cosmos is a machine whose rules we did not choose, whose processes end in destruction, and from which there seems to be no escape through material means alone. If there is freedom, it cannot come from conquering matter, but from awakening to the divine spark within, which is not bound by the laws that govern this universe.

"What makes us free is the gnosis of who we were, of what we have become; of where we were, of wherein we have been cast; of whereto we speed, of wherefrom we are redeemed; of what birth truly is, and of what rebirth truly is." -Theodotus (preserved in Excerpta ex Theodoto)

Another Gnostic dream, would love help interpreting

I had a dream last night that I can’t quite shake. I have not had a dream like this since my previous post. Most nights, I no longer dream. Perhaps someone can help me to interpret this dream like the last one.

I don’t quite recall the beginning of the dream, it was more like a story that begins in media res. I was with a group of people, around my age. They were very diverse, and I seemed to know them quite well. We were having a conversation about the classes that we were taking. The strange part about this was that the classes were for learning how to wield and practicing the usage of psychic abilities.

We had just left one of these classes, and it felt like we were on a break in the middle of an urban area, in the middle of a big city. We were on a sidewalk. I began using my psychic abilities to fly around. So did the others. We all flew to a rooftop, and settled atop it. I was the last to land on top of the roof, and I remember holding my breath and pulling a vacuum to assist me in settling down slowly on top of the roof. The other students were impressed by how graceful my landing was, and immediately asked for the technique on how I did that, which I explained to them. We were all very excited.

Time shifts, or perhaps I don’t remember certain sections of the dream. I was in a large building, it looked like a conference room with a stage, like a hotel conference hall for business retreats. There was an old man giving lessons on the stage. During the lesson, he had assistants rotating around the room, handing out lesson materials. The first of those materials were a clipboard with buttons and chess pieces on them. The exercise was to move them around with our minds. I focused on the objects, and felt a tug in my head, like a change in pressure in my sinuses. Whichever piece that I focused on moved around the clipboard. I turned to a person sitting next to me and exclaimed that I was surprised at how intuitive it was. I compared my control of the objects to the controls of a video game.

The assistants came around again and replaced the clipboard and pieces with wooden spoons. The object here was to make the spoon spin in the air, which I did as well. The pressure in my head began feeling more like a sinus headache, and I knew somehow that I was pushing myself too hard, so I stopped. Strange, considering that I was effortlessly flying earlier in the dream without any such discomfort, although I suppose it was only for a few moments, only long enough to get on top of the building with my fellow students.

(An aside: Regarding the other dream that I posted, the similarities to the Matrix had been lost on me until someone read the dream and pointed them out to me. This time, the similarities were extremely apparent, even within the dream. I distinctly had the feeling that the spoon did not exist, and that the realization of this fact would allow me to do what I wanted with it. This does not feel like an accident. Since I had my initial dream, I have been using the mantra “there is no spoon” frequently in waking life to remind myself of the ephemeral nature of the reality in which we live. It may sound cheesy, or that I am intentionally ripping off the Wachowski’s, but it is what it is.)

At any rate, time shifted yet again. This time, it was clear that I had gone to sleep, and was now in a car on my way to the conference hall for more lessons. I was carpooling with the students at the beginning of the dream, and one of the other students whose name I never got were bemoaning the fact that we had forgotten our computers, so we could not take notes.

This time, we were late to the lesson. We snuck in and sat down, trying not to attract too much attention to ourselves, but our efforts failed. The old man who was teaching up on stage got down off of the stage and began walking between the rows of chairs filled with people, demonstrating another psychic technique. He held his hands together and moved them in a circle, like he held an invisible ball. Energy, blue and transparent, looking like wind come to life, formed into a bubble in his hands. As he was doing this, I mimicked his actions.

Have you ever placed your hands close together and felt an energy between them? As I mimicked him, I felt much the same sensation. My efforts started forming the whisps of what he had created within my own hands, but I could not fully manifest what he had. He came over to me and pushed the ball of energy towards me through the air, over the heads of the people sitting in front of me. Reacting almost automatically, I caught it in between my hands and held it there, suspended in the air. I could feel the heat radiating from the bubble of energy. I passed it back to the teacher, who passed it again to me with a smile on his face. This time, I could feel that I was not strong enough to hold it any longer, and could feel the pain in my sinuses again. So, as the bubble of energy soared through the air towards me, I put my index finger out and popped it. As I did so, I felt the heat on my finger intensely, like I had dipped my finger into boiling water for a moment, but then the heat subsided. The rest of the people attending the lecture gasped, some laughed, and the teacher laughed too. Then, I woke up.

I continue to have these dreams that feel like messages. I can’t shake the feeling that I am experiencing coded symbolism revealing information that reinforces the idea that reality is not what it seems. Apart from that, I cannot tell what lesson this dream was meant to confer.

I am of two (or more) minds on the issue, because a part of me believes that my own beliefs and fixations could be causing a mental feedback loop affecting my waking and dormant mind. I am curious to hear others’ thoughts on this issue. It is so difficult to tell what is true these days.

I took out a spoon this morning and tried moving it with my mind. No luck! :)

My struggle of fate

I'm learning about gnosticism for like 6 months (2 of them mainly larping/reading really "top of the iceberg" materials) now, i concider myself sethian, I've read some texts of naghamadi and now reading pistis Sophia. I've also watched some videos or smthng like that about gnosticism, i realize now that they are mostly unusable and usable for larpers only. The thing is, I'm having problem with "fate" and being into religion. I'm not sure of i actually believe in this teaching, I'm not sure that I have a spark of inlightment in my self, I'm not sure if I'm not doing this for having a Justification of existence in this world, maybe some of you had this, how do you get out of this? I'm scared that I'm... you know, not real or something, because how stupid that sounds but i like God, God is ideal, God is orgasm in a good way, it would be sad if I can not escape all the human scum, all the bad things of this world, i can't live with this thought. Also about the second, I understand that it's hard for me just to basically read the long texts, and much easier to read some "short versions" for a few last years because of depression which doesn't have all of the details. I even think that I understand the "gnostic mythology ", but not fully process of enlightment. Maybe some people here with problems on concentrations or just basically young like me could give some advices about understanding and rightfully reading texts?

I think that this looks terrible and people wouldn't understand what I mean, but okay

Sex is used as a tool by the archons

To being with it is simply a theory, but I think that this would align with hermetic principles. Women are able to get pregnant 6 days per month, so them wanting to have sex outside of these six days would technically be a bizzare behavior, so perhaps humans having sex outside of the purpose of procreation makes more attached to this 3D realm and makes them potentially lose time with their divine self and makes them more embarked in their animalistic self, maybe sexual desire itself has been hijacked by society. The fact that women desire sex outside of their fertility period either proves that society used chemicals to change the human mind or that they are unknowingly forced to have sex when their body does not want it.

People could tell a lot of things but it all comes down to the fact that detaching from desires makes it easier to ascend. So maybe celibacy would be optimal, since detaching from sexual activity would mean that we detach from our animalistic self since all animals thrive to reproduce, just a thought, feel free to oppose me in the comments if you desire.

I grew up Christian and I’ve always prayed in the Christian way.
I went to church today (I was forced) and I found myself praying because I’m in a desperate situation but I just felt like wrong.
I consider myself gnostic because it’s the only sector that actually makes sense to me but I haven’t rid myself of the Christian indoctrination.
Do gnostics pray?
Are gnostics Christians?
I need help cause I’m so confused.

Thoughts God seem like a suffering connoisseur

Like he I feel like is very ruthless when it comes to his taste in making people suffer in different ways. He is very selfish too in a way like he wants that taste of misery, that fear, dread , that sorrow and agony of desire. And he goes hard when he does that. Like when I get nightmares, I feel like it ruined by life in a way. Those dreams haunt and chase me. Those dreams cause me dread even in normal situations. They unsettle me and f me up. God is that kind of a being. Man why is there even a god. I wish there was no god and there was just nonsense everywhere. That would have been better than this stuff. Now life is like a suffering park. I don't have a word worst than suffering. So yeah suffering park.

He has a dark sense of humor too I think maybe. But yeah we are nothing more that train wreaks running on the line bound to suffering.

This god is just like us maybe, he has needs that he can't live without. He has to get his fix to make us suffer. He is like us in that way

Here is the thing. He is very powerful like wow. Like he can fully grasp us with the leverage of fear and also desire . Like when you are in dread, it's real and 100 percent heavy. Like fear fills you up with full capacity when it hits. You will feel it to your full capacity. There will be no space left . Yeah.
