UPDATE: My boyfriend (34M) says he is unhappy living with me (27F) and feels anxious when I come home. I feel completely alone in our relationship. Can this still be fixed?
So this is an update to my previous post from just 3 weeks ago:

Since posting this, things have become very clear to me and I am no longer questioning whether this relationship can or should be fixed.
A few days ago, I discovered that he had again been sending explicit sexual messages to another woman while he was abroad for work. This is not the first time. Early in our relationship, there were already issues with messaging other women, dating apps and broken trust. Back then, we talked about it and I chose to stay and try again.
This time, after confronting him, he admitted that the argument we had before he left became, in his words, “an easy excuse” for him to escape and engage in that behavior again.
What makes this even more painful is that for months, I felt that something was off. I felt the distance, the lack of honesty, the imbalance in effort. When I tried to bring this up, I was often dismissed. I was told I was overreacting, too much, “difficult”, or even made to feel like I was the problem.
Looking back now, I was not imagining things. My instincts were right.
There was a pattern of behavior that kept repeating, and instead of being addressed, it was minimized or turned back onto me.
I am angry. Not just because of what he did, but because I stayed, tried, worked on myself, and kept believing things could improve…. while the same boundaries kept being crossed.
I packed my things and left.
I still care about him, which makes this incredibly painful. But I no longer doubt my decision. This is not something I can or want to keep working through.
Some things are not about trying harder. Some things are about recognizing a pattern and choosing to walk away from it.
**TL;DR:** He broke my trust again by sending explicit messages to another woman. After giving him a second chance and being made to feel like I was the problem, I realized my instincts were right. I left. I’m done.
