Army here this shit sucks. The asu's and ocp's are rough as fuck and that poor dude lost skin off his nose. Also dudes legs vs women's legs whole different ball game. Them thick thighs will make your arms cry.

My buddy was a san Diego Marine. He said they couldn't even look in the direction of the female trainees without getting yelled at. But that was like 20 years ago, maybe times have changed.
Yeh, we east coast Marines like to jab at the Hollywood Marines.. But yes we were told not to look at them and to imagine a bulldog eating mayonnaise! Sorry not PC but has stuck with me ;)
Man, we couldn't even acknowledge FM's existing on PI back in '88. Wasn't until I got to Camp LeJeune for PFR School that I actually saw one up-close.... 🤣
When i was with the wing at New River, across from Lejeune, I saw plenty of guys with this haircut. Sometimes I couldn't distinguish one guy from another.

This is a legit exercise that has been in the USMC a long time. Squad Push-Ups, usually reserved only for the most heinous and cruel PTs. I assure you the guy second from the front is not having as much fun as you think he is!
Looks like they got dropped. Pushups as punishment. They have their feet on the next person’s shoulders to add resistance and reinforce teamwork as they all have to go up and down at the same time.
In basic training a group of four of us got dropped like this. But the drill made us form a square. Not a single line like this video.
This is likely MAI (martial arts instructor) course. Very few Marines are permitted to wear black shirts in uniform, and red tabs instructing MCMAP are one of them. Red tabs can train tan tabs. Tan tabs can train anyone else.
MAI course is like 8 hours of PT and 2-4 hours of learning daily for a month. It's grueling.
The reason this is happening is she is literally weak in her knees so she scooted back towards him so her thighs rest on his shoulders instead of her calfs as the other are doing.
It isnt the right answer. No such thing as weak in the knees, muscle keep your legs straight not the joint. Others dont have their calf on the others shoulder but their shin. The girl having her thighs on the 2nd guys shoulder is because she is weak in her core mucles and this way she is basically shortening the leverage(lever) making the plank easier.
If this is an ad for joining the military, it definetly got me more interested than anything else I've seen. Ready to die for that! Gimee the papers, my uniform and my cream! Let's do this!
