This is a legit exercise that has been in the USMC a long time. Squad Push-Ups, usually reserved only for the most heinous and cruel PTs. I assure you the guy second from the front is not having as much fun as you think he is!

fire team pushups are where you have 4 people in a square. I argue those are worse than squad pushups

Depends on who you're stuck with. With squad pushups you had to wait for everyone to be ready. The square ones you can more easily motivate each other (or just yell at each other lol)
