This is a legit exercise that has been in the USMC a long time. Squad Push-Ups, usually reserved only for the most heinous and cruel PTs. I assure you the guy second from the front is not having as much fun as you think he is!

They had our whole platoon do of these in a big circle once.

It was like a human coliseum / stone henge of pain.
