That link that I replied to says that it's banned. When I close the modal it takes me back to the homepage.

Oh, this is weird. I just viewed it in the browser and now I see it as a video. It shows as a link in the Sync for Reddit app, and if I click it then it says that it's a banned subreddit like the screenshot that I shared. I guess it's probably because Reddit didn't even have video comments when support for Sync stopped. I'm glad that I figured that out since it has been confusing me for a while now how people were seeing content on banned subreddits. They could obviously see something that I couldn't see based on responses. It's because it's a video comment. Mystery solved. Thanks for helping.
