Megathread Physical Collections Megathread | July 4th 2026
Hey everyone 👋
I thought it would be good for us who still buy primarily physical media, and for the collectors amongst you to share their PlayStation gear. Whether you've been collecting since generation 1 or the most recent, there remains an undeniable joy in buying and really owning media that delivers such cultural impact. If it's really going, it'll be something I personally miss immensely.
In case anyone needs a refresh on where they started:
https://www.ign.com/articles/all-playstation-console-release-dates-in-order
Realising it's hard with single-image comments but it'll be good to see how varied our collections are in a single thread.
Thanks again for your support, the last few days haven't been fun and community matters when seismic events happen.

Discussion Lately I’ve realized I’ve been enjoying gaming way more by myself than I do with my friends.
I used to hop in party chat almost every time I got online, but recently I don’t even bother anymore. It’s actually been relaxing just playing at my own pace, listening to the game, and not feeling like I have to play whatever everyone else wants.
The biggest reason is that my friends only ever want to play Marvel Rivals, and the weird part is they spend the whole session complaining about it. Every match is just complaining about balance, teammates, matchmaking, or whatever else. If you’re not having fun, why are we still playing it every night?
Meanwhile I’ve been having a blast working through single-player games and older titles I never got around to. It honestly reminded me why I enjoy gaming in the first place.

Discussion Things I’ll miss most when we go to all digital.. post your deluxe collections.
I don’t have alot of physical but when I do it’s for the artwork for me. I realize when we go all digital we won’t get the deluxe sets anymore, which means no more artbooks, steel books, sound tracks, the extra stuff you buy when you have deluxe, I only have 2 games I was lucky enough to get when they had the deluxe option.

Discussion From broken to working
So I bought a PS4 slim off Facebook marketplace. I was told the hard drive was toast and I would need to buy a new one. So I did, and the hard drive wouldn't work. Something about a mismatched daughter daughterboard or something. Anyway, I managed to get it working with the original HDD that came with it. I have brought the PS4 slim back from the dead. My question is, how do I delete accounts on here?

Image Today i bought a PS5 Pro
So today i decided it was time to take the PS4 Pro off the table and replace it with a PS5 Pro. Not going to lie, i'm a bit of a larper and the only reason i even got it was to play GTA 6 once it releases, i will still try to make the most of it while i'm at it tho. So, i next i plan on getting AC Black Flag and FC27 (Ew i know) once it releases to give the thing some action. I'm also rethinking going back to the store and picking up a disc module for the giggles.

Discussion Best budget wireless headset for PS5 around 50-60€?
Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a good budget wireless headset for my PS5. My budget is around 50-60€.
Right now, I’m mainly considering:
Logitech G435
Turtle Beach Stealth 500
HyperX Cloud Stinger 2 Wireless
MCHOSE V9 Pro
All of them are currently in this price range.
I’m a bit worried about the Logitech G435 because I’ve heard that the microphone quality might not be the best.
Currently, I’m using the Gaming X Trust Forta Gaming Headset for PS5. Unfortunately, it is wired and, at least in my opinion, not very lightweight, so I get headaches after a few hours of gaming.
My main priorities are a decent microphone, good sound quality for gaming, and a headset that is reliable enough to last several years.
I don’t care too much about premium materials, but I would like something that doesn’t break quickly and that I can use for around 5 years.
What headsets do you use, and do you have any experience with the models mentioned above? Which one would you recommend?
Thanks!
