I was today years old when I discovered this while using the logo for a small project of mine. Not important but fun to know!

because i know you're out there. it's impossible that absolutely everybody online is a perfect, clean driver that just wants to race fair, frustrated by such petty driving. some of you are out there.

what do you gain from this? why do you do it? is this fun for you? i really need to know

First time i ever played a simracer online. I play with psvr2.

When the race started i was so nervous. Can't remember that ever happend.

I didn't crash anybody, got no penalties, i am happy :)

Maybe it is normal in modern racing games (I only play GT7), but I find it a bit odd that when you look to the sides in the bumper cam, the mirror will show the opposite side. I don't play online, is it of any use there for you guys?

And how long did it take you to realize? For me it was something like half a year or so

It's been eight years since my wife and I moved here, and our older games were in boxes for a long time. Have the makings of a game room going in our basement, and finally at the point with shelving, renos and life in general that I can enjoy it a bit. Just picked up a small CRT for it last weekend. I have access to most mainstream consoles from NES onwards, but my first pick was to hook up the PS2. I think that absolutely speaks to the strength of the console for me. Gran Turismo 4 was still inside so figured why not continue?

I couldn't find my old save, so I started a new one. Going to see how far I can get using one car as long as possible with as little mods as possible. I'm only passable at these games so this is probably going to be hard for me 😅 but it's one of the things missing from GT7 - the freedom to experience the single player portion of the game as you want. My wife pointed out it's like how people play Skyrim over and over again in different permutations and I can finally relate to those players.

This run with the Civic has been challenging but fun so far. On the flip side, GT7 and the weekly time trials has really encouraged me to figure out races versus just spending credits to have a faster car. My younger self would have definitely modded the Civic and blown the doors off everything. It's rewarding engaging with a other GT in a different way.

The old PS2 Slim needed needed a few extra beats to get started, but it still got there after the first try. Unboxing it reminded me of 15-20 years ago when it was a faithful companion to me when going to and from university. Let the whole intro play and bopped along to Panama. The nostalgia hit me in a wave of photons and I happily drowned in it. With Sony going digital only in the future, moments like this will be harder to feel. Actual game ownership allows this, to let you engage with games on your terms. Long live physical media!

Hey guys! I recently got a 1:29.766 with the 787b on controller, and after looking at some previous reddit posts, it seems the lap times used to be quite a lot faster.

I was just curious, which update changed the lap times and how?

I'm enjoying my time with the Toyota Sports 800 and Goodwood Raceway. It's an oddly pretty car.

One of the hardest parts of this shoot was getting the exposure right. The photos looked much brighter on my 4K HDR TV, but once I checked them on my phone, they looked way darker than I expected.

The headlights were also a pain in the ass 😭 Every time I raised the exposure enough to bring back detail in the car and the wet track, they started blowing out completely. I tried to keep the rainy atmosphere without turning the headlights into two giant white spots.

Still figuring out the right balance, but I’m pretty happy with how these turned out.

The developers are creating improvements and upgrades to the mod; the F1 cars need to have fully adjustable suspensions to avoid errors and skidding. Let's hope there are more new cars in the GT300 and GT500 classes!

Started the week not particularly enjoying Race C but it's grown more on me after approaching it in a touring car way.

So, here are 3 tribute/recreation liveries from BTCC. Did two tonight and one last night, by far the easiest type of livery to do but there's something therapeutic about this paint by numbers kind of livery.

Alpine A110 Future, Now available on Gran turismo 7 : ici

Hey everyone,

GT1 was one of my first ever games and I've been a huge fan of the series since. I've played every single game and recently have been replaying GT4 yet again.

I'm wondering, how does GT7 compare to it? Is there a progression type single player where I feel each car is a huge milestone? Is the used car dealership as cool and vast? Are the races / licences challenging in there own right? Does the game have a bunch of shitboxes that compete in the early game with me?

Basically, if I enjoyed GT4's single player, is GT7's a huge upgrade on it or not and can you please tell me why?

Just had another crack at the power pack 1000hp race at deep forest in the lambo after a disastrous first attempt, the video is of the last two laps where I felt things were coming together, and my driving was improving.
