Incredibly random thought I had recently… If freeways can have rumble strips along the side warning drivers against drifting onto the shoulder, why on earth don’t we use that bare-minimum technique to ”separate” painted bike lanes on the road from car traffic?

Does anyone have any experience with this? Or maybe it’s a bad idea for some reason that I’m not aware of?

Seems like an easy add when roads are getting repaved if cities still insist on paint as infrastructure!

Looking to buy a new road bike, have a 52 cm felt f80, works fine but is a bit small for me, 5'8" ish, giving it to my gf so we can ride together. Was looking at this 55cm Bianchi Via Narone on marketplace, got the guy down to $250. Good buy? From my research its a bit older, think its a 6000-series frame, carbon fork, not sure about the group set, getting more pics tonight. Any advice appreciated. see pics

I'm looking to buy the Trek FX as some sort of starter bike. Goal is for exercise and ride around town (and maybe the neighboring towns). I dont really want anything fancy right now as a beginner. I live in the Netherlands, so we have some pretty good cycling paths/infrastructure. I just want some chill fitness rides, maybe max 20-30km for now.

I'm looking to buy a bike for my daughter's birthday on FB marketplace and know nothing about bicycles. She rides around the neighborhood (no serious road biking) max round trip is about 2 or 3 miles. She is 5'5" but still growing. I don't want to spend more than $200.

These are the bikes I'm seeing listed in my area:

1) Trek 800 Antelope – Vintage MTB – 26” wheels Medium frame, New chain, grips, pedals, saddle $145

2) Early 80's Schwinn Traveler. Size small. In great shape and should be ready to ride. My wife had it built up about 10 years ago and never really rode it. - $125

I want to ride my bike with a dslr camera strapped around my neck so that I can grab quick shots on the go. Is there a way you recommend to have the camera at the ready beyond just slinging the strap over one's neck where it will swing around chaotically and be a troublesome burden?

I’m looking at buying my first road bike and found this Specialized Roubaix on Facebook Marketplace for $900.
I’m around 5’8” with a 32” inseam, so I’m also wondering if 54cm is the right size or if I should be looking for something different.

I’m repainting a large sized hardtail mtb, and was wondering how many cans of Spraymax 2K I needed. I heard this stuff was the best but it is pretty expensive. I bought two cans of primer and paint already and was looking to see how much of this I needed. Thanks!
