Question/Discussion What’s the record amount of journals you’ve completed in one year?
For me it’s gotta be 2025 when I completed 10 journals. In 2023 I completed 7 and 2022 was about 8.
As of now it’s July 2026 and I am already on my 10th journal…

Question/Discussion Hey so I wanna recap my past year. How do I do that?
So basically, I've been depressed for the past year and I recently found myself again and want to write about everything that has happened to me the past year? How do I do that? Memoir form? Recaping months and days? Rewriting past journal entries in a new journal?
I've done so much stuff I want to write down. The time I ran into a burning building with my friend. The time I got chased by a drug dealer. The time I got mistaken for someone else and hid from the cops. Etc.

Journal collection 30 years of journals
Got a wild hair a few weeks ago to pull out all my journals and get a photo of them spine up. Forty-three* volumes starting from when I was 14.
*technically more than that as all my Livejournal entries from 2002-07 are printed and Coptic-stitch bound here as well.

Question/Discussion Journaling spiraling thoughts
Hi everyone, I'm experiencing negative thoughts that tend to spiral and I don't notice until I'm pretty far into it and they have significantly derailed my day and brought down my mood. It's not fun. I'm getting better at identifying spirals earlier though, and would like to use journaling to help me through it. I usually do stream of consciousness journaling and that works really well for me, but I was wondering if for this situation, a more structured approach might be better to rein in my thoughts and give them some boundaries.
I have looked and found some prompts I would like to use, but I'm usually best at adapting what worked for others to suit my needs. So if you've ever used journaling to help with spiraling thoughts and calm your brain down by asking specific questions, it would be great if you could let me know about how you went about it, so I can draw from that.
Thanks!

Question/Discussion Does anyone journal daily in a regular sized Galen Everyday?
Am I crazy to do this? I have only been journaling just under a month and there is a part of me that thinks I should move to something larger but there is another part of me that is enjoying being constricted to this size and finding ways to work within it. But because they only have 135 pages each, even if I keep each entry to a single page, that’s several notebooks per year.

Just sharing I’ve been into mini journals lately.
I don’t feel the need to fill a whole full page, but I can write multiple pages if I need to. It’s easier for me to express my thought and not worry about presentation this way.

Question/Discussion Table of Contents Pages
I just recently got a notebook and there are about 4 pages that are for table of contents. I’m wondering if anyone has some ideas of what to put there. I was thinking maybe just sticker bombing them or something. Maybe someone else has some better more creative takes! Thanks in advance!
