When I see people asking for suggestions for good games to get before the end of the PS3 store, I see a lot of people telling them to just pirate games or such as a way to stick it to Sony. To these people I would like to make some points.

1. Some people do view piracy as wrong and its stealing. That's their moral choice and they shouldn't be told to break it.

2. Some people may just few being the one person who might get in legal trouble from pirating.

3. They might not want to support Sony, but would still rather pay to support the makers of the game in some fashion.

4. Maybe they haven't done these things before and are afraid of either downloading some form of malware, or damaging their console.

If you are going to pirate or jailbreak, I'm not going to stop you. If you choose not too, I support your decision.

about four days ago I have jailbroken my PS3 Super Slim with PS3HEN (as seen in my previous post), since then I decided to put some games on it, and dear god I don't think I can go back.

currently I have installed some games that I never heard of before when I bought the console two weeks ago, and those games being Gran Turismo HD Concept (which I found out is a tech demo rather than a "full game" but I find it insanely fun), Gran Turismo 6 (an actual full game which I'm assuming is part of the series, I have never had this much fun in a Sim racing game before even compared to Gran Turismo HD Concept), Black Ops 3 (aight no this one made me a bit disappointed because there is no campaign or split screen in the multiplayer and only one zombies map available which made me download the DLC but other than that its not that bad for me just a bit disappointing) ,N.O.V.A (it is a "minis" title but its still a fun game), and NFS Most Wanted (I know, Its a PS2 game so I'm running the game via the PS2 Classic version which I got from PKGi, but the game is still insanely fun for an arcade racing game)

Feel free to recommend me any other PS3 games for me to play on my jailbroken console because I don't feel like going back to the stock state of the console anytime soon.

I haven’t done it because I got all the games I want in physical, I really don’t see any necessity to do it but maybe I’m missing something.

Just as downloading a free PDF of any book whose author has died, whose rights have expired, and from which no one has any way of making money is acceptable, so is piracy in this particular context.

If something digital is not available for sale, then you can obviously pirate it. The fact that it is not available for sale means that the company is done with the product and understands that they won't see any profit from it.

Pirating the PS3, which at this point is a 20 year old retro console with no digital way to buy new games, is akin to video game preservation—which is an art rather than piracy—providing a way for future generations to play old games to see what they were like.

Now if we're talking about PS4 and PS5, piracy on THAT would be stealing as those consoles are still current.

So the PS3 store is going to close down very soon. No PS3 hardware is being produced. Existing hardware, such as original Sony-authored controllers, is becoming rarer. Also, the hardware is suffering failures. No new games are coming out.

-Batlefield 4 (He didn't let me play)

-The Walking Dead

-Assasin's Creed (He had two of those games, one was Black Flag and I can't remember the other one)

-The Kong Fu Panda fightning game (Can't remember the name)

I have alot of memories with those games but sadly we lost the console years ago and to this day we dont know where it is

Hi, I want to play all spider man games and get the platinum on each one, the problem is that they are no longer available on the store and the discs are expensive and not even in my country. I only have the amazing spider man 1.

Is there a way to download the games legally? Like is there a website that sells ps3 accounts containing these games? Or any other way that is not too expensive?

I have all those PS3 games and a PlayStation 3 Slim. The console isn’t reading any discs but other than that it’s in perfect condition. Pretty much every game I try has given me a black screen. Grand turismo 5 worked. Do I need to enable some game settings within webman to make them compatible? I did enable BD mirror. If anyone has any tips it would be highly appreciated. Havent touched a PS3 in 10 years. Console is a CECH2501B running evilnat 4.93 CFW CEX. Not sure if it's my firmware or what. I do not not remember having so many issues when I was running rebug firmware. Any idea wtf is going on? Thanks for reading my post! :)

I bought this on Ali express i don't know what happened to the disc drive

I wanted to play NFS Most Wanted on my jailbroken PS3, but the controller sensitivity is way too high. I barely touch the analog stick and the car oversteers like crazy. Honestly, I can't play anything from my PS2 library because of it.

I'm using an original DualShock 3 and there's no stick drift. I haven't changed any PS2-related settings in webMAN either. I was testing my second DualShock 3 as well.

I recently bought this ps3 and it's screen keeps flickering and blacks out in btw, how do I fix this issue, I really want to play on ps3!

I also tried connecting it to my Samsung tv (it was having issue then too, It blacked out after press the ps button to let it flow audio and visuals screen)

I then attached it to my monitor and it worked out but the game screens are flickering what do i do please help
