Euphoria I went to a shopping mall wearing a dress… it went different than I expected
I went to a shopping mall wearing a VERY feminine outfit. Lavender floral dress with puffy sleeves (I LOVE those sleeves), feminine hat, glasses, heeled boots, the works really. Even though I live in an area that is considered quite queer-friendly, I expected to get looks. I’m not on HRT, but other than barely visible chin hair and no more mustache hair than a cis woman would have, and I think I pass pretty well. I surprisingly didn’t get any strange looks, though. Anyone who paid any mind to me smiled, other than a few people. A store I’m at a decent amount of time every few months has a really nice employee who complimented my lavender-covered outfit. The topping on the cake, though: a guy who runs one of those hair stands in the hall of the shopping mall said “excuse me, ma’am“ and asked me if I wanted my hair done. ”Ma’am”! He called me ma’am!!! I felt so good.
Edit: So many of you have congratulated me and been so nice! Thank all of you!
