Ukrainian drones struck the Russian Wildberries distribution center

I wonder for how long Putin will still want war, Russia is falling apart
•
u/Jizzbuscuit 4m ago
He didn’t want war! He simply wanted to sell his countries resources, to Europe and China.
Who’s the biggest net exporter of oil and gas because that is your answer. Ukraine is a proxy•
•
u/renz88xo 5m ago
When has he ever wanted war if I may ask? I give you permission to stay quiet
•
u/Grand-Ice-6603 0m ago
Are you a bot? What kind of response is "I give you permission to stay quiet"
•
u/Heckbound_Heart 2m ago
I don’t think anyone wants war, including Putin… he wants the countries he’s invading to acquiesce peacefully.
The countries he’s trying to invade don’t war either, but one has to defend themselves from invasion.

Putin says that he decided to burn this area for the glory of russia or something.

I just feel bad for the civilians who didn’t have a choice to join this war and get killed for what?
•
u/Abject_Screen3249 0m ago
Don't feel bad for them. A large percentage of them support Putin and his efforts.
•
u/bo77om 1m ago
they have lots of choices - they choose to stay silent, support the system they live in, and hate ob everyone who lives better.
and now we should pity them?? for what? for the fact that the war they started, the war they wanted so eagerly and desperately, now this war is knocking at their door???
beach please
•
u/Will_X_Intent 3m ago
They are culpable for their leadership. Russians have overthrown their oppressors before. They need to do it again.
•
u/jumpinjimmie 1m ago
Except this time not let the new regime pick back up where the old Stalin regime left off.

Another beautiful part of the earth on fire. 🎖️
•
u/Highlandertr3 14m ago
Are warehouses particularly beautiful?
•
u/cjd166 11m ago
Are they not? They why build them? Why did you build it there if it makes the ground under it worth less?
•
u/Highlandertr3 6m ago
Well now hold on. Very different metrics there. Beauty is an aesthetic. Worth and value are not the same thing at all.
•
u/Payaam415 19m ago
For some reason it looks fake to me or AI enhanced

It probably has a filter applied to it which are largely using AI for automated editing/enhancement these days.

Is this the second Wildberries warehouse they've hit? Could've sworn this happened a week or 2 ago.
Edit: Yeah I knew I read about it last week.

“It marks the second attack on Wildberries facilities in less than a week.”
Second paragraph in the article.
•
u/Sad_Maximum6583 23m ago
I only had seen the pictures and OP description before looking for my article then saw the pinned comment. Thank you!
•
•
u/chumbubbles 31m ago
This campaign by Ukraine reminds me of Sherman’s march where breaking the will of the people to continue the war was the main motivation. Not as much about direct battles vs. sapping the will of the civilian population.
•
u/Space-Turtle88 21m ago
They are distributing military gear and supplies through wild berries warehouses. This is how most soldiers get their gear.
•
u/Lardzor 34m ago
Wildberries is the Russian version of Amazon.
•
•
u/gogogumdrops 18m ago
“President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that the hubs store dual-use, sanctioned components for drone production and navigation systems.” link
•
u/filth_horror_glamor 24m ago
Ok that makes so much more sense than what i was imagining, especially after hearing it was the SECOND wildberries facility hit
•
u/Ok_Transition_4003 31m ago
Where to get vodka and cigarette
•
u/RecognitionOk9731 20m ago
And drone components and navigation equipment for the Russian military.
•
•
u/hvmbone 39m ago
Why the fuck am I recycling
•
u/Alienturnedhuman 31m ago
Because the collective effort of billions people makes the effect of even massive carbon events like this look like a rounding error.
IE: billions of people doing something small constantly is significantly larger than than infrequent large events.
•
u/Comfortable-Bison932 20m ago
Recycling is literally not happening. 97% of things you put in the recycling bin end up in the ocean or burned. It's literally a scam by companies that make plastic to make people agree to buy more
•
u/Alienturnedhuman 17m ago
Who said anything about plastic recycling. Aluminium recycling is the biggest winner.
•
•
u/No_Animator_6989 35m ago
Lmao! I ask myself the same thing. Stuff like this is happening all over the world with every government.
•
•
•
u/Ok_Cheetah_6251 42m ago
I like this for them, maybe this will pressure the people to stand up and remove Putin and stop the war in Ukraine.
•
u/GreypubedLion 23m ago
Are you kidding, right? That's the country where you send a private message to your friend where you say something not pleasant for the government - within an hour you'll be in the FSB basement tortured by the soldering iron 🤗
•
•
u/rickthedickkk 46m ago
reddit are celebrating civilian deaths now?
•
u/RecognitionOk9731 18m ago
Who celebrated? War sucks, but Russia can stop it tomorrow.
Russians should be out marching in the streets. Instead they sit back and do nothing.
•

•
u/stonecuttercolorado 36m ago
These logistics hubs have been used by the military. That makes them legitimate targets.
If a facility directly supports the russian military, it is a legitimate target. That includes but is not limited to factories and logistic systems.
Trucks trains and ships are legitimate targets.
Roads and bridges essential to transport personnel equipment and material are legitimate targets.
All oil and gas infrastructure is legitimate due to its critical importance to both military activity and the government funding.
•
u/generaldoodle 28m ago
These logistics hubs have been used by the military
These are online marketplace hubs, they are not connected to the military in any way.
•
u/stonecuttercolorado 8m ago
Except they have also been used by the military.
•
u/generaldoodle 8m ago
Any proof of this?
•
u/stonecuttercolorado 6m ago
As was said separately, they literally sell military equipment that soldiers can and do order.
•
u/generaldoodle 3m ago
They literally don't sell military equipment. Can you provide link to product listing of military equipment on Wildberries?
•
u/Space-Turtle88 19m ago
Wrong. They advertise military equipment, drones, and drone supplies for sale on their website and it's the major way most soldiers get their gear.
Educate yourself, unless you're intentionally spreading lies.
•
u/rickthedickkk 32m ago
If a facility directly supports the russian military,
as if russian people get to say anyhing about it lmfao.
•
•
u/dylan_lol000 22m ago
And? It's a legitimate target, that doesn't mean the civilians deserved to die but it also doesn't make Ukraine wrong for destroying it and killing them
•
•
u/Ratherbeeatingpizza 43m ago
As Russians have been for 5 years.
•
u/rickthedickkk 41m ago
but I thought you were the good ones??
•
u/cure4boneitis 32m ago
I have never seen Ratherbeeatingpizza attack any civilians
•
u/rickthedickkk 32m ago
you know him?
•
u/cure4boneitis 2m ago
not personally but I did a quick check of their posts and didn’t see any about murder
•
•
u/Kalimnos 47m ago
Boy the Russian people have to be tired of this pointless war.
•
•
u/Comfortable-Bison932 18m ago
They are. Even in the polls that are made by the government people are saying they just want this to end. Soldiers are deserting. But Putin won't stop until his entire country is in flames
•
u/nobolognastoney 22m ago
You'd think. There's a surprising number of people still "Counting on Putin to figure it out" or something to that affect.
•
•
u/Timely-Youth-9074 33m ago
They ought to be but the Russian government has been propaganda masters for hundreds of years.
•
u/Comfortable-Bison932 16m ago
No amount of propaganda is going to stop people from being mad when they can't afford food, don't have electricity and their friends and family are dying. People want this war to end. But the government will continue it for as long as humanly possible
•
u/Top_Astronomer3087 46m ago
Basically everyone’s tired of this war
•
u/Erik_BKQNMNBXSI 24m ago
Basically everyone’s tired of this war
But yet leaders of the world aren't doing enough to stop it.
India buys Russian gas.
Ireland supplies Russia with Aluminum raw materials to make more weapons.
US has long-since pulled all aid.
If you're tired about hearing about it, how do you think the Ukrainians feel getting peppers with missiles and drones every week?
Your boredom with the topic doesn't prevent daily death and destruction, it only perpetuates apathy. Please don't do that.
•
u/raging_possum 44m ago
The war and the posts about it.
•
u/Huge-Cartoonist6795 42m ago
I may be tired but I still listen attentively. The fact you don't cere speaks more about yourself than you'd like to admit
•
•
u/Jon_Dunn58 51m ago
i heard what they hit was a very large warehouse, something like an amazon warehouse and that zelynski fired the general in charge of the army over this
•
u/Njorls_Saga 46m ago
General Syrskyi’s dismissal had nothing to do with the warehouses being struck. The warehouses are being used as part of the Russian army logistics network. Syrskyi was fired because he was old school Soviet tactics and was disliked because of it. There are also corruption allegations swirling amongst the old guard of Ukraine…there’s an ongoing struggle between the new era coming up and the Soviet relics.
•
u/SNStains 39m ago
It's amazing to me that Ukraine has still managed some reforms while an invading army is attacking them. If they are that committed to reform, they should be fully-fledged EU members.
•
u/bigcantonesebelly 27m ago
Have you missed all the corruption which has been occurring still?
•
u/SNStains 25m ago
some reforms
As I said
•
u/bigcantonesebelly 23m ago
The reform seem to have just made it a different group of people though
•
u/SNStains 16m ago
I make no claims on them being finished. I admire the effort in a time of war, and with such shitty, murderous neighbors.
I also like that Zelensky's trying to bring Fedorov back due to popular demand. To me, it looks like he made a mistake and is correcting it. Democracies aren't perfect, but they are self-correcting, and Ukraine seems to be preparing for when the invaders go home.
•
u/Arcaneboltz 42m ago
pretty sure Ukraine was known for being one of the most corrupt countries in the world before the war started
•
u/HurtFeeFeez 36m ago
Unfortunately there was a bunch of russian influence in Ukraine creating that corruption problem. Part of the reason why Russia invaded was because the newly elected government in '22 was working hard on weeding it out.
•
u/bigcantonesebelly 26m ago
That's an oversimplification, they were weeding out Russian corruption as a competitor to their corruption, but it's still just as corrupt
•
u/screwyoujor 15m ago
What an asinine statement.
•
u/bigcantonesebelly 1m ago
Do expand please. The corruption still happening is just now from Zelensky's side of the aisle instead of from Russian loyalists.
•
•
u/Free_Under_Rice 49m ago
The two situations are not related but yes it’s essentially their Amazon.

Oh ya but rag on Canada for the forest fires and air pollution. Guess climate change only matters for the western world..
•
u/ladnakuba 42m ago
Don't anybody tell this guy about volcanoes.
•
u/Sign_Outside 40m ago
Don’t even get me started!!! Lousy climate changing brimstone spewing crap hills!!
•
•
•
u/PaulTheIV 56m ago
Perhaps Russia shouldn't be trying to take over Ukraine. Don't start shit you can't finish
•
u/Daedelus451 57m ago
WTAF, this guy has balls. How many innocent civilians in Ukraine have died in their beds sleeping when hypersonic missiles hit their apartment building? Here is what CEO said “ There are no words to describe all the feelings and emotions caused by the attacks on ordinary people, on our employees, on us, who are simply doing our jobs,” Kim wrote on Telegram.” What a complete ass.
•
u/Huge-Cartoonist6795 40m ago
What exactly is your complaint? That Ukraine struck a strategic target whereas russians bombs children?
•
u/SensitiveTax9432 9m ago
I don't think you read that post correctly. The CEO of Wildberries is complaining that ordinary people are dying for doing their jobs (supplying the war effort.)
•
u/X-Torn-Reviver-X 1h ago
Russia: "You know, I feel like invading this small country for no reason at all..."
Ukraine: "Execute Order 66"
•
•
•
u/Sad_Leg1091 1h ago
Couldn’t happen to a nicer country.
•
u/Jon_Dunn58 53m ago
its not the russian people, its the insane a hole in charge, the people are just like us for the most part, they just want to be able to live and be happy
•
u/Huge-Cartoonist6795 40m ago
The Russians want live on Ukrainian land, rob Ukrainian wealth and be happy*
•
u/rafapdc 48m ago
You obviously have not been to Russia or read/seen their news. Most Russians believe Ukraine to be enemies that should be eliminated. They also think the same of Americans.
•
u/UnknownBreadd 41m ago
Most people on Earth are indoctrinated and brainwashed by their governments. I still think that the citizens of the world are more than capable of coming together and embracing each other though, if we can put an end to the world order where we have special ‘political class’ individuals that constantly put nations/citizens against each other, out of self interest, rather than any sort of democratic mandate.
“I have a dream” where one day Russians and the rest of Europe’s citizens can be united, along with the rest of the world too.
•
u/morpheus9009 23m ago
Sometimes I reach the point of losing all hope in humanity when I read news about man-made atrocities and injustices, because I don't know if people will ever learn... That makes comments and statements from other people who think the same way all the more reassuring and heartening for me, and I have hope that this division will eventually come to an end. Hopefully Humanity will find together before the whole planet collapses 🤷🏼♂️
•
u/rafapdc 34m ago
I don’t disagree with you on any of that! I just think it’s not very realistic that humans will stop being tribalistic now. I really hope your dreams come true!
•
u/UnknownBreadd 11m ago
You and u/morpheus9009 should check out DemocracyNext on youtube. There are so many intelligent democratic innovators who are working hard on developing the systems and mechanisms to allow for better and fairer democratic governance - which should get rid of a lot of the obstacles that we have faced throughout history to creating a better world for all.
•
u/Rollover__Hazard 50m ago
Remember in WW2 when people said the German populace was complicit in their government’s actions by their own inaction?
Same thing here.
•
u/Mariusdiemakrele 37m ago
I feel for everyone who stood up against this war. We don't see much of it because everything that becomes public gets shut down within minutes.
But fuck everyone supporting this war.
As a German: fuck every German soldier and everyone who willingly supported Nazi Germany
Fuck everyone supporting Trump and his fascist USA.
Fuck everyone of those turds.
In general: fuck fascism, fuck nationalism, fuck imperialism, and fuck those fucking fuckers who are fucking our fucking world apart.

Based and very well said. From an English man very fond of Germany & her people.

I'm no Russia fan, but Ukraine is literally Nazi. We're watching two drunk assholes wrestling
•
u/Ratherbeeatingpizza 41m ago
Actually Russia is literally Nazi. The only difference is the gas chambers.
•
u/Njorls_Saga 45m ago
The far right candidate for president got roughly 2% of the vote in the last election. So no, Ukraine is not literally Nazi.
•
u/Cold_Hunter1768 24m ago
Why did Zelenskyy honor their Nazi past?
Why do they run Ukraine's military?
•
u/RedScareRevival 53m ago
I mean Ukraine is a pretty racist place from what I understand, but no worse than Poland for example.
It's hyperbolic and hysterical to call them Nazis. Nazis invade other countries and commit genocide.
•
u/Cold_Hunter1768 21m ago
Ukraine literally bombed their own citizens simply for being loyal to Russia
•
u/SNStains 54m ago
Ukraine is literally Nazi.
No, it's not. That's Russian propaganda for domestic consumption. How the fuck did you even come across that?
•
u/VanillaBovine 55m ago
last i checked, ukraine didnt invade a foreign nation and traffic its torture, execute, and traffic the captured civilians
russia did
•
u/Cold_Hunter1768 23m ago
Last I checked, Ukraine literally bombed their own citizens loyal to Russia prompting the invasion.
•
u/penguinkernel 57m ago
And one could argue that despite them both being assholes, it doesn't give one of them rights to hit the other without consent.
•
•
u/SNStains 52m ago
Ukraine has a right to defend itself from an invader. Sovereignty and self-defense are pretty simple ideas.
•
u/Cold_Hunter1768 20m ago
Ukraine started it, genius, by bombing their own citizens loyal to Russia
•
u/SNStains 9m ago
Ukraine started it, genius,
That's a lie. Russia can end it tonight by simply going home.
