Because the collective effort of billions people makes the effect of even massive carbon events like this look like a rounding error.

IE: billions of people doing something small constantly is significantly larger than than infrequent large events.

Recycling is literally not happening. 97% of things you put in the recycling bin end up in the ocean or burned. It's literally a scam by companies that make plastic to make people agree to buy more

Who said anything about plastic recycling. Aluminium recycling is the biggest winner.
