hey im a complete noob when it comes to linux and its OS ,but i love its idea and how much performance difference you get compared to windows. im really thinking to make the switch to zorin or even steam OS but i have no idea what the cons are, i know i will have issues because i have NVidia GPU and intel processor but want some advice and help. should i make the change also what issues should i expect (i use my pc mostly for gaming and some browsing )

I need a switch 1 oled sized mechanical keyboard. The standard keyboard size that is only missing the f keys fits fine for the size but the problem is the keyboard is much longer than the tablet. Do any of you have suggestions that can fit in my pocket but dont mess with the qwerty layout? I have another option but its scissor switch and i want it to last, i heard scissor switch doesnt last as long

first of all i'm from ALGERIA(north africa) so pretty much getting parts from outside is pretty complicated i need to stay withing our local market (unless it's a case)

secondly the market in here is pretty crazy some stuff that should be pricier is cheaper and the opposite is correct too

please any help any recommendations any stuff i should change anything that might be cheaper for a similar or better performance

Recently, I installed an NVMe in my pc. Now, I have said M.2 drive, a ssd and a hdd.

So, I went back to play AC Shadows, and started to heard a click and vibration from the pc. Through the glass, I saw the Hdd wire *move* regularly, like every 5 seconds. I tried others games, and this didn't happened.

Things to consider:

- I had to change the SATA port of both the ssd and hdd, because the nvme uses those 2

-AC is installed in my ssd, not the hdd

For now, I will open the pc and see if it could just be a faulty connection, but I'd also apreciate others insight.

I'm looking into building a new PC. I've listed some parts that I find suitable for me. Feel free to give any critiques or tips for me please! I also game only on 1080p since I don't have a 1440p monitor so I wanna know if this is a bit overkill for 1080p gaming.

I also want to know if buying a single stick of ram is a really bad choice. Should I get 32gb ddr4? Or stick with the single stick and potentially buy another in the near future?

I do play sometimes racing games or open world etc on my big 4K tv but not much

Online both the 7800xt and 9060xt are around 300ish

With the cheapest 9060xt 320 in my city and the cheapest 7800 for 350

I need help with figuring out what card to get. I have most of my parts ready, just need the power supply to ship, have to pick up my 4TB storage card and then purchase a GPU.

I got a 1000 bucks for my birthday and Xmas early and want to get a card. I was looking between the 5070TI and 5080, but every google thing says 5070TI is the way to go from price/performance.

So thats what im going to get, but I type in GTX 5070 and a ton of options pop up. I love MSI stuff, as thats my motherboard and my case, and have bought stuff from them pre built cause they've treated me right, but, PNY seems to be very popular. So what am I looking for when I purchase a GPU so I can get my moneys worth? Can I have some recommendations and reasons for such recommendations?

I bought this like 2 years ago never used it. Then decided to put it in my PC. Didn’t have issues with it till about a week or so ago. Was going in and out. No the whole drive won’t let me read or write to it for steam. So went to pull it apart and check the thermal pad. Am I crazy or does this look like thermal paste? Also curious if the M.2 is shot or not now because it got to hot? Or could I clean it and put new thermal pads on it?

I have found out that all my tests fully prove it's a hardware issue, not software, and changing BIOS settings, updating BIOS, and even using a different operating system haven't solved the USB file transfer issues to MTP devices like my Android phones.

I mainly use my PC for gaming and I'm looking for the best value upgrade. I'm currently considering the Ryzen 7 7800X3D, but I've also heard that Intel might be a better option, so I'm open to suggestions if there's a better choice.

My budget is around $900 (3500 PLN), but I'm willing to spend a little more if it's worth it.

The games I play the most:

• Path of Exile 1 & 2
• Deadlock
• Overwatch 2
• Marvel Rivals
• F1 and other racing sims

Hi! I found what I think to be a good deal on CeX, a used AMD Ryzen 5 9600X for 150eur. Seeing as it comes from CeX it comes with 5 year warranty.

I also found the same cpu but New on Amazon for 184eur.

My question is, is it worth it to buy the used one? Or should I not take the risk over 34 euros?

I want to put three reverse fans on the bottom of my case, two reverse fan on the side of my case, and one fan on the back. my question is will i need a fan hub? will my motherboard support all this? Since the fans im using are called argb, will it work with my build? Im trying get an all white build with case fans that are white, rgb, infinity mirror, and has daisy chains. I tried to find answers but i couldnt find any. I just dont want to get all the parts and realize my case fans arent gonna work. its my first time building a pc. Literally the last thing im getting, if someone has other recommendations that would be great but im trying not to spend more than 80 dollars for all 6 case fans.

Hi dudes, looking for some opinions.

I'm based in Croatia, so i'm expecting to order most of my stuff from German sites if local isn't possible.

Trying to build a pc that costs somewhere around €900 to €1200, would prefer if it was as low as possible of course (€1000+ range, dont mind going a little over the budget though), while still maintaining pretty good performance.

Don't really play any super demanding AAA games, I mostly play indie and rhythm games along with the occasional league of legends, valorant and overwatch.

Aside from gaming, I do digital art (on a pen display connected to the pc) using programs like (mainly) krita and blender.

I'd prefer if the GPU wasn't NVIDIA.

As for aesthetics, white would be ideal, though it gets pretty expensive. I dont mind going for black if it saves a significant amount of €.

I really enjoy the look of the mid-tower tempered glass cases and have built in one in the past, i'd like to own one again.
