Question Does jerking off without watching porn count as a fap

Self control is power and everytime I watch porn
It’s for that
It’s high testosterone gangbangs & lesbian predators
Like phoenix Marie penny barber Leigh raven
Of bullying rough housing verbal abuse and control over a woman
That’s not reality at all
I saw a lady on yt dr tish I recommend her for us all
She said until you rewire what got you to this point
You’ll never change
& it’s time for me to change I’m 31
I have good days and bad but it don’t have to be uglg
With the abuse of porn to feel powerful
The best you can get out of to let it go is the attraction you can emulate yourself
Work on your body get tattoos you feel are attractive
Be more blunt and aggressive but do it to empower yourself
Not to be powerless or powerful over others

I understand people can have varying results, and some people whp were already disciplined and not addicted to pmo will not see a lot of benefits from nofap, but why is it the first thing i get when i type "nofap" on reddit ?
i though it was a coincidence but when i searched in communities, i couldnt find find this sub, the one with 200k followers.

I didn't think fapping once every 2-3 days meant a porn addiction, until my sex life died in both my two long-term relationships (7&5-year relationships), and almost destroyed my current one. I can't imagine life without my now-fiancée.
My partners have always wanted sex, but I eventually stopped wanting it with them, and I knew it wasn't truly their problem.
Porn and masturbation always felt easier - I had long lost interest in foreplay and sexual intimacy with my partners. But I know I love my current partner with all my heart - yet the issue remained. What's wrong with me? How do some men still manage healthy sex lives with their long-term partners? This can't be normal.
For over a decade, I avoided seeking help, and kept thinking it would one day fix itself. They always said masturbating was healthy, and we shouldn't limit ourselves to porn. This was all wrong, and shouldn't be avoided at all.
At the end, I always couldn't help but seek out novelty - other women. Luckily, this time, it was just sexting with another woman, and I stopped it before it went anywhere else. But this could have ended it with my soulmate for good. I never would've forgiven myself.
Through therapy, I am convinced now that porn is a major cause of all these issues. Porn since a young age has wired my brain wrong with unrealistic expectations to be satisfied. Please don't hurt the ones that you love, and love you back. This is day 3 of nofap, and may the healing begin.
I feel so empty whenever I finished masterbuating do yall truly know what to is happen and how I could stop trying to masterbuate again.
And whenever I masterbuate once and lose my streak it just ends up me masterbuating tons of times in the day

I am noting everytime whenever i relapse after noting it from January 2025 this is my relapse list this year from February. Note how I came from 5-6 days frequent relapse to 15 days average gap. Today is my day 17 and i am feeling really energetic and motivated, closer to my God and feeling a sense of proud in myself. It is not just about counting days but it is about questioning each relapse and acknowledging the pattern. In short this is one of the ways I would recommend to anyone to get rid of that curse

Daily check in. A very active day. After breakfast, I got on my bike and went to the gym. After a hard workout, I did a 25 km bike ride. I came home to relax and play World of Warcraft. I'm still standing!

hi is the first time that i write a post here i'm a 17 years old european guy. acutally i never liked to watch porn but somehow i get fool with it it's a big waste of time and energies, i wonder why i should watch that is non even a pleasure touching yourself even when you do that while watching a video of a hot girl throught a screen. i did that almost never in this year in january february and march 0 times and after sometimes i relapsed like 5 times per month. i don't have problems for talking with the girls i never sexualised a girl that i know in real life or whatever i'm not even ugly or shy. when i'm upset or is a bad day and i relapse i think is not a problem this is a shitty day, but i do that also when is going all well and the porn steal my happiness. today i did that 2 times and after the first i went to make a walk and i thought now i have just to go back to the right things on persuiting my career watching good videos and not that shit i think also that it's boring to watch porn. i knew a good amount of attractive girls that i noticed that they are attracted to me and probably one felt in love of me. i never had a girlfriend yet but for me is not a problem. for me the right sexuality has ever been hided i mean to appreciate a beautiful girl without thinking "i wish to put my dick in her mouth". what do you think any question?

Last week I started no masturbation no porn
But today I failed I edge for like 3 hours then I received control of myself I stopped now I feel unwell physical and mentally even in my stomach since I have acid reflux this edge make it worse
My question is should I ejaculate or just like continue this feelings go away?
Also I have anxiety now thinking about where's semen now since I didn't ejaculate will it be harmful for my body if just stay somewhere else instead where it should be like in urethra?
Also when I stop edging and go bathroom I forced myself to pop then I noticed little sperm coming out it wasn't anything near like when I ejaculated
I'm safe now or should I ejaculate?

I'm not sure if it's because of fatigue or NoFap.
Before I start, I'm on day 24. On day 18 I did relapse. After that I didn't, and I don't even get much mood or urges.
Here are few things improved:
I started exercising because of NoFap. If I'm working from home I exercise throughout the day. If office then morning and evening. No gym, just full body workouts at home and different push up variations from time to time. In just 1 month my body changed a lot.
I added more protein. My diet was already good. My body is lean now but it has muscle.
My self esteem improved. Talking to people and women is much easier. I had two presentations in office and I nailed both of them.
I was single for a long time and always thought I would remain single. Now I'm actually looking for a potential partner. Things are much clearer.
Anxiety and depression improved.
I don't feel shame anymore. I talk with confidence and it shows on my face. Got compliments from multiple women in office, not just 1 or 2 but many.
Brain fog is gone. Sleep is much better.
Now the problem. I'm not sure if it's related.
Last 2 days I'm getting headaches with mild nausea. Medicine doesn't work. Doctor said it may be because of fatigue, but I don't feel tired.
Last weekend I slept like a pig. Maybe because of home workouts. I slept almost 2 days, only waking up for food, water and natural calls. That kind of deep sleep is very unusual for me. Not sure if it's a good sign or something else.

Exhausted in evening and felt horny too (for first time in a while)
But did not feel any real urge to look at porn or masturbate
Another level reached

its when you go out, its in your phone when you scroll, on insta, reddit, it's in the movies, it's even in lyrics that can psychologically make you want to do it. i'm only on day 7 and i'm struggling, i tried to scroll but saw a woman post her waist and ass crack, it's AESTHETICALLY very pleasing, then you get the urge to yourself go online and watch more, the more you avoid it, the more it fuels it for later... my plan is to go months but i don't think it'll happen unfortunately
