I need duas and miracle stories because everything seems to go wrong and that Allah is not listening/answering

Upvotes

Hello,

I am writing because I am starting to feel desperate regarding the mercy of Allah.
Long story short, my sister is very suicidal. After 2 s** attempts last year, she spent the year being better and improving before starting a new nightmare this summer and committing 3 attempts in only 48 h. My parents directly took her to the hospital again, and two weeks later, some hours after she quit the hospital and said she was better, she attempted again. I know one shouldn't make duaa blindly, so we're doing everything but nothing is working: no doctor seems to know how to help her, no medicine, etc. All of this is costing a lot of money, and worse than this, I am seeing my family's mental health getting destroyed as well. My mum also just underwent surgery for cancerous cells; my brother is suffering from bullying, weight, eating disorders and obesity; and my father has his own companies that have been eating his health since I was very young and is a big smoker and can't stop smoking. I am also not in a good situation financially even though my father paid for very expensive studies. Nothing seems to work out, everything is getting worse, and every time I put my trust in Allah, everything seems to be getting worse. I pray, I make duaa, I cry, and I speak to Him honestly but it's becoming harder to have hope, and I can see my body also starting to endure the consequences of all this stress. Wallah I can't live like this anymore. I feel guilty for wanting to be happy, to have a family, to travel, to have money. Why would Allah, AL-Latif, The most Merciful, The Waduud, The Chafi, not help us and put us in a better situation. My mum is such a strong believer and the sweetest and nicest soul, and they do not deserve this. It is a weight I can't and don't want to bear anymore.

I need your miracle stories if anybody could relate in any way, and of course your duas. May Allah grant you everything you wish for. I hope this is not too long, but I don't have anything that makes me feel good or gives me hope about how unfair and bitter life is, and I loose even more hope when I see all the horrors happening in the world. I am looking forward to reading you.

🌷*Duaas to fight anxiety and depression*🌷

by Asma bint Shameem

We all go through difficult times one time or another.

Here are some duaas proven from the authentic sources that we can read at such times.

1️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ said:

There is no-one who is afflicted by distress and grief, and says:

‘Allaahumma inni ‘abduka ibn ‘abdika ibn amatika naasyati bi yadika, maadin fiyya hukmuka, ‘adlun fiyya qadaa’uka.

As’aluka bi kulli ismin huwa laka sammayta bihi nafsaka aw anzaltahu fi kitaabika aw ‘allamtahu ahadan min khalqika awista’tharta bihi fi ‘ilm il-ghaybi ‘indaka an taj’al al-Qur’aana al-adheema rabee’a qalbi wa noora sadri wa jalaa’a huzni wa dhihaaba hammi

“O Allaah, I am Your slave, son of Your slave, son of Your maidservant; my forelock is in Your hand, Your command over me is forever executed and Your decree over me is just. I ask You by every name belonging to You which You have named Yourself with, or revealed in Your Book, or You taught to any of Your creation, or You have preserved in the knowledge of the Unseen with You, that You make the Qur’aan the life of my heart and the light of my breast, and a departure for my sorrow and a release for my anxiety),’

but Allaah will take away his distress and grief, and replace it with joy.”

He was asked: “O Messenger of Allaah, should we learn this?” He said: “Of course; everyone who hears it should learn it.” ( Ahmad- saheeh by al-Albaani)

2️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ said:

“There is no Muslim who is afflicted with a calamity and says that which Allaah has enjoined,

Innaa lillaahi wa inna ilayhi raaji’oon. Allaahumma ajurni fi museebati wa akhlif li khayran minha

“Verily to Allaah we belong and unto Him is our return. O Allaah, reward me for my calamity and compensated me with something better than it,

but Allaah will compensate him with something better than it.”(Muslim)

3️⃣ Ibn ‘Abbaas said that the Messenger of Allaah ﷺ used to say at times of distress:

‎لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ الْعَظِيمُ الْحَلِيمُ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْعَظِيمِ ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ رَبُّ السَّمَاوَاتِ وَرَبُّ الْأَرْضِ وَرَبُّ الْعَرْشِ الْكَرِيمِ

“Laa ilaaha ill-Allaah al-‘Azeem al-Haleem, laa ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb al-‘Arsh al-‘azeem, la ilaaha ill-Allaah Rabb ul-samawaati wa Rabb ul-ard wa Rabb ul-‘Arsh il-kareem

“There is no god but Allaah, the All-Powerful, the Forbearing; there is no god but Allaah, Lord of the mighty Throne; there is no god but Allaah, Lord of heaven, Lord of earth, and Lord of the noble Throne.”

(al-Bukhaari, Muslim)

4️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ said:

“Shall I not tell you of something that, if any worldly calamity or disaster befalls any man among you and he says these words, he will be relieved of it. (It is) the du’aa’ of Dhu’l-Noon:

‎لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا أَنْتَ سُبْحَانَكَ إِنِّي كُنْتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِينَ

“Laa ilaaha illa anta subhaanaka inni kuntu min al-zaalimeen

“None has the right to be worshipped but You (O Allaah), Glorified (and Exalted) be You [above all that (evil) they associate with You]! Truly, I have been of the wrongdoers).”

And in another narration he said:

“No Muslim man says this duaa’ concerning anything but Allaah will answer his prayer.” (at-Tirmidhi -Saheeh by al-Albaani)

5️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ  said:

“The du’aa’ of the person who is in distress is:

‎اللَّهُمَّ رَحْمَتَكَ أَرْجُو فَلا تَكِلْنِي   إِلَى نَفْسِي    طَرْفَةَ عَيْنٍ وَأَصْلِحْ لِي شَأْنِي كُلَّهُ لا إِلَهَ إِلا أَنْتَ

‘Allaahumma rahmataka arjoo fa laa takilni ilaa nafsi tarfat ‘ayn wa aslih li sha’ni kullahu laa ilaaha illa anta

“O Allaah, for Your mercy I hope, so do not leave me in charge of my affairs even for the blink of an eye; rectify all my affairs. There is no god except You”

(Abu Dawood -hasan by al-Albaani)

6️⃣ If some matter was troubling him, the Prophet ﷺ  would say:

‎يا حيُ يا قَيوم بِرَحمَتِكَ أسْتَغِيث

Yaa Hayyu yaa Qayyoom bi rahmatika astagheeth

“O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, by Your mercy I seek Your help”

(at-Tirmidhi - hasan by al-Albaani)

7️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ  said to Asma’ bint ‘Umays:

“Shall I not teach you some words which you can say at times of distress and hardship?

‎اللَّهُ اللَّهُ رَبِّي لا أُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا

‘Allaahu Allaahu rabbee laa ushriku bihi shay’an

“Allaah is my Lord, I do not associate anything with Him).’”(Abu Dawood- saheeh by al-Albaani)

8️⃣ The Prophet ﷺ said:

‎اللَّهُمَّ لَا سَهْلَ إِلَّا مَا جَعَلْتَهُ سَهْلًا، وَأَنْتَ تَجْعَلُ الْحَزْنَ سَهْلًا إِذَا شِئْتَ

“O Allaah, nothing is easy but that which You make easy and You can make hardship easy if You will.”

(Ibn Hibbaan - saheeh by al-Albaani)

And Allaah knows best.

-

Please keep me and my loved ones in your duas.

Advice on stopping myself from losing hope on one dua I’ve been making since years

Salam everyone,
I hope everyone’s doing well. I’ve been making dua for one thing in my life to happen since 3-4 years now. At this point, my brain doesn’t even want to let me hope. Every time i hope, my hope is shattered and things don’t pan out the way i wanted and prayed for (only in this context). Now I don’t even want to hope or look forward to it because I’ve been disappointed way too many times. Whenever I see this blessing happening for other people around me, I break down and feel awful for myself and cry a lot, in namaz, in tahajud and dua etc but somehow even when I’m making dua my heart doesn’t fully believe that it will happen anytime soon. I later feel awfully guilty and pray that other people with this blessing don’t get nazar because of me and that Allah blesses them with even more happiness.
I keep thinking that I’ve made dua in every time, place situation and context for which it has been said that duas are accepted. I’ve prayed for this in tahajud, while prostration, during umrah, in front of kaaba, while it’s raining, while travelling and any other situation I’ve heard the same for, but my dua still hasn’t come true. I know I shouldn’t be thinking this way because Allah’s timing and plan is better than mine but I cant help it, my heart feels so so tired from thinking about this day and night.
I need miraculous tips on how to stop myself from losing hope and maintain tawakkal, as the only one we hope and pray to is Allah SWT. Please don’t tell me generic advices like it’ll happen if its for the better, your time will come when it’s meant to etc etc because I’m tired of hearing those, they don’t help anymore.
Also, for anyone reading this please say a prayer for me and ask Allah to make this best for me in the dunya and akhirah and grant it to me against all odds and bless me in this. Would mean a great deal to me.🤍
I pray Allah grants anyone reading this the best of both worlds and eases all your worries, ameen.💗

How are you still supplicating

I’ve been seriously making dua for 5-6 years now and most if not all of my duas never came into fruition and before you say the whole your duas are accepted in three ways, I know. Actually I’ve been trying to accept Allah’s decree so much that I’ve stopped making dua altogether. Making dua even for something small just feels so emotionally taxing. I pour my heart out, hope, and then when it doesn’t come to fruition i know the only way is to move on. However, the moving on part has made me so numb to everything. If things don’t work out I barely process it cause I’m seriously so tired I just tell myself it’s Allah’s decree and the best for us. But honestly I can’t get myself to hope for anything I pray for so I just don’t make dua anymore. I’m wondering if anyway was/is in the same situation. If so, what did/are doing currently because like I’m so tired of my hardships and everything going on in my life I really want relief but at the same time I’m kind of afraid of making dua all those years of hope and things happening opposite to what I prayed or not happening at all did negatively impact me.

Please make du'a for me 🤍

Assalamu alaikum everyone.

So In March 2026, I took my 12th board exams, and unfortunately I failed Maths. It's been a very difficult and emotionally draining time for me ever since. I wrote the supplementary (re-test) exam in June, and the result will be out very soon. I'm honestly feeling really anxious. I only need a few marks to pass, but I've been overthinking everything I wrote in the exam.

I'd really appreciate it if you could keep me in your du'as and ask Allah to grant me success if it is best for me, make the result easy for me, and give me peace regardless of the outcome.

Jazakum Allahu khair. May Allah accept all of your du'as and bless you abundantly. Ameen. 🤍

My mother's first year death anniversary.

Hey there,

Asalamualaikum everyone. My name is Ali, and I have a question which is soon going to be my mom's first death anniversary in 4 days. I wanted to know what is the sunnah or what to do on this day. Her grave is in different city and I am in different city. Would not attending my mother on this day will it be bad cause I am saddened due to my restrictions that placed or not capable to leave but did planned to leave immediately on next month and on the day of her 1 year. I wanted to know if there is something that I can do. My family has this tradition where they place a coal with bakhur and do something where the elder says the dua in front of praying mat and the rest within the family hear the dua and do add their points in the dua. People are divided in multiple other factors within muslims like sunni, shia, ahle hadees and many more practicing multiple aspects. And I don't want all of that. I want to know what's there in the Quran and the sunnah way to do which if someone can guide me to the path or something that I can continue which I may be doing by charity, praying for her good and is there any surah which is effective as for which I have been meaning to meet her in my dreams. I miss her a lot and I regret not spending more time with my mom but I do not have regret of something that I feel which I should not have said. Cause during within last 2 years.

I said my sorries, made her happy, made her laugh a lot, been beside her even when it get annoying for her, said sorries every moment and she easily accept but adds sarcasm to oil to fire but I never said back. My dad and mom were separated and I was given to my dad's custody during court trial. 13 - 14 years separated, was brainwashed by my dad when I was a kid and made me said so many slurs to my mom and I still regret. I regret to till this date that I wanna pray from my death and let Allah swt judge my actions to what would like to be next. But the day my dad kicked me due to few actions between me and my dad, I pulled myself and went to my mom after 14 or 13 years. The first time, I never cried this much I even cried for my mom, she was slightly old and was so happy that I came back which made me realise I really wanted this reaction and this affection which I was looking for.

As I was back, I got her everything she wanted even when I was earning little. Haven't given my salary in the middle cause I know she acts a little childish and buys everything whenever she feels as I got to know within under 1 year but I regret now if I got to know she had limited time. 1 ½ year we were like best friends as I annoy her alot, join with her during any entertainment, funny talks but she always prays alot and completes every prayer which is required and not required and even tahajjud every single day just to see my success and happiness. I never pray during that moment sometimes which she reminds me everyday, scolds me, I let her understand that I am okay and change her mind. Regretted a lot as I should have prayed with her.

1⅛ year before her death. We were neutral and I was never in touch with my dad but was with my dad's family and everyone as they were happy when they seen me I was living happy and they also seen me smile a lot more and they compared which afterall they know my dad was a pain to them too but I didn't know the reason for them to be against my dad to? Confused?

My used to compare herself jokingly with my stepmother with whom my dad married. My stepmother was too innocent and I would also say that she was or may be a victim of my dad aggression mostly as I seen her sometimes getting blamed by my dad but she never treated me someone but as her own son.

Last days of with my mom was about how to get my small sister married as my mom wanted to get sister's marriage extravagant and ensure she lives in peace but my sister was in denial of getting married and mom was pressuring her to be as her age is near or more. And I was the one to handle their fights to stop as there is always sarcasm in the words but at night always as I massage my mom feets since this makes her sleep easily due to pain in her legs, she usually talks about my sister's marriage and what would happen. I say not to take any stress and throw all that stress to me which I want to be reliable for her and to ensure that she stays healthy and stress-free.

Later date, soon her back started acting which I never expected but I knew as I was small, she always fall on her back which damaged her back bone and then there was bulge which she was unable to sit stand or lay properly. Surgery was needed and it went okay but afterwards was terrifying for me as I always hold her hand and ensure to check her pulse that is she there as there is always a vibe I felt. Her nerves to her brain which is connected with back bone was always shocking her and I get scared everytime of losing her which I was always and the one right beside her while my grandparents were in USA. My mom was staying with her father after my dad and mom separated and both married to someone which I should have said this earlier. But continuing this, later her back and everything started going smoothly however there was still inflammation near that surgery and the doctor who did this has no idea why is there still inflammation. Well months passed and my mom was acting okay and everything. My mom's sister commented my mom during her when she was alive as she is acting all this drama of pain and suffering while I seen what she has gone through with. Later in the few months, then this happened which my mom's sister visited and I had to leave the home as that wasn't my home but instead my grandparents home and they need a place to stay which I moved to hostel. Living over there, I call my mom usually to check on her and how is she doing.

She misses me during those moments as I check on her, and sometimes I give her check to make her understand that she doesn't need to take stress, let the maid do the work, ask her to take rest or watch something. And afterwards, I never knew that she went to city where my mom's father originally is from and had relatives which she went together with grandfather and her sisters to meet the relatives. One night before her death, she was in so much stress about my sister and to get her married which I made he again understand to not take the stress and let her know that I will handle from here which made her happy. She said one line "Thank you for everything my son" and I said what's there to thank me, as I will always ensure to help her forever. But I didn't knew that is the night where she died. I was awake till 6AM morning and she died in 1-2AM but I haven't received any update from the family she was with. I went asleep and woke up at 1PM just to drink and I see 45 missed calls from her family at 10 - 11Am and I did callback to hear that she is dead. That was the first time I ever had this feeling how it feels when someone you love and received loved so much dies. I seen my mom's body in video call while I was in different city for business related and asked questions to her sisters of why haven't they informed me and why have they prepared my mom's body already when I am not there yet. I said it takes me 2 hours to reach by flight and also got in contact with my friend as they can transport the body here where me and mom originally stayed together as there is everyone who would love to place flowers and petals on grave and I would always see her grave before leaving to the office but they said it's too late but I have everything ready by my friend to get it in Frozen and bring it here but her father denied and placed her grave in that city. Where when I reached next day, I see that she is already in grave and in a place where is no light, outside the wall is garbage all over around us but inside the walls were placed in the land where the grave is situated but some stagnated water at some corner and I hated to see her placed here. I was out of my mind and asked whether we can get her out and I will transport and begged.

Sadly the ritual is done. And I never was able to say goodbye. My mom's sister only took one day to cry and next day everyone is happy and some were laughing on jokes. Then there is her small brother who shown up from USA. Well that's a long other story but long story short. I fought with her family and we are no longer in contact. Me, my small brother and sister have severed the relation with my mom's family.

And now it's one year. I will move in next month to my mom's grave personally. I wanted to know what is the sunnah I can do in for this very day. I have been crying as I am typing this but I feel a huge relief that I am able to cry for something I really loved a lot.

I hope to look for some answers.

Thank you,

Ali

Please share any dua/verse that completely changed your life

I'm in desperate need of help from Allah SWT. I keep reading posts that Allah will help when it's the right time and all, but when is that time, I'm gonna die like this. I'm not the perfect muslim I know that I'm not even able to pray 5 times a day but it's genuinely because of the situation I'm in, I myself want to pray I want to go masjid but things are so messed up I can't. Without going too deep into details, my father is involved with another woman and it has created such a chaos in my house that I can not even describe. I know it will sound weird that just because of that I cant pray etc, but please trust me my situation is way worse than anyone can imagine, and only Allah SWT can help me.

Please, if any of you have a dua or a verse from Quran that completely changed your life around within days, then please I beg you to share it, may Allah SWT reward you for it. Thankyou.

I ask for your advice and ruling, jazakum allah khayran.

Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

May Allah reward you for your time and knowledge. I am writing to seek sincere Islamic advice regarding my relationship with my father. I have struggled with this question for many years and would be grateful for guidance based on the Qur'an and Sunnah.

I am a 22-year-old medical student. My older sister is 25 and now lives abroad. My mother and I still live with my father because I am financially dependent on him while I complete my medical studies.

To the outside world, my father is known as a righteous and religious man. He never misses the prayers in the mosque and has a good reputation in the community. However, inside our home, he is a completely different person.

For as long as I can remember, our home has been filled with fear. My father rarely speaks to us unless we speak to him first, and conversations are always tense because we never know when he will explode in anger. If any of us show the slightest disagreement, sadness, or discomfort while speaking with him, he begins screaming, insulting us, breaking things, and sometimes becoming physically violent.

Because of this, I grew up constantly afraid of the next outburst. I never felt safe in my own home. The stress has affected my mental health and my physical health. I have become severely underweight, and my mother has also suffered greatly.

My father has repeatedly used silence as a form of punishment. He has gone months, and sometimes even years, refusing to speak to us over minor issues. He also uses money to control us, withholding financial support or threatening it whenever he is displeased with us. At the same time, he treats our cousins with kindness and generosity, often showing them more affection than his own family. If we express hurt about this treatment, he becomes enraged.

For many years, my sister suffered the most. My father repeatedly accused her of being immoral and of attracting men despite never having any evidence against her. She always denied these accusations and even begged him to tell her how she could prove her innocence, but nothing she said mattered. On multiple occasions he physically assaulted her because of these accusations. Eventually, she moved abroad largely to escape the abuse.

After my sister left, my father's accusations shifted toward my mother.

Around eight months ago, he accused my mother of committing zina. He demanded that she bow to him and ask for his forgiveness. My mother firmly denied the accusation because it was completely false.

During this confrontation, he punched my mother directly in the area where she had previously undergone surgery for breast cancer. She fled to our neighbors for safety. He continued insulting her with severe profanity.

My mother wanted to take the matter to the police and to court because she wanted the truth to be established. She also wanted DNA testing if necessary to completely disprove his accusations. Surprisingly, despite claiming that he had been wronged, my father refused to go to court or involve the authorities. When family members encouraged legal action, he suddenly began begging everyone to drop the matter and "move on."

He also called me personally and asked me to convince my mother not to pursue the case. I asked him directly whether he admitted that his accusation was false. He refused to withdraw it. Instead, he insisted that Allah would eventually reveal a sign proving his claim. However, he still could not produce a single piece of evidence.

He searched my mother's phone for days and found nothing. He watched her movements for months and found nothing. He developed a theory that she was committing zina with construction workers in our neighborhood, but instead of confronting them or presenting evidence, he falsely called the landlord and lied that they were damaging the apartment, causing them to lose their accommodation. As far as I know, he never had any evidence against them either.

Throughout all of this, one thing has remained constant: my father is determined to keep everything hidden from the public. He cares deeply about maintaining the image of a righteous and respectable man. To this day, many members of his own family still have no idea what happens inside our home because he never tells them anything and insists that these matters remain hidden. They do not know about the years of emotional and physical abuse, the false accusations against my mother and sister, or that he has not spoken to my sister, who moved abroad, for over a year.

After the incident became known to some relatives, he promised my mother and me that he would never create such problems again. Unfortunately, he broke that promise.

Now my mother has been diagnosed with cancer for a second time. Instead of showing compassion, my father believes this illness is Allah's punishment upon her. He has even made du'a that she would become sick, and now he sees her illness as confirmation of his accusations. Watching my mother endure this after everything she has already suffered has been heartbreaking.

I do not claim that my father has never done good. He paid for my upbringing, my education, and my medical treatment when I was ill. He provided food and shelter. I recognize these favors and I do not wish to deny them.

At the same time, the years of fear, emotional abuse, financial control, physical violence, false accusations against my sister and mother, and the lasting psychological harm have left me deeply wounded.

My question is this:

Once I graduate, become financially independent, and no longer depend on my father, am I Islamically permitted to cut off my relationship with him completely for the sake of protecting my faith, my mental health, and my safety?

If completely cutting ties is not permissible, what level of contact would Islam require from me? Is it sufficient to maintain only minimal contact without visiting him or allowing him back into my personal life? Am I obliged to continue a close relationship with someone who has repeatedly harmed my mother, my sister, and me?

Finally, would it be Islamically appropriate for me to calmly explain to him, once I become independent, the specific ways in which his actions have hurt our family, even if I know he will most likely become angry and reject everything?

I ask for your advice sincerely because I want to act in a way that pleases Allah while also protecting myself and my family from further harm.

May Allah reward you for your time, grant you wisdom, and make your answer a source of guidance for me.

Jazakum Allahu khayran.

Feel opressed

Mornings are the toughest as I move forward without my baby, without my husband. To know I had everything I prayed for and then what feels like a drop from the highest mountain. I wake up with so much pain it hurts. How was he able to leave me abandoned at the time I needed him most. How did he just walk away while he saw me lifeless on the hospital bed. How did he move on with his life with my (ex) bestfriend and think it was okay. How did she, after being sisters for 10 years and knowing the depth of my love for him agree to be with him. Not only be with each other - but to abandon me at the time I needed them the most. How was it so easy for him to send me Talaaq through an imam. I wake up with this pain every morning. I have been told that they are done with me playing the victim card. Move on. Pull yourself together. But how do I pull myself together when I still am going through the loss of our baby alone, the milestones we were supposed to hit, the plans we had started to make. I am grateful for my health, but all of this hurts. It really just hurts 💔 I keep praying but the pain won’t reduce.

Just asking for duhas please

Hello, I know this is random but I will be straight with my situation. No one here knows me so I don’t mind sharing this. I have been 3-4 months clean from gambling but unfortunately this week I relapsed and lost a lot of money. Way more than I can afford.

All I am asking for is for your duhas, I’m tired of living this life and of working so hard just to lose everything. It’s like taking over my head and my body even though i don’t want to do it.

Today I don’t care I’m done, day 0 is today day one starts tomorrow. Please any duhas will help thank you! ❤️

Hardships, no way out

Asalamalikum

I was wondering if anyone could tell me about any hardships they endured when they saw no way out

And how long it was before you got relief of the hardship

Has anyone had to deal with loneliness in their life

Asking for advice and ruling, Jazakum Allahu khayran.

I am a medical student. My older sister now lives abroad.

A Brother in Need of Your Du'as

Assalamu 'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh.

I kindly ask you to remember me and my family in your du'as.

Please ask Allah to forgive my sins, accept my repentance, purify my heart, and keep me steadfast upon His religion.

Please make du'a that Allah grants me abundant halal rizq with barakah, relieves my financial hardship, and enables me to provide well for my wife and children.

Please ask Allah to grant my children goodness in this life and the Hereafter, and to bless my family with peace, health, and iman.

If there is any matter that is good for my religion, my worldly life, and my Hereafter, may Allah make it easy for me. And if it is not good for me, may He turn it away from me and grant me something better.

Jazakum Allahu khayran. May Allah accept your du'as and reward you abundantly. Ameen.

please pray for me if you’re reading this

I ended up applying for a appeal to the uni I had worked hard for but couldn’t make it in initially. Ever since then they’ve been asking me to wait for the committee’s response and I’ve been told my case is under review. I have so much hope and tawakul that if it’s meant for me and if there’s khair in it I’ll get it but I’m very scared as I don’t have other options too.
Please pray that I get consideration for this very university. I’m in need of prayers.
Thank you sm!!

Support needed

Asalamalaikum. My name is Tawheed.

I’ve been struggling lately so thought I’d come on here for some support. My health isn’t great at the moment and is causing me a lot of stress and anxiety, and I would really appreciate it if you could keep me in your duas and that allah grants me a full cure.

The Prophet ﷺ said:

“The supplication of a Muslim for his brother in his absence is answered. At his head is an angel appointed. Every time he makes a supplication for good for his brother, the angel says: ‘Āmīn, and for you the same.’”

— Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2732

Jazakallah

Answering of prayer

Towards the end of highschool I didnt accumulate the needed grades for entrance into university. There was a multitude of uncontrollable circumstances along with mental issues which made it more difficult. The following fall up until two months ago I had opportunities to upgrade my grades. Although I enrolled in those classes, I stopped working after a few months. I did not put in enough work to get into university.

Now my university has a process in which I can apply if I had circumstances that explained my inability to achieve these grades and I have a chance of gaining entrance through this process.

Although a large portion of why I didn’t succeed was uncontrollable, another large portion was just a lack of work ethic. I do not doubt the power of prayer but is there a chance I will get accepted into university? Because I didn’t put in the amount of effort to deserve it. I have wasted a year following highschool and I’m much older now and the embarrassment and discouragement I’ll receive if I don’t get in is far too high. I just want to know, is making sincere constant dua that I get in through this process valid? Even though in the past I didn’t put in the level of effort needed?

Scared of losing my mum

Asalamalikum I have no where else to turn

I'm currently going through the hardest season of my life

Loneliness being one of them I literally have no friends and no wife

my mum who is my only friend

There's a lad on my street who's mum passed away

Inna lillahi wa Inna illahi rajioon

Although this is someone I grew up around we don't actually chill

Within an hour of his mum passing all the lads I grew up around where at his house to console him

IL be honest I have no one and I'm scared that when the day comes god forbid it doesn't happen soon

The day I lose my mum IL not be. Able to cope and think il end my life. This thought scares me

Becuase I'm struggling already with loneliness I fight each day from the moment I wake to the moment I go to sleep

IV tried everything to find brotherhood but nothing

Please comfort me with advice and good words

Reassuring heartbroken muslims

I promise you as someone that spent so much time being heartbroken-then turning to Allah and begging for relief, then having my duas ‘not accepted’ the way i wanted and then being heartbroken and repeating the cycle of going back to Allah, YOUR SITUATION WILL CHANGE!!! YOU WILL CHANGE!! Everything will be OKAY. YOU will make it past something you so desperately wanted and prayed for and even if it feels cliche i PROMISE you will understand why it wasnt good for you.
I spent my whole life being anti-islam even though i was born muslim, and indulged in things i prefer not to disclose since i have repented. I promise Allah does not abandon, he does not hold grudges. Even if what you want feels so debilitating you cant accept a life without it-Allah WILL give you the strength to come to the other side. it may be hard it may be the most difficult time period but i promise you its worth it its so so so worth it please dont relapse in sin waiting for your circumstances to change. I know the feeling-feeling like your waiting period might turn into resentment but YOU HAVE TO MAKE A CHOICE to not. You have to choose Allah relentlessly constantly heartbrokenly even.
HE WILL CHANGE YOU!!! HE WILL MOLD YOU!! YOU WILL BE OKAY!!!
