This is a one-off build, not a production model. This is a heavily modified Lexus LS460 combined with the Vellfire front end, built by the students of the Nihon Automotive College (NATS). The students who built it call it the Lexus Vellfire Sedan. (Credits to the commentator from YT: @Taicho_Kyon)

Came across this while casually browsing through carwale.
I was wondering, why would someone buy a KIA at 75L. Saw another one, EV9 at 1.5 Cr.
What's your opinion on these 2?

Hi, my skoda slavia sportline 1 litres TSI manual is giving 5.5 kmpl in city which is really very frustrating at times. But when i have driven it on highway for around 400kms it has given 18.7 KMPL, i have maintained 1700 - 2000 RPM at 80-90KMPH speed.
So far 1000 kms are completed, first service is yet be done at 1500 kms.
Does the city mileage increase after 1st service ?

Hello good folks,
As my username suggests, I love road trips. Ever since I got my license in 2004 as an 18-year-old, I have munched lakhs of kilometers on our roads, most of it in Southern India. I learned driving in a humble M800.
Anyway, in my family, we have a Brezza 2021 petrol, a Hyundai i20 2023 IVT, a Honda City 2018, and an Innova Crysta. After driving multiple cars, I feel sub-4-meter CSUV cars are a good fit for our roads for the following reasons:
Cost: You pay just 18% GST on a sub-4-meter car compared to 40% GST on a car that's even a centimeter longer than 4 meters. Let me put that into context. A Brezza, which is sub-4-meter, has only a couple of inches less legroom than, say, a Hyundai Creta. Unless your family is really tall, do you really need to pay 22% extra GST for a Creta? If the ex-factory price of a sub-4-meter and an above-4-meter car is 10 lakhs, you would pay 1.8 lakh rupees on a sub-4-meter car and 4.0 lakhs on a car over that length in GST. Let that sink in.
Parking: When I started driving 22 years back, parking was never an issue. Today, it's a pain in the wrong place. Most places like malls have very congested parking. The other day, I drove my Innova to a small mall in Thrissur, Kerala. I had a hard time parking it while the Venue next to me comfortably squeezed in.
Sub-4-meter cars have gotten better: Look at the new Venue. It is as good as a Creta minus the space. In fact, the Venue's interiors are a step above the Creta. Even the space is not all that bad. The 1-liter turbo engine on the Venue is more punchy than the 1.5 NA on the Creta.
Unless one needs a larger car for a specific use case, such as a lot of tall passengers or a lot of highway drives, a subcompact car is the right fit for our roads. You don't need to spend a ton to buy and maintain them.
What do you guys think.

I like Mercedes a lot but you know I wanna know which is actually better? no bias, just pure facts, like maintenance, engine, etc. I’m sorry I’m not so very nerdy about cars, I’m very curious.

This is the consumption average from my BMW 520d (2017) which after 8 completed years and 1.45Lakh kms still delivers 19-21 Km/l on highways and 11-15km/l in the city.
This is an average spanning 2000 kms with a 70:30 driving split between expressways and city traffic.
The car is self driven, usually on Eco Pro Plus.
All of this while weighing 1.6 tonnes and running on Michelin RFT rubber is absolutely mind boggling to me!
What a slow, painful and inevitable farewell to these incredible jack of all trade german diesels.

Dealer says the charger is fine. But it stops charging after few hours or mins.
And charges back on again if I turn off and on the switch.

Hey guys,
Need some advice.
I’m looking at a 2002 Maruti Zen VXi with the following:
AC
Power steering
Power windows
Fiber door pads
Side skirts
Fog lamps
Music system
Rear wiper
Tinted glass
Paper till next July
Engine is smooth (as per owner)
Owner is asking ₹65,000.
The catch is, the car needs around ₹10-15k worth of work (mostly small fixes). So my total cost would be around ₹75-80k.
Do you guys think it’s worth going for at that price? Also, after buying it, how much more should I realistically keep aside if I want to make it look a bit cleaner and more appealing (interior + exterior), without going overboard?
Anything specific I should inspect on a 2002 Zen before finalizing the deal? This will be my first car, so I’d really appreciate your suggestions.

Hi everyone,
I'm in a bit of a dilemma and would really appreciate some advice.
I'm looking for a reliable 7-seater with a budget of around ₹15 lakh. My daily commute is around 50 km, and almost every weekend I do 200 km+ highway trips, so reliability is my top priority.
I was initially planning to buy an Innova HyCross, but I've decided to postpone that purchase by a couple of years due to budget constraints. My experience with my Tata Punch EV has also made reliability my biggest concern.
The dilemma is this:
I've attached the image for two cars (Second Hand- Spinny) I'm currently considering.
If you were in my position, what would you choose and why?
Also, are there any other cars I should be looking at in this budget?
I'd really appreciate any ownership experiences, reliability feedback, or buying advice.
Thanks in advance!
