just need to mod the 3ds and it already came with 3d land though I am transferring saves from a broken 3ds XL that was identical but without the stickers and also I am gonna remove the sitckers already on it and also put DS rom hacks on the 3ds

Hello, I would like to get some help with my hacked 3DS XL.

Today, I found an old SD card and inserted it into my hacked 3DS. The SD card was not recognized. However, when I tried to put my original SD card back (the one with all my hack apps and games), the console was no longer able to read it at all.

The blue power light stays on continuously, but the console does not boot and the screens stay black. As soon as I remove the SD card, the console starts normally again.

I would like to point out that before inserting the old SD card, everything was working perfectly fine.

I recently found my old 3DS, and I went to see about getting it fixed about 7 years ago, and they told me it would be cheaper to just get a refurbished one instead. The thing is, I have a lot of memories on my 3DS that I don’t know if they’re on my SD card or not (I don’t believe they are). Is it worth it to try and find someone who can fix it, is it fixable (it’s been sitting in a car for five years in various weather conditions), and how much would I be looking at if it’s fixable?

EDIT: Definitely going to look into getting a charging block and trying that first, thank you all for your comments and advice, I will update once it’s working again and this is resolved!

So I'd love to hear some thoughts and opinions on something I feel quite passionate about! Im a long time DS fan, and recently picked up my DS Lite again. I own numerous 3DS consoles and a really decent sized library, and I also own a good chunk of original DS game.

I recently played through Another Code on the DS Lite and it just brought back such a magical feeling. It was also wildly refreshing to finish a game in around 5/6 hours and not be pulled into a 70 hour drag.

What specifically do you think made DS and 3DS games so special? How often do you still play DS games?

First things first, Both 3DSs are hacked, my current 3DS and a friend's that I just hacked for them. And my 3DS game slot is busted.

Now, I have used the borrowed the 3DS to make .cia files of my physical games and used Checkpoint to make backups of each game. Next, I moved the files from the borrowed SD to my current SD, .cia in gmod9/out and checkpoint saves in 3ds/checkpoint/extdata/[folder name].

But when I installed the .cia files and restored from checkpoint, it's like checkpoint did nothing. Is there a way to inject the save data into my now-digital games, or was I lied to?

And i need to fix it i have done the audio settings and restarted the console the problem is thos two reasons, and i'll try to get store that has experience with ribbon cables and games

I need to charge my 3ds just to check if it still works ( to s.ell it). I don’t want to bu.y one but I don’t know anyone around me who has one to borrow.

Hello guys where can I find the original screw covers for the 3ds ? Mine are from Aliexpress and don’t fit perfect and are too thick.

First of all: Should I REALLY be afraid of the hinge on the old XL "eventually exploding" or is it worth the fairly reduced price? Will it be alright if I just be gentle, try not to constantly flick it open with my thumb, and put it in a hinged case? Are there any cases that actually provide structural support or are they mostly just for preventing scratches?

And second of all: An XL I returned recently had a problem I really haven't found much help on. Instead of being stuck in sleep mode (more common, I think), mine wouldn't go into sleep mode. The screens and speakers stayed on when closed, and putting a magnet near the sensor didn't do anything. Is there a particular reason for that, on the slim chance it ever happens again? Is there any intuitive way to fix it?

as the title said, my new 3ds xl 's bottom screen is barely responsive to touch and the top screen is not turning on. it started with the bottom screen being unresponsive; I ordered a new digitalizer and "successfully" replaced the old one, but the unresponsiveness is still there. also, after replacing that and putting everything back to its place, the top screen is not turning on anymore. anyone know how to fix?

I'm looking to buy a New 3DS XL or LL, I'm looking on ebay and i stumbled upon several of professional sellers like this that have a lot of 3DSs and other consoles from japan. I know that japanese consoles are less expensive but those prices seems too god to be true to me, and sometimes they also offer free return and a surprisingly fast shipping from japan.
I know they have a lot of positive reviews and feedback but I've never bought anything on ebay and I fear I may be scammed.

Refurbished new 3ds xls can be bought from eb games for $350 Aud. I’ve been browsing marketplace and these go for around $400 if in good condition, with mods, etc. Great condition ones can hit around $700. Is there any reason to not buy from eb games? I’ve heard that modding a 3ds is a pretty manageable task.
