I lived in Zimmerman as a kid, then mostly stayed in the cities. Champlain, maple grove, spring lake park…so I guess I’d just like to ask if there’s anything I should get used to before moving up there

What’s the job market up there like?

Me and my partner are visibly queer, is that a safety concern at all?

Is it a more tight knit area, or are people more avoidant of each other?

Earlier today I saw a FedEx truck parked with a little white dog dead behind it. It was such a horrible thing, I feel so bad for the dog, but especially for the driver. She was just doing her job, and this little dog, who is never leashed, never contained, and constantly crosses the road to the park was in the wrong place at the wrong time. The only one at fault here is the dog's owner, I've come so close to hitting dogs at that corner it's not even funny. Maybe now that they have lost one they'll invest in leashes, it's just so sad that the dog died for that lesson.

I do genuinely hope the driver isn't too hard on herself.
