Effective immediately, any posts intended solely to shit on someone else's vehicle will be removed.

Incredibly, incredibly tired of these low effort posts. No, I don't care that it makes you feel superior to others. No, I don't care about the 37 jokes about the size of the driver's genetalia.

The internet is already a giant cesspool of negativity. Don't add to it.

All truck-buying posts go in the sticky or r/whatcarshouldibuy 90’s/00’s Chevy S10/Sonoma vs Ford Ranger?

I’m really on the fence on what truck would be best for me. I’m looking for something that will be able to tow my 16’ aluminum fishing boat and trailer, occasional towing of my ATV and trailer for rides as well, whilst also being a decent daily I can take to work and back. I’ve found the best options for these small sized pickups that aren’t too bad on gas near me are the late 90’s/00’s Chevy/ gmc s10 and the ford ranger. Both automatic.

1)Which would you suggest for someone in my situation?

2) 4.3 better than 4.0 (OHV and SOHC) when it comes to reliability and gas mileage? How do the rangers 2.3 and 3.0 fair in this conversation? Just as good?

3) which automatic transmission will last the longest if taken care of?

Thanks!

Only light on before was SRS, codes on before were BPPS and O2 sensor. I disconnected the fusebox without removing negative terminal but have gone behind and confirmed there are no blown fuses in engine bay or cab. BPPS was on before but no related lights were on so i figured it just needed to be calibrated. O2 sensor is for exhaust setup. Ive tried disconnecting the battery removing fusebox and cleaning connections. Truck runs, drives and brakes fine. I just want these lights off my dash since i plan on selling it soon

This is how untreated copper is transported in my country: nearly 100 tons on a 60-ton, 3-axle trailer.

DIY side access panel in existing fiberglass truck cap

Hi folks. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to install a side access door in this existing truck cap. I removed the window and I’m trying to figure out how I can create a side access. I wanna be able to grab things from the side of the bed without crawling all the way I. I don’t care what it looks like. any thoughts or ideas? Ideally, I’d like it waterproof as much as possible. Security is not a major concern. I thought about trying to hinge the existing window trimming some of the fiberglass, especially the window just pops out of the fiberglass and using that as the door somehow or perhaps a plexiglass cover of sorts?

Any thoughts? Thanks!

This truck is best truck I've been driving my 2016 Sierra now for 320,000km. No issues, no problems. A little humble workhorse.

These things are built to last in their most basic form.

The LV3 V6 and the 6L80 (When programmer properly) is a bulletproof drive-train.

If you want these to last forever, re-write your flash tables to get rid of torque convertor slip and overlap. Lock you cam phasers to 0 Degrees, and Disable DoD. Get a wideband O2 sensor, force it to open loop, and tune out your factory emissions tables and go with a pure MAF tune.

Bigger tires for 2026 frontier Roush

Post image
6 Upvotes

Been looking to put bigger tires on my 26 roush and I’ve read that the 2 inch lift allows for a small upgrade in size? I’d like to keep the road comfort while giving me just a tad more confidence for off-roading and rough winters/rain. Been looking at the falken wildpeak at4w 275/70R17 as that may seem like the best fit but idk. Hoping you truck guys could help out, thanks!
