Such a cool bday present

I swear that during the first handful of seasons of the Titans there was a country song someone wrote about the team. They'd play it over the PA at the stadium during games.

The only thing I *think* I remember is a lyric going something like "We're the Tennessee Titans and we'll beat you like dogs." but that may be a false recollection.

I know the song is real though. Anyone remember that?

After hearing the CJ2K news I had to get myself a couple jerseys. I decided to not go the fanatics/nike route because I figured he wouldn’t see much of that money. So I bought 2 jerseys off DHGate and made a donation to his ALS research fundraiser (which you can donate to here) this was the first of the 2 to come and I’m very pleased! I would give it about a 9/10 the only nitpick I have is that the numbers in the back are about 3/4 an inch too short compared to the real thing, but I don’t think anyone is ever going to notice that and for a 30$ knock off that’s really nothing.

Received this text from my dad yesterday while he was at the airport.

With the recent tragic news surrounding Chris Johnson, I’ve found myself feeling nostalgic and reflecting on some of my favorite memories as a Titans fan, so the timing of this felt pretty surreal.
It didn’t work out the way we wanted, but the Vince Young era had some classic moments.

My old man said he chatted with him for a few minutes and Vince was a very nice guy

Saw this Coach Pressure Index thing from RotoWire ranking all 32 HC seats on job security, win-now pressure, QB volatility, etc. Robert Saleh actually came out dead last in pressure (35/100) — basically the most stable seat in the league right now. Kind of wild given where this team has been, but I guess it shows the front office isn't in "win now or else" mode with him. Feels like a long leash either way you look at it. Anyone else think that's the right call, or should there be more heat on him this year? Link to article

Ryan tannehill is supremely under appreciated in this community because of one bad playoff game. Those first 3 seasons with him were so much fun to watch.

It’s me and my dad’s first time ever going to a NFL game and first time in Nashville. He is 60 and I’m 30 and he is in bad health and always wanted to go to a Seahawks game. Luckily the Hawks are playing in the preseason in Nashville. We didn’t get to go last year cause he was in the hospital. Could anyone give me some advice to make his trip the best while we are there? And some advice to a good place to park so he isn’t walking far and some estimated pricing of what I may spend cause I don’t make much money. I just want him to have the best day but on a budget lol.
