Politics Recordings from inside U.S. Sen. Marsha Blackburn's office allege pressure to 'break the law'

I dunno, you tell me. Why is Marsha Blackburn's Age Not a bigger topic?
She's 74, and in light of the Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham situations, you'd think that this would be a larger topic, especially given that she doesn't hold town halls and she cancelled the debate.

I dunno, you tell me. 10+ cops escorting a truck, any idea?
Didn't get a pic, but I was on 68 yesterday and we were stop and go (mostly crawling) for an hour and a half yesterday. No road closures, no signs, just lotsa cops. There were 10+ cops (including state troopers) in front of, around, and behind a truck hauling something quite large (something nuclear? military?). Does anyone have any idea what this was or did anyone else see it? We first noticed it a few minutes after the nuclear plant, headed west. I figure this is a long shot, but thought I'd ask!

Cuisine Love visiting TN but explain Krystal's to me.
I love driving through your state from nc, best damn drive in the country. Even long delays area just beautiful to sit in. Indo this drive a couple times a year and I always said, I'm going to see what this Krystal's is all about... Man that was something um different? Did I just order the wrong thing? Number 1 with four sliders and I think that sliver of meat was uh meat.

I dunno, you tell me. State job hiring process
I applied for a job a few weeks ago.
Was very soon invited for interview. Interview seemed to go well.
However, I was interviewed on a Thursday, pretty much promised a call the next day to let me know either way.
I sent a follow up email the next week since I hadn’t heard anything. No updates in the online portal.
Found out via an automatic email from hiring manager that she was on vacation all week. So.
Anyway, how long does this process take? Should I assume I probably don’t have the job by now?
Or is the bureaucracy notoriously slow about making offers?

Middle Tennessee Fall Creek Falls State Park appreciation
Stayed in a cabin for a few days in FCFSP in late May. They say it's one of the most popular state parks, but it didn't feel crowded at all. Beautiful hikes, biking trails, hotel with restaurant, swimming pool with snack bar/grill, outdoor equipment store! Everything you need! Might go back next year!

Middle Tennessee Why are there so many red foxes??
I can count on one hand the number of times I’ve seen a red fox before this year, but right now I’m seeing them multiple times a week. And during the day too! A few weeks ago, we lost around 15 chickens in a single day. I found two carcasses, but the rest just disappeared and we were left scratching our heads. I didn’t consider red foxes because it happened in the middle of the day (carcasses were rigored when I found them a couple of ours before sunset), but it seems like the most logical answer at this point.
Why are there so many red foxes this year? Habitat encroachment seems obvious, but no massive changes lately in the 8ish miles surrounding me.
Located in middle TN, Rutherford County, rural-ish area.
EDIT: I’m not just making an observation—I am actually curious about the reason. Also, important to note that I’m a Rutherford County native; I didn’t move here last week.

Relocating from GA to TN
Hey all!
I'm looking to move to Eastern TN. Really want to get up in the mountains. I've live near Atlanta my entire life and it sucks lol. Any suggestions for small, affordable towns? Chat GPT suggested Erwin LOL Thanks in advance

PSA 🎤 Early voting starts tomorrow — I built a free election guide for all 95 Tennessee counties
Early voting for Tennessee’s August 6 election begins tomorrow, July 17, and runs through August 1.
I’ve spent the past few weeks building a free, nonpartisan election guide covering all 95 Tennessee counties:
Choose your county to see:
- State and federal primary candidates
- County general-election matchups
- May county-primary results where official totals were available
- Candidate websites and campaign-finance resources
- Links to the underlying election commission and sample-ballot sources
Full disclosure: I built the site. There are no endorsements, rankings, or recommendations—it’s meant to make the ballot easier to understand before you vote.
Please verify your exact ballot, early-voting hours, and voting location through GoVoteTN or your county election commission, since district-specific races and schedules vary.
If you spot an error or missing source, please let me know. I’d genuinely appreciate the help improving it before Election Day.

I dunno, you tell me. Can I renew registration on my car in one county and have it sent to another?
Unsure if anyone knows this, but my car is in my mom’s name and I’m on her insurance and use the car. Because the car is in her name, it’s registered in a county about 2 hours away. However, I’m currently staying in a different county. Can I renew my registration for her county online but have the registration shipped here to me? Trying to see if I can avoid driving 2 hours to the DMV office at hers…
