News/Analysis Athletic/NY Times: Bills are overrated
The Bills came up painfully short in their quest for a Super Bowl, and coach Sean McDermott got fired. They’re regarded as contenders largely because Josh Allen is always darting in and out of phone booths. But it’s well documented that he can’t do it alone. The Bills could experience some growing pains as Joe Brady attempts to make the big jump from offensive coordinator to head coach, and new defensive coordinator Jim Leonhard tries to install a brand-new defense.

Hey Bills Mafia! Since you guys were so incredibly nice to my Josh Allen drawing (thank you so much!), I wanted to share the next piece from me. Here is our Tight End, Dalton Kincaid! I actually own his jersey here in Germany, so I had to put a lot of love into this one. Added a little friendship bracelet touch too. Hope you like it! Go Bills! 💙❤️

Misc Open practice tickets - did you get them?
I was in the queue before they went “on sale”, and there were about 5000 people ahead of me. if the max is four tickets, and they’re only seating the lower bowl, I’m curious if they’re already out.
side note, 830am on a Tuesday? 😭 doesn't open practice usually happen after 5pm? not complaining I’m happy to go, I’m just surprised

Discuss Did anyone else trying to get practice tickets get notified by Ticketmaster they need to do Persona identity verification?
When I went to buy tickets today, as soon as I took the link I got a notification from Ticketmaster that my decade+ old account triggered "suspicious bot or network activity." I've done nothing besides my season tickets and some concerts all at least a couple months ago. It requires sharing a scan of government ID and a live selfie.
Look I get that we all want bots off the site, but there is literally no way to verify you aren't a robot other than giving up personal biometric data in hopes that a third party company isn't hacked. Customer service will do nothing but read their script saying the same thing as the message and your account will be PERMANENTLY BANNED if after getting the notice you don't verify quickly enough.
From what I've read, this was triggered for a lot of people based on the event you were trying to get tickets for, I'm curious if this came up for other people specifically for the new stadium.

Discuss What are your honest feelings about this season
I always find myself with a very high (maybe sometimes delusional) level of hope going into a season. We've finally got a true WR1 for the first time in years; we've made some impactful additions to the D, and an overhaul of the coaching staff, although bittersweet because who doesn't love Sean McDermott, is a welcome change. That being said, there are some genuine wagons i.e. the Rams coming off massive offseasons. The Chiefs made a huge addition to their backfield, getting Kenneth Walker, which frightens me because our run D last season was horrible. It remains to be seen if the Pats are truly a contender; time will tell, I guess. Point being, I have so much confidence in our guys, but part of me still worries Beane didn't make enough moves to get the secondary where it needs to be to contend with a team like the Rams.
