What is the purpose of “adult autism “ diagnosis?

Legit question, forgive my ignorance. I see a lot of stuff for adults to get an autism diagnosis. I don’t understand what that diagnosis means. Can anyone explain it? What does such a diagnosis provide? Are there benefits one can apply for or something? Are there people who have reached adulthood without getting diagnosed? I don’t know a lot about autism. Are there degrees of severity? Thanks in advance

Be real; Is being bald unattractive?

I'm deciding to go bald at 26 because I don't like how my haircut receded, and I'm just wondering how much of a disadvantage it is.

edit: hairline

Why are people so nosy?

The reason why I am asking this is because there has been a case where whenever I would go for a walk outside by myself or go to coffee shops/restaurants few people will feel the need to ask me why don’t I bring my partner or friends with me. I get annoyed when people are nosy like that. Why do they get weirded out if an individual does things by him/herself. Being by myself and having space is very therapeutic for me and gives me comfort and I don’t want to have to explain this to people especially those who work at coffee shops or restaurants. I just want to be left alone by them.

How to live happily without being ignorant?

Upvotes

I really want to dissociate completely. I cannot save anybody, I am powerless to everyones struggles, but that would be ignorant to do. But I still want to be happy while being present, supportive and moral, is that even possible?

Is 100mg of caffeine the safe upper limit for those under 18, or is this subjective?

When I search it up on Google I always see that they recommend 100mg of caffeine as the safe limit if you’re below 18, but ever since I was much younger I’ve been drinking a good amount of caffeine from sodas and energy drinks (my parents weren’t the best at teaching me nutrition😭, I also don’t remember ever going above 400mg aswell, which is the safe limit for adults)

I’ve been to the doctor multiple times and my heart and such are perfectly healthy, so the caffeine doesn’t seem to have negatively affected me. Could I have built a slow tolerance to it over time? Can caffeine affect certain kids much more differently than others?

does this guy like me?

i became friends with my friends boyfriend at the time (they broke up a year ago). him and i had many difficult classes together and would study together at least once a week. (not alone) a while ago he followed me on his spam account and followed my spam while they were together. we talked a lot after they broke up, although i didn’t want to bc girl code. i asked my friend and she told me she wants me to be his friend still because “he’s such a nice guy, we just don’t work and no one should hate him.” anyways i kept my distance even tho she told me that. nonetheless he’s been texting me about music a lot recently and just texted me today abt one of our professors. i mean we were good friends when they were together but after i would just say friends. idk it’s just weird all of the sudden

I can’t help but cry every day, is this normal?

I’m going through a difficult phase of my life. In a month I will slowly have to get the f*ck out of the EU back to my home country, I’m seeing an amazing person but this current situation is also starting to damage our relationship. The idea of long distance relationship is scary for us, we’re both willing to try but lately I’m doubting that if we’ll be able to manage that either.
I’m 24 and it feel like my life is falling apart and I’m lost. There’s a possibility that I come back to EU for my masters next September but it’s not gonna be an easy process which stresses me a lot. I literally woke up crying this morning, in a very intense way, a few days ago I found myself on the floor because I had kind of an anxiety atttack I think.
I’m capable of keeping my mental health stable in normal circumstances, but this whole situation is messing me up.
Anyone who had been through a similar situation maybe that can tell me everything is gonna be alright?
