last time i did the test, it said i was an INFP :3
im not huge into the MBTI specifics, but i find myself drawn to INTJ types a lot! (At least characters)
there’s just something about how smart/collected they are that i really like! And they also seem like sweet softies deep down. Idk! Lmk which type u like the most and why :3

MBTI isn't the most scientific theory of personality, but it still describes individual differences between people fairly accurately. Even ignoring sites like 16 Personalities that just give you a Big 5 test with MBTI labels.
No theory of personality is perfect, there are many ways to describe people, so even if MBTI isn't the best theory out there, having another slightly different way to describe people is useful, right?

I love your compassion for others.
You guys are as precious as others.
Your emotions are precious, they come directly from you soul.

I'm creating a plan to leave the digital world and imerse myself in the real one.
I'm an INFP and I love the INTP and ENTP one. So I want to know where I can find them, the places they frequent.

The title pretty much sums it up lol.
I just don't trust myself well enough to take a quiz about myself if that makes sense. I'm not 100% sure if I am self aware enough... I've typically resulted an INFP in the past and have developed into INFJ in more recent years.
I've always felt kind of disconnected from the results. On a surface level they were accurate in regards to surface level traits but in the deeper dive I was more like "errr... I dunno so much". I understand you're not supposed to fit your type to a T, but for those results being my type I wasn't too sold that I really connected with them as much as I see other people connect to theirs.
If someone could somehow assess me like a one-on-one discussion that'd be something I'd value/trust more than myself lolol. If anything like that or anything similar exists, let me knowww. I trust this community because I figure the people in it are more educated than I am. I'm just an MBTI enjoyer lol
good day!

obviously not that rigorous of a discussion as we know that typology doesn’t necessarily imply causation for levels of income, and that the study most likely used mistypes. however i was inclined to think Te users would overall just be the highest earners, but this chart seems to show that any of the four EXTX types have an advantage salary wise, even though EXTP are not Te valuing. is there a reason for this?

Oliver Chris is an English actor well-known for his roles in everything from The Office and Green Wing to The Crown and Rivals. I was watching some of these press interviews for Rivals earlier and thought he had an interesting energy and wondered what his type might be. I can have a guess myself too but I wanted to see other opinions.
I know it's tough to type celebrities when we're only ever seeing them at work, and especially based off one interview (I'd be happy to provide more but I know it's a big ask just to ask you to watch one if it's a celebrity you don't know!) But if you could have a guess based on what we're seeing here at least I'd be grateful!
Thanks :)

I’ve been reading through descriptions of all of the cognitive functions and I keep switching back and forth between which ones I think I display the most. I’ve tried taking online tests to be pointed in the right direction but the percentages between each function is always around 50/50. They all sound the same to me honestly. Like, “you perceive the world using your senses” or “you perceive the world by making connections (but to make those connections you have to perceive the world using your senses)” clearly I’m exaggerating, but that’s pretty much how all of it sounds to me😭 Does anyone have any tips on how to better conceptualize the cognitive functions. I think my main issue is that I’m overthinking.

What might be a good arc of an INTP who has never been annoyed or sarcastic with ANY human because they say, and I quote, "getting annoyed of anyone comes from the premise of unconscious bias and incomplete awareness when evaluating and attempting to solve problems or build models"? 😏

To me what other types could supposedly analyze well by seeing connections and all consequences but is not a Ne user and uses symbolism? Part of me woudl say ISTP's. Then xSxJ types, especially one's with Te, ISxJ's and one's with devloepd Ne. To me ISTP's could see how A leads to B leads to F (alhtough they may not see that A leads to B or C or B or C leading to F). THe mystype happens when peopel isnist aht Sensors can't be analytical.

what is the best way to know if you are mistyped?

ignore your stack!
for me, i guess it goes ti = ne > fi > si > te > ni > fe > se? might not make much sense but in my head it does! can’t really explain how or why with actual words but i thought about it a lot.

I know what the letters say about me. But really the more I sit with it, the more I feel like MBTI can't contain a person as fluid as me. Some days I'm introspective and artistic, other days I'm spontaneous, I have such a rich inner world, how can four letters capture that?
I feel like I'm several types blended into something this here framework just wasn't designed for. Maybe some people fit neatly into a type, and that's fine for them.I'm not trying to be different, I just am.
Was anyone else disappointed in this way?
