Humor Petition to replace world leaders and CEOs with us, so we can get over with those stupid wars.

Warning: it's a joke, kinda. I'm just exhausted at news, at the world as it is. Power, money, religion, corruption, bla bla bla. I wish I could end all of this once and for all with my godly powers and turn the world into a pan-communist with optimal resource logistics. Not being ironic now. WE INFPs SHOULD BE IN POWER! F$ck it, I said it.

Random Thoughts Does anyone else's brain have a weird "comeback" mechanism?

I've noticed something about myself recently, and I'm curious if anyone else experiences this.

Whenever life throws a major setback at me, whether its academics, work, relationships, whatever, I don't just feel sad for a while. I spiral. I overthink every little thing, replay conversations, question my self-worth, and my mind can go to some pretty dark places. In those moments, it genuinely feels like there's no way out.

But then, after a while, which could be hours or days or months, depending on the setback, something strange happens. It's almost like my brain reaches a saturation point where it just says, "Fuck it." It feels like a psychological Zenkai boost.

The closest analogy I can think of is Bruce Wayne climbing out of Bane's prison in The Dark Knight Rises. When you're at the bottom, the climb looks impossible. But once you make it out, you trust yourself more than you did before you fell.

It feels like a superpower sometimes. I feel like maybe other INFPs feel it too?

Either way, I'm grateful that my mind seems to work this way. At this point, I genuinely believe that as long as I'm still me, it's never really over.

Has anyone else experienced something similar?

Discussion What INFP do when they are angry ?

I’m an INTJ. I think I somehow made the INFP girl unhappy during our last meeting. Now she has become passive and has been avoiding another meeting, giving me different reasons to reschedule the date. I don’t have any problem with that, but I’m curious about how I should approach her and ask for clarification about what exactly happened. Or should I just not ask and let things fade over time?

Informative Does any of you struggle keeping friends?

I have no issues getting them but keeping them is another thing. I either stop liking them or I pull away for some distance. I don’t know why. I suck at staying in touch with people. Might be a “me” thing.

Creative Another poem by me: Shadows

Post image
10 Upvotes

I've been trying to get better at writing poetry. I do write things down whenever the thoughts and feelings comeby, and sometimes they dont make sense.

Anyway, I wrote this tonight while trying to understand a feeling that didn't seem to fit into either happiness or sadness. It's about pausing without giving up, watching life continue, and trusting that one day you'll catch up to your own shadow. I hope it resonates with anyone who's ever needed a quiet moment before moving forward. 🩷

Venting Last night's dream left me feeling sick

Last night I had one of the most uncomfortable dreams I've ever had.

In the dream, my partner and their guardian came to my house with a marriage proposal. Everyone around me acted like this was a happy moment, but I felt nothing except panic. I kept running away, avoiding everyone, hiding, and hoping nobody would find me. I didn't want to get married. I just wanted to escape.

When I woke up, I felt ashamed, guilty, and honestly a little disturbed.

The reason it hit me so hard is because, in real life, I'm already at the point where I think I have to end this relationship.

I still care about them, but the love I used to feel isn't there anymore. For a long time I've felt like I'm the only one putting in the effort. I don't feel acknowledged. I don't feel like a priority. It feels like they're slowly drifting away while I'm the one desperately trying to hold everything together.

I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt. I told myself they were busy, stressed, or just showed love differently. I tried being more patient, more understanding, more affectionate.

But after a while, it started to feel suffocating.

When your love, care, and affection are almost never matched, something inside you slowly dies. You stop feeling safe. You stop feeling wanted. You start questioning your own worth.

I've finally decided to stop being clingy and stop depending on someone who doesn't seem to want me the way I want them.

Maybe that's why this dream bothered me so much. It felt like my mind was forcing me into a future that my heart has already walked away from.

Has anyone else had dreams that made them realize how they truly felt about a relationship? Or dreams that reflected something you were trying to avoid in real life?

Advice Developing Si and Te with age. Question.

I've noticed that, as I've gotten older, I've started to feel more comfortable with the Si and Te functions.

I'm 38 now, and I don't know why, but sometimes I get an urge to clean the house. I've started to procrastinate on mental or intellectual activities—the ones I usually enjoy—and instead spend time cleaning the house or washing the dishes. After I finish cleaning, I feel satisfied and accomplished.

What about you guys?

Si comes more naturally to me than Te.

I've also started listening to Synthwave or video game music as ambient music to help me focus on my tasks.

Inspiration Echoes in the Dust

Echoes in the Dust

They reached beyond the sacred line,
Trading truth for glittering signs.
Giants walked with towering pride,
Leaving broken hearts behind.

Enoch climbed where silence burned,
Saw the pages still unturned.
He watched the heavens testify,
While shadows whispered polished lies.

The flood erased the flesh from earth,
But hatred searched another birth.
Where envy found an open door,
The ancient hunger asked for more.

Every mirror tells a tale,
Every soul can choose the trail.
Chains are forged from unchecked pride,
Or shattered when we look inside.

Wake the fire beneath your soul,
Don’t let darkness steal control.
Voices calling, smooth as gold,
Selling crowns already sold.

Stand where love and courage meet,
Truth is never in retreat.
Every heartbeat draws the line
Choose the light while there’s still time.

The loudest throne can still be dust,
Power breaks without true trust.
Blame becomes a polished shield,
While honest hearts refuse to yield.

The helm they brought was fear and war,
Making neighbors keep the score.
Every mask became a face,
Mercy vanished without a trace.

Yet every dawn still breaks the night,
Calling sleepers toward the light.
Freedom waits with open hands
Love, not force, is Heaven’s plan.

Who’s pulling strings when nobody’s looking?
Who writes the script while the headlines are cooking?
Pointing fingers, building kingdoms, feeding every empty throne.
Truth gets buried under noise until deception feels like home.

Giant egos wearing halos, shouting, “I’m the only way!”
Never facing what they’re planting, harvesting another day.
Every lie that dodges justice leaves another chain to grow.
Every soul that owns its shadows plants a brighter seed to sow.

Enoch saw beyond the curtain, not to make the fearful freeze,
But to tell us every heartbeat bends the future to our knees.
You can’t conquer hate with hatred. You can’t heal by feeding blame.
The strongest warrior stands humble, lets the refining fire change.

The battle isn’t flesh alone
It’s every choice to harden stone,
Or let compassion break the walls
Before another empire falls.

Raise your eyes above the smoke,
Hear the ancient promise spoken.
Darkness echoes, light replies;
Truth is living, never dies.

Walk the road where mercy leads,
Faith is louder than deceit.
Every soul must freely choose
Love’s the victory we can’t lose.

The dawn is calling… can you hear?
Hope keeps rising year by year.
When the sleeping finally see,
The chains will break… and all are free.

Inspiration Mirror Made of Fire

They wear a crown made of borrowed gold,
A thousand stories they never told.
Pointing fingers at a wounded soul,
While hiding cracks they can’t control.

The healer walks with an open heart,
But the shadow hates when the truth gets sparked.
So they throw their pain like a loaded flame,
Then blame the mirror for showing their face.

Oh, the mask gets heavy when the night comes down,
When the fake applause fades from the crowd.
You can paint the walls, you can rewrite the scene,
But the eyes reveal what the mouth can’t clean.

We’re the thunder shaking the walls of illusion,
The wildfire burning through false conclusions.
Love ain’t weak, and truth ain’t blind,
You can’t bury light forever in the mind.

You can steal a voice, but you can’t steal a soul,
You can play the victim, but the truth keeps whole.
The mirror isn’t cruel when it shows what’s real,
It’s the doorway where the broken learn to heal.

They whisper poison, then offer a smile,
Build a bridge just to walk away miles.
A theater of chaos, a costume parade,
A kingdom of shadows that they built from afraid.

The philosopher asks, “Who are you beneath?”
The spirit asks, “What do you really seek?”
Because hatred is hunger wearing a disguise,
And the heart keeps begging for a love it denies.

We’re the thunder shaking the walls of illusion,
The wildfire burning through false conclusions.
Love ain’t weak, and truth ain’t blind,
You can’t bury light forever in the mind.

Hey!
Everybody wanna talk like they run the whole show,
But the loudest little kings screaming truth, are the ones with the smallest ego.
Throwing dirt in the air like it’s gonna stay,
Then wondering why they’re covered at the end of the day.

Act sweet in the spotlight, switch up backstage,
Same old script, just a different page.
But the universe keeps receipts, don’t you know?
Every seed that you plant got a way to grow.

Stop chasing the throne made of plastic and pride,
The richest soul is the one with nothing to hide.
Turn the hate into wisdom, let the darkness depart,
The greatest rebellion is a healed up heart!

We’re the thunder, we’re the flame,
We’re the ones who remember our name.
No more dancing for a hollow disguise,
No more worshiping beautiful lies.

Let the old world crumble, let the new one rise,
Let compassion become the battle cry.
The brightest stars don’t fight to be seen,
They simply shine where the darkness has been.

So let them chase shadows, let them play pretend,
Every false kingdom eventually ends.
The soul that chooses love becomes the storm,
A supernova heart where the light is reborn.

Discussion Anyone else dislikes INTJs but loves ENTPs?

As an INFP, I genuinely can’t stand intj. The superiority complex, the refusal to explore alternatives, the close-mindedness, the demeaning way they speak to you like they’re the smartest person alive and you’re lucky they’re even talking to you, etc…

Worst people ever. I have never had an interaction with an intj that didn’t end badly and I hope I never encounter one again.

Many of the best, open minded, intelligent people I know are entp. They are just fun and awesome, keep your mind stimulated, challenge you logically without the superiority complex or "talking down" that intj do, consider different perspectives, are not judgmental, make you laugh all day, etc…

I never got along with an intj despite that they’re one of our compatible types, but I seem to form a connection pretty easily with entps
