Went to a Braves game last night - spent 3x what I normally spend at a Falcons game. Blank is a man of the people.

I get it, we’ve missed the playoffs in 8 seasons. We’ve fucked up on hires, draft picks, and in key moments since the super bowl blunder. BUT WHY THE FUCK ARE YOU GUYS SO NEGATIVE?

I grew up a falcons fan, Vick flicked me off my first game. I was there during the “no real QB” Era before Matt Ryan. I’ve never seen our fanbase this fucking depressing. I can barely enjoy the idea of the season anymore without someone shitting on a player or coach. It feels like you guys hope that the team will fail to continue to prove yourselves right that the falcons can never win the big one. Can we start having optimism as fans? Showing up to games and not having the opposing team outshine us? This will start the build of a winning culture… WE HAD THAT ENRGY IN 2012-2016…. Where tf did the real fans go.

Football's almost back. Got myself a new Falcons jersey and I'm ready for my annual dose of hope followed by a healthy amount of disappointment.

I found this game worn Falcons jersey from the 1978 season. With “Hawkins” on the back? Number would suggest kicker or QB but no record of a “Hawkins” on the roster OR signed or cut during preseason?

Only thought is it could be for broadcaster and former falcon Alex Hawkins who joined the team as a color commentator for the ‘78 season.

The white over the number and around the Falcons sleeve logo has faded over the years - leaving only the silver. And the jocktag is an exact match with a Bartkowski jersey from the same season.

Please tell me somebody has the keys to this mystery!

12 starts only 1 game was out of reach. 9 of those 12 should’ve been automatic winners.

I like his ability to step up in big games

I thought this run was going perfect once the defense reached 99, but I lost two one-score games by a combined four points.

Desmond Trufant ended up as the strongest weighted starter, while Jonathan Babineaux was listed as the weakest link.
