Ring of Honor

Upvotes

I'm happy Brooks and Trumpy both got the selection for the Ring of Honor. AJ Geno and plenty of the other guys have so much time to be able to get in. We need to make sure these older legends get in before they pass so they can actually feel the love from the city one last time. Ken Riley never got his moment for the Ring of Honor or Hall of Fame. Trumpy won't get his moment this year. Personally I think the Bengals since being the most recent team to add a ring of honor need to go back and induct all of these legends throughout the season so their isn't situations where even if the newer player is more "deserving" we feel obligated to vote the older guys to give them their moment while they are still here.

Rumor Anyone know why Annie Agar is here?

She’s in town and said it’s for a big NFL announcement, but I have no idea what that would be, or why it would take place here.

I saw someone else say this, but why haven't we signed Bobby Wagner?

With our linebacker core being so young I think he would be a great mentor, and also seeing him on the Commanders I still think he has a bit left in the tank to provide for us

So, Each orange square represents a home game and the black one an away game, with Week 1, 2, 3, etc., slotted in accordingly; a white tile is placed to indicate a win or a loss, and the trophy is moved along to track which game is currently being played.

what do you guys think, i would love some opinion, thank you see ya :)

Can't say I disagree with his placement. Though there are some odd placements like Minter and McCarthy.

ELI5: Flexible scheduling

I'm buying tickets as a birthday gift for my dad who is a huge Bengals fan. His birthday is in December so looking at buying tickets for one of the December home games. I noticed on Ticketmaster that these games are marked with a warning about flexible scheduling.

I've tried to look into this, and have completely failed at understanding what this means. I know nothing about football.

Is anyone able to break down what this means and explain it to me like I'm 5? I understand that it seems like there's different rules for different days of the week (i.e. The Sunday game on Dec 13 vs. the Thursday game on NYE) but don't understand what exactly is changing or if the times currently posted are accurate.

Many thanks in advance!!!

Fandom Biggest one game wonders in Bengals history?

Hi friends! I’m working on a video project and I want your all’s take on who the biggest one game wonder in Bengals history is. Essentially, who is our Jonas Gray?

Criteria:
- Mostly remembered as a Bengal (why I’m hesitant to put Antwan Odom in my video)
- Brief career with that one magical game
- Unrelated, but I’m pretty drunk rn
- Looking for an overall great performance rather than a signature moment
- Bonus points if the player, out of nowhere, became the focal point of the offense
- Mostly a non-factor before and after that game

The Bengals perimeter positions on each side of the ball represent the elite talent on their roster

But also brings similar risks

Should we worry about the depth of these positions?

Drunk fantasy draft

just an fyi if you’re drafting from the 3rd pick in a 12 man league you can realistically end with a team of:

1.03 Jamar
2.10 Chase Brown
3.03 who cares
4.10 Tee
5.03 Burrow

Analyzing the Bengals 2026 UDFA Class

Thumbnail bengalsupnorth.com

In my article, I take a look at each of the Bengals UDFA signings.

A few of my favourites:

OT, Christian Jones

You can see the potential. 6’9”, 345 lbs, but moves also very well. Can protect against speed around the edge and handle power. He’ll need a good bit of work on the technical side of things. Footwork is sloppy. Hand technique, pad level etc. It will take some time, but this is one of those few instances where you could see a pretty clear path to a UDFA becoming a starter down the line, IF he can put it all together.

WR, Noah Thomas

He was buried on Georgia’s depth chart, but he is a size/speed prospect with the tools to take advantage of a bigger opportunity. His route running will need to improve, and he’ll need to get stronger. Most of his issues are fixable, and this is another ball of clay for the coaches to hopefully shape into a contributor. I’m excited to see him in the preseason. Hopefully he gets a good workload.

LB, Eric Gentry

A 6’7” off the ball LB with a lean frame. Definitely a pretty unique profile. I didn’t quite see enough when he got edge rushing opportunities, but I wonder if he is a bit too limited laterally to be a sideline to sideline LB who can also cover. But his length, burst and straight line speed make for an interesting combo. This might be a case of finding a niche role that suits his skill set. Special teams is also where he could/should contribute if he sneaks onto the roster.

RB, Jamal Haynes

It isn’t surprising that a 5’6” RB went undrafted. But I was pleasantly surprised with his tape. He’s got a compact build and can handle contact in the trenches. He is also decently agile to create some space for himself. This isn’t to say he’ll be a world beater, but he has enough tools to carve out a role for himself. He’ll have to improve in the passing game, both as a receiver and in protection.

What UDFA’s will you be keeping an eye on in camp?
