By far the biggest thing we remove here is people trying to find or let rooms, sell tickets, and other bits and bobs.
But likely not enough to survive on its own as a dedicated sub. So we'll carve out this space here. Please use it to list anything you're interested in, or are trying to part with.
And be mindful of who you give your personal details out to! We'll not be providing escrow or verification!

Last time I checked on Google it said permanently closed, but now it has active business hours? I tried to stop by today because it said it was open and I was in town but the shutter was down.
Has anyone seen it open recently? I also got an advert on Facebook for it recently so surely it is open at least sometimes?
Anyways I had a lovely experience browsing at 7th Magpie instead, highly recommend :)

Any thoughts on the best way to get from Hillsborough park to s12 after the Saturday Tramlines session?
I've heard the trams stop running. Tempted to walk straight in to town but we have 10 year old with us.
Any tips/tricks welcome

Hey Sheffield! 👋
I am part of a local design team working on a digital project, and we need your unfiltered opinions.
Too often, public health websites are built without actually talking to the people who are supposed to use them. We want to change that, but we need your help to make sure our new designs and ideas actually make sense.
We are looking for a few more locals to complete a quick survey and then join a relaxed, 45-minute video call to tell us what you think of an existing website. In exchange for your time, we’ll send you a £15 e-voucher (£5 for completing the survey, £10 for participating in the video call).
We only have 5 spots left for our final session on Tuesday 28th August at 7pm. If you are free and want to help out, drop a comment or send me a DM and I’ll share the details - thank you 🙏
Henry

Just to make people aware that my van was broken in to in the early hours today in the Hillsborough area. They stole one piece of machinery but luckily I remove the expensive stuff every day. I just want to make people aware that thieves are active in the area.

This weekend I’ll be visiting my first ever festival in the UK. I’ve got a VIP weekend ticket and am looking to be at the festival fairly early each day (around 12am-1pm).
On the Sunday, I’m seeing my favourite band at the Leadmill Stage at 18:45. I was wondering if it’s necessary to be camping at that stage all day long, and if it’s necessary to get to the festival early for any good spot at the main stage or leadmill stage. What time do people usually show up at this festival?

Been to a few of the wine places in Sheffield down eccy road and just found them to be an air of snobbery. I don't know loads but myself and my partner like to go out every now and then and enjoy
Was wandering for all the drinkers of the sub Reddit where do the they recommend for some food glasses of wine where it doesn't feel like I need a suit and tie???

Hi guys, so basically I have some cooked food that's already frozen, once I will be moving to my accomodation I won't have enough space in my own freezer to keep it (rn I am in an Airbnb), it's around 5-6 boxes of food. I only need to store it for a month like until End of August, any suggestions for what I can do? (Can't rent a freezer and bring it to my accomodation cause they don't allow external appliances)

The new drop off area is 50% taxi space. I'm there right now and there's a huge queue of cars and no taxis waiting as taxis have their own area anyway. Why have they done this?
They should honestly just build a proper drop off area as the current system is awful during busy times.

As the title says I’ve had one fitted recently and I am struggling with and would like to meet up with people in similar situations to help each other out.
Long shot I know but any help appreciated
I tried the official avenues and they’re just way to formal and I want something more casual where we can joke about it abit.

Hey everyone,
Just had to move to Sheffield due to DV issues where I used to live, and a friend told me that reddit forums are a good place to come for advice.
Ive had to basically use all my benefits money to pay the upfront costs and moving costs in order to move (and it was worth it!), but its left me kind of screwed for the month.
Does anyone know anywhere like any food banks/ food support in Sheffield?
Also anyone know of any support groups for DV victims that will also accept men that have been victims of DV?
Thank you all

I want to start building muscle and doing strength training but have never consistently been to a gym before and have only ever visited as a guest on friends passes. Are there any gyms that are particularly good for people starting out? I'm looking for stuff in the Broomhall area but I also wouldn't mind heading into the city centre if there're gyms there that are highly recommended

I love discovering new cafes, settings and new coffee beans and was wondering what your favourite coffee shops are in Sheffield.
I've been out the country for a few years so looking forward to your suggestions on where to get the best cup of Joe.
