now I understand that not every country has a defined national dish and that some countries have many different regions with different cuisines. in that case I will make the one that you guys agree on best represents Seychelles. please let me know what you think

Staying at FS Mahe. Any recommendations for restaurants either at FS or rest of the island? Also what activities should we look into? boat day or hikes?

This is a long shot but was anyone here booked on the Turkish Air flight from Mahe to Istanbul on June 13th 2026 that was cancelled? This was a codeshare flight that showed as HM (hi fly?) operated by Air Seychelles.

We were never notified by the airline of the cancellation, never got contacted for rebooking, never got contacted for accommodations. We had fully refundable tickets and have not been able to get in touch with anyone for our refund and have not seen a dime.

We only found out the flight was officially cancelled because the driver from Mason’s who was scheduled to take us from hotel to the airport called and said it was cancelled. Air Seychelles website never updated. We had to call the airport directly to confirm the cancellation and ask our hotel concierge to get involved to contact their connect at the airline.

Air Seychelles is a bogus airline and now we are desperately trying to pursue our refund and to do so we need information from Air Seychelles. We cannot get any straight answer from Turkish. We can’t get in touch with anyone at Air Seychelles. We are desperate.

Is anyone else in the same situation?

I’m looking for a reliable local tour company in Seychelles that can curate complete activity packages for incoming tourists.

The goal is simple: manage the entire guest activities under one roof. Day 1: Activities A, B, C; Day 2: Activities D, E, F, and so on. If you need to partner with other trusted local agencies to cover certain activities, that works, as long as the client experience is seamless.

I’ve successfully built and scaled this model in other countries, and it works exceptionally well. If you’re a tour operator who can handle this, I would love to shed more light on this.
