Hi! So I'm ready to make make the pre-order on the ultra 2 and trade in my watch 8. I've used the watch 8 for about a year and I have really enjoyed it and how comfortable and unobtrusive on the wrist it is - but I just can't resist the new 800mAh battery on the ultra 2. It will be well worth the money after trade in to gain that much more battery life. I have never had a smartwatch that is LTE and have always stuck with just Wi-Fi capable models. Unfortunately, the US isn't offering a wifi only option on the Ultra 2 and personally I don't want or need the LTE. It would be really nice to have on my nightly run so I don't have to bring my phone but to me it isn't worth paying for a monthly LTE plan. My question is, if I don't enroll in a LTE plan for the watch, will it still function the same as any other watch that is only wifi enabled? My assumption is yes, all functionality will be there but be dependant on wifi/my s26u, but I wonder if many other ultra watch users forgo an LTE plan and use it as is and if that impacts their experience in anyway.

On a sidenote, I've decided on the titanium grey colorway over the silver and am curious which colorway everyone else is leaning towards?

I got the watch 7 44mm for free when I traded in my Watch 5 Pro a few years ago. The battery life on my watch 7 is bad, so I'm thinking about getting the Ultra 2. Dunno if it's worth $368 to me. What do you guys think? What features does it really add besides a huge battery upgrade?

wasn't too sure what flair to use since it's my first post in this subreddit,, tldr i know the medicine feature is locked out in the UK and apparently they've gotten rid of most ways to change the settings so you're able to access it. i wanted to know if there's a way currently with UI 8 or if it js won't work until samsung finally decides to cough over the feature

I have a Pixel Watch 3. I've been a Pixel guy for a long time, but just recently got a Samsung phone. I had a watch 5 back in the day and frankly was not that impressed with it.

Anyways, after switching back to Samsung, I was looking at the Watch 9. It's super expensive! But I can get the Watch 8 for a decent price on Amazon in the wake of the Watch 9 dropping.

I've heard mostly bad things about the Watch 8. Are they legit? Is it really that bad? How's it compare to the Pixel Watch 3? I don't mind charging daily or every other day as that's how I currently use my pixel watch anyway.

What should I do? Is the Galaxy Watch a better experience now? Is it worth saving some money to get the 8?

Does anyone know if the straps from previous Galaxy Watch Ultra will fit on this latest Ultra 2?

Sorry if this has come up before, but recently ive come across a bug on my Galaxy watch ultra (fully updated) where if I set a timer and let it run for a bit, like on my lunch break, and answer a call during that time, it'll just completely wipe the timer for some reason as though ive never set it. No vibration notification, no silent notification, nothing at all. It's caused me to miss clocking back in a couple times as at first I didnt know why, but I figured the calls must be doing it since it's mainly happened when I answer one. Just thought it was a bit odd though hopefully someone can help as i don't believe my old GW7 has this issue.

Clearly still early/pre-release, but has anyone seen any reviews/descriptions of the new PeakForm band yet or been hands-on with it and can provide some thoughts on what's it like?

I like how it looks in the official marketing but I believe the last PeakForm design had some durability/staining issues.

I have been getting Samsung devices through Samsungs web store for years now. So far none of my trade ins seems to go bad as some other peoples have. But I did have two questions for the Samsung Watch9.

First when I looked the payment options the one where its only like 14 a month is through  Samsung Financing. But the "Pay in Four" is through Klarna or Affirm. I used to have a  Samsung Financing account via TD bank. But they got rid of TD bank like two years ago. My last Samsung purchases were through Affirm. Did Samsung go back to Samsung Financing and TD Bank? Or is their new Samsung credit card?

The Samsung Watch I have to trade in is my Watch 7. I see the way to put on the bands on the watch 9 looks way easier then the watches up to 7. I tended to struggle with putting the bands on. Since a new watch 9 would void all my old bands, is the new way much easier to put on?

The pictures say it all, wasn't anticipating upgrading but this price is too good to pass up.

I am stuck with multiple extra galaxy watch 6s after my sister tried getting me a refurbished one off of Amazon. It arrived with scratches on the screen and the paint was rubbed off the side. So my sister contacted Amazon support and they said to just discard the watch instead of sending it back. They sent me another watch, in basically the same exact condition. Again they said to discard it rather than send it back.

Finally my sister decided to just buy me a brand new watch since Amazon clearly doesn't know what refurbished means. So now I am stuck with multiple extra galaxy watches that work perfectly fine. They just collect dust on a shelf in my bedroom.

It would be great if I could give one of the watches to my boyfriend, especially since he just started a new job. But he has an iPhone. I know they aren't really compatible, but is there any way he could get some use out of the watch so it doesn't just sit and collect dust? He can set it up using my phone.

Anybody else encounter this?

Simple question. The galaxy watch is the only screen I have and I just purchased a copy of The Odyssey on Blue Ray for $4 so I want to watch it. If there's any apps that can help me with this, that would be great.

TLDR: I purchased the Odyssey on Blue Ray from a classic style street vendor who was selling a bunch of other movies which I also bought (I spent like $100). They're mostly in the blue ray format for which I bought a player from him for like $6 or something. I just want to hook up the blue ray player to my galaxy watch since it's the only screen I have. The Blue Ray player only has a VGA output so I think I might also need an adaptor? Let me know!

I just ordered the galaxy watch 9 and was charged extra for the watch band. Samsung customer support says that a watch band is not included. I've had galaxy 8,7,6 5..... and the watch band has always been included.

I recently decided to check for deals on the 8 classic because I thought to myself. I do like classics.

I found a brand new Watch 8 Classic White for around 185 dollars.

If you guys got the opportunity, would you guys go for that over the newest Ultra 2?

I have to adjust my stock Samsung 7 watch band often when working out. I've tried fabric bands but they hold sweat too much. Like to get something easily adjusted and sweat proof and comfortable. Suggestions please, thanks!

Does anyone have any idea why the watch 6 Classic model is not listed as an option to trade in on the Ultra 2 page? Makes no sense.

Edit: on the 2025 Ultra the 6 and the 6 classic are listed out separately but with the same trade in value, so I guess the assumption is the 6 $50 trade in on the Ultra 2 is the same as the 6 classic?
