I don't like the squircle, typically a "classic" guy and they didn't even do a classic this year. Any chance next year comes with a galaxy watch that isn't ugly? Vaguely remember folks claiming Samsung said they missed the mark with classic last year but that seems to have been false. Really hoping we're not stuck with this "we haphazardly glued a circle on this square" look forever

Hey there everyone, I recently purchased the watch ultra, fully charged at 6 am and by 4 in the afternoon it was at 40% is that normal?

Is anyone else seeing this on their orders around the world. I was trying to find more information about it, but couldn't.

Eh, the releases of everything for me were ridiculously silly, not even the presentations and videos were good, certainly for those who have older models they will be more interesting products. Anyway, I was excited for the new OneUI of watches, I always liked to follow metrics. Is there a prediction of when they will start releasing updates for the Watch 8, then the Watch 7? I have my custom Samsung Health and seeing those widgets without anything, hopefully in OneUI 9 of smartphones there will be new widgets for the desktop.

Are the lumping the classic in with the 6 for trade ins with the Ultra 2? I don't see the classic as a trade in option, just Galaxy Watch 6.

I've turned my Galaxy S22 off and on and rebooted the watch too. I've also reset the watch and restored from backup but I keep getting this error with the July 5 update

Hello guys. After seeing the review of the new galaxy watch ultra 2 i'm convinced not to upgrade from 2024 ultra until next year at least. Aside new chip ( which isn't more snappier than 2024 version ) and " bigger battery or brightness " I see no reason to upgrade. The 2024 is still very good as long as it gets updates. The battery life is great so far, 3.5 days with everything turned on except AOD.

Looking at the specs on the website for the Ultra2, it lists something new compared to older watches:

Does mean it can connect to an external chest heart rate strap?

If so, it's an instant buy for me. I work out with kettlebells, so I can't wear a watch while working out. It would get instantly smashed.

Simple question. The galaxy watch is the only screen I have and I just purchased a copy of The Odyssey on Blue Ray for $4 so I want to watch it. If there's any apps that can help me with this, that would be great.

TLDR: I purchased the Odyssey on Blue Ray from a classic style street vendor who was selling a bunch of other movies which I also bought (I spent like $100). They're mostly in the blue ray format for which I bought a player from him for like $6 or something. I just want to hook up the blue ray player to my galaxy watch since it's the only screen I have. The Blue Ray player only has a VGA output so I think I might also need an adaptor? Let me know!

Which one looks like the better value this year: the regular Watch9 or the Ultra2?

It just looks too masculine for my liking. I wish we could have the option to buy it without the bezel. I'd throw my money instantly at them. I guess I'll stick with the regular watches.

If even with the new diving capability and new IP rating they still tell you that water damage is not covered it is straight up scam.

Confirmed by online agent. Cannot believe there is absolutely no trade in bonus. Such a bummer, I will stick with my watch 5, and see if there is further price drop with watch 8.

It's been quite some time since Samsung announced the new Samsung Health features, but most of them require One UI 9 Watch to actually work. I've been looking forward to trying them out, but there's still no update on older Galaxy Watches.

Does anyone have any idea when Samsung plans to roll out One UI 9 Watch? Did they mention anything about the release timeline during today's Galaxy Unpacked event, or was there no announcement at all?
