The problem is that their abilities are limitless and free to act as the script dictates: altering consciousness and erasing memories, creating clones, forcing the host to mutate, you can even install it in your car and once you've collected all six, you can use them to recreate the universe as you wish. The last one is fine, but everything else sounds like a plot device.

Let's compare Reactors with Chaos Emeralds. Emeralds was simple. Yes, they're simple, but at the same time, they were entirely dependent on the user's emotions. You can't just use power, you have to be mentally prepared. The Reactor Might doesn't have these limitations, and ultimately, it becomes a "Swiss Army Knife".
