Hello. I'm a Chinese Canadian. I am 5'6 tall and wear glasses. I'd like to think I have slightly better than average looks but you can be the judge. I am willing to send my photos early. I've reached a point in my life where I've become painfully aware that I don't really have anyone I feel deeply connected to. I'm a PC gamer and I don't have any consoles at the moment sadly. I play a lot of games and hopefully you do as well! I'd love to have somebody to play co-op with! I play a wide variety of genres but my favourites will always be RPG games such as Assassin's Creed, Borderlands, Persona, Dragon Age, The Witcher, Fallout and The Elder Scrolls. Hello there! As mentioned in my title (You did read the title, I hope? I put a lot of effort into it.), I'm a 29-year-old guy living in the mystical, magical land of \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\*checks notes\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\* England. That noise you just heard is me letting out a long sigh. Okay, maybe not so magical. All the dragons are in Wales, Excalibur has been melted down for scrap, and Hogwarts is in Scotland.

I currently work in a law firm. Sadly I'm not a lawyer, as that would mean I'd be earning shedloads more, but actually I do admin work for them, earning considerably less than shedloads. But it's a fine job, I get on well with my coworkers, and I'm not down a coal mine or sweeping chimneys, so I consider that a win.

As for me myself? Well, I actually speak multiple languages. I'm a fluent German speaker, and I also have a decently high level of Italian. I could also struggle through French if I had to, and I have basic Spanish and Japanese. I would like to learn more languages, although it's hard to find the time to do any study of them, what with the problems of having an adult life with adult responsibilities!

We'll see how it ends up, but I've wanted to write a book since I was 13 or so, and now as an adult I'm finally doing something about it!

In terms of pop culture, I'm a huge Doctor Who fan. Like, I'm the sort of Doctor Who fan who knows what a telerecording is and can tell you about the Australian censor clips. That kind of fan. I also finally got into Harry Potter last year after putting it off for my whole life, meaning I now finally know the context for Dumbledore asking calmly.

I'm also getting back into Pokémon somewhat after avoiding it for most of the Switch era. Other things I enjoy are The Elder Scrolls, Red Dead, GTA (Currently replaying RDR2). I'm big Assassin's Creed fan too. In general I like single player, open world games. I'm not a huge multiplayer guy, I don't like having other people ruining my fun!

I'm trying to read more too lately. That's a thing I've always enjoyed that I'm now trying to find the time for again. I'm in a book club at work, where we express such hot takes as "Thursday Murder Club is a bit rubbish, actually".

And I suppose I should say, I'm a fat guy. Trying to do something about it though! Over the past year or so I've started a regimen of exercise, and I've been controlling my eating a lot more. A little about me: I’m a strong introvert, but not shy. I like spending time alone or with people close to me, I’m not really the party-going type.

My hobbies include music, especially gothic and doom metal, but I also enjoy other genres. Video games, particularly RPGs and strategy games. Books, especially fantasy. I like watching movies and TV shows. I also enjoy walking in nature, skiing and scuba diving, I’m an advanced diver. I’m also interested in science in the broad sense and history, I can read for hours about historical events that catch my interest.

As for my physical appearance, I'm 178 cm tall, I'm slim, I have short black hair and gray-green eyes.

I am an engineer with a college degree, and I work in my field. Even so, I'm still thinking about continuing my education, while I still can and want to.

I don't smoke, I stay away from any drugs, I drink very rarely, and always in small amounts, usually when someone has a birthday. I prefer to have a cup of coffee or tea, especially if it's strongly brewed.

I have a fairly liberal, somewhat left-leaning worldview, issues like human rights and environmental protection are important to me. I was raised as a catholic as a child, but now I’m an agnostic and don’t follow any religion. I speak English and Polish.

What I'm looking for is someone with whom I could build a stable relationship based on shared interests and at least somewhat similar worldviews. I believe that, contrary to some sayings, opposites don't actually attract, and that's why it's so hard for me to meet someone in real live.

I tend to age regress involuntarily when I'm in my comfort zone, but not to a very young age, I would say I'm more of a middle. I really like being childlike in my behavior and speech, and I'm scared of doing some grown-up things like driving or going to the doctor by myself. I love to snuggle in a blankie and cuddle with my favorite teddy bear at bedtime, it's hard for me to sleep without that. And I like making pillow forts for me to hide inside! I'm also a bit of a crybaby.

I'd love being with someone caring and protective. Someone who'd hold me and make me feel safe, speak to the waiter on my behalf at the restaurant, hold the door open for me, stuff along those lines! I'm also an atheist and would highly prefer my partner be the same or similar in that aspect. And I'd be most comfortable meeting people who are under 35 years old ^^

To add a bit more about myself, I spend most of my day in my room, working on random nerdy stuff, watching youtube or TV shows and movies, playing PC games, and sometimes I'm just sat there staring at a wall hehe. I also enjoy going out on walks, having fun with diy rc vehicles and hanging out with stray cats! I'm entirely self-educated, proper schools don't exist where I live. I've always been into learning about the things that pique my interest from youtube and other online platforms ever since I was little! I love fixing things and understanding what makes them tick, and working on random projects like custom smart home stuff with ESP32s, high voltage stuff like tesla coils, long-range radios, hardware hacking, etc! I value privacy and I'm strongly against mass surveillance, I try to avoid any online service that's known to disrespect user privacy and use open-source software whenever possible, like running Linux on my computers, de-googled Android on my phones, and self-hosting my own services like Immich, Home Assistant and cloud storage!
