Speaking of smiles: About 6 months after my divorce, I went downtown to have dinner and drinks with some friends. As I was walking back to my car alone (I know! I will never do this again!) I was assaulted by 3 guys. They beat me so bad I had broken ribs, broken clavicle, broken facial bones, broken jaw, fractured eye socket and burst ear drum. Other things too, that i don't want to go into. I have no visible scars from the assault, but many mental ones. I'm also, 4 years later, reminded daily of what happened because due to my burst ear drum, I lost most of my hearing in my right ear and they also couldn't save my top teeth (my bottom are fine) so I'm now forced to wear an upper denture. You can't tell by looking at or talking to me.

I wanted to give you my biggest red flags so you can make a more informed decision on whether to respond or not. I really hope they don't scare you away but wanted to be honest.

I never imagined I'd be writing a post like this, but here I am, hoping that maybe the right person will come across it.

I'm a pediatrics resident from India. I spend most of my days and nights in the hospital taking care of children, which means my life can get very hectic. There are long duties, sleepless nights, emergency calls, and days when I don't even realize how quickly time has passed. If I ever reply late, it is almost never because I'm not interested. It's usually because a tiny patient needed me more at that moment. I hope to meet someone who can understand that part of my life and be patient with it. I may not always be available, but when I am, you'll have my full attention.

I'm an introvert, so I don't open up to people very quickly. I usually need time to feel comfortable, but once I do, I love having long conversations about almost anything. I enjoy anime, reading manga, listening to music, reading books whenever I can, and learning about different cultures and people's lives. Hi! Im not so good at writing about myself but i figured id put myself out there as i have so much love to give.

I am white 5'8/5'9 american boy with an average build. I usually have my hair long, but as of eight now its rather short as im aiming to look like a character from a show.

I work a full time job 11-8 5 days a week wednesday through sunday and the other 2 days off i spend with my family mostly. I spend my time after work till i sleep with my online friends and that either consists of playing games or getting on my vr headset and interacting with them through there, one of my favorite things to do is voice impressions of many characters. I do also hang around younger people (like teenagers), but OBVIOUSLY as just friends. I live under the belief that age should not stop 2 people with common interest from getting along. Plus as an "older" person i can give them helpful advice as i was their age at one point ha ha, but of course i do have friends my age its just that i have friends of all ages really.

Im a very fun and caring person, i like to "troll" but not in a mean spirited way and i make obvious of my jokes. Everyone that knows me would say nothing but good things. Reason i dont have somebody despite all this? Well truth be told im just shy... i have confidence in myself but im also not the type to go out of my way just to try to catch someone. I like letting things take its course as to not get too hopeful or jump too far... ive been with girls, boys, and even a trans before so i can safely say ive tried it all ha ha and ive settled on girls. They all did fall out sadly but not in a bad way, just grew apart.

I really hope someone someday can see the heart i have and truly want it in their lives. I love my friends and family more than anything and i wouldnt be here without them. If you could find a place for me and my people, i promise you could not be in a better place. I hope to meet you soon.

Now I’ll explain a little bit about my self, my hobbies, personality, and interests.

I am a very funny and deeply emotional person. I pick up on others emotions extremely quickly and generally try to react and help them feel though it. I try to be genuinely helpful and explain my thought processes any time I can, even when I might be wrong. This sometimes leads me to think I’m over explaining or rambling.

When I said I’m very funny, I mean it. I consistently make my coworkers and friends laugh with 1 liners in groups, but 1 on 1 I am extremely witty and flirtatious but also absurd. If you don’t find humor in absurdity we might not connect. An example of a joke I made recently was a one liner off of my coworkers joke. My manager asked him what he did for the day, and he started sarcastically listing things like “ opened strait of Hormuz, solved Iran war, solved world hunger…” and things like that. I then replied “WOW, he did all the in 1 day?!!!?!? Imagine what he will do tomorrow!”

And I thought that was pretty funny.

I’m deeply analytical and analyzing media is one of my hobbies. When I watch a show or movie, I have to be able to take some moral or artistic lesson away from it, and it also has to be fun to watch or read or listen.

I absolutely love music of ALL KINDS.

From very underground stuff line hyperpop that I would be surprised if you have heard of, to post hardcore and metal, to Kendrick Lamar and even Michael Jackson. I love music so much and listen constantly.

I also like video games, mostly multiplayer team games like marvel rivals.

I have a dog.
