You can have the best gear, perfect lighting and a clear shot of a bird and still miss the shot! 🤣

This Pied Kingfisher was photographed in Uganda.

A few days ago a surfer who happened to be a great birder spotted a lesser frigatebird! As soon as the rare bird message went out I realized it was only 15 mins from my house so I drove over and got some pretty nice photos! It was really hot and heat haze affected the photos a little but overall I’m stoked to even see this bird.

This bird was super close. This crop is still pretty heavy, but when you have 68 megapixels, you can afford it. I love the detail these cameras get these days.

Sooo I took this photo yesterday and I noticed that it actually kinda looks like as if it’s one bird taken at different times but it’s 3 at once! Does it not??

Love the mishmash of colors, these tanagers are whisper quiet, easy to spot, almost impossible to hear

But was very excited to get some pictures of my local raven

He stayed for about 30 minutes enjoying the warm wind

Love birds and photography but new to editing. Looking for some feedback or guidance on post production or where to start.

I like both of these recent photos and besides brightness I wouldn't think to adjust much. But looking for feedback to improve my pictures. Thanks!
