The graduate section is taught by Dr. Corrine Buchanan, LMHC, LMFT, Certified Mindfulness Teacher, and the undergraduate section is taught by Kristen McCallum, LMHC. Both are experienced licensed mental health counselors with a lot of skills and techniques to share.

how's my schedule looking? not a freshman, but i have other responsibilities this fall and looking for reassurance that my schedule won't be an issue.

I'm also taking two 3-credit courses (EEL3872 and IDS2338) on top of the other courses shown, totaling 13 credits.

For those who don't know, MUN1110 is marching band.

Question What do the numbers mean in Murphree room code?

For privacy, I won't use my actual numbers, but the gist is this "Murphree Hall - 0211-3"

It's a Traditional Large Triple Room. What does the 3 mean?

Classes Calc 2 or 3

hello everybody i’m an incoming freshman who’s planning on studying engineering. I am coming in with credits from a 5 on AP Calculus BC which lets me skip through calc 2 straight to calc 3. My advisor went ahead and put calc 3 on my schedule. Has anyone else gone through this same thing? Do you recommend skipping calc 2 and just self-studying (because i know it’s considered a hard weed out class), or should i retake calc 2 to get a good base?

Question In Dire Need of Financial Help

Submitted Financial Aid Revision Petition, mother was in hospital this year and insurance says that she owes over 26k. however, hospital is unable to generate statement with this, and financial aid admins previously rejected EOBs. also submitted previously rejected legal debt, but provided more context for it as it was incurred for my mother having lawyers protect me, get restraining orders, etc., provided restraining order and supporting counselor letter proving situation is true.

i am first gen and desperately need mfos, mother’s current AGI is 111,666 but this should get her income hopefully deducted to the 30ks. Someone please help me with this, i’ve been going crazy and having panic attacks over this.

Admissions Transfer from SF

I want to transfer to UF into CLAS for computer science, I have an A in calc 1, A in physics 1, and may end up with a C/C+ in calc 2. I have some withdrawals and C+ on my record, but have documented extenuating circumstances to back this situation up. Is transferring into UF for spring 2027 going to work out for me? Does anyone have any tips on how to improve my application? Has anyone had a similar situation and gotten accepted?

Question Sports at UF.

So I’m a upcoming freshman who is going to start in the fall 2026 term. Recently moved to gainesville from jacksonville. So currently no friends so was wondering if I could use the UF gyms even though my tuition hasn’t been paid yet, but I do have bright futures.

Also I’m pretty into basketball, so if anyone got info on how I could play basketball recreationallly that would be nice.

Classes Chem 2 exams

Hi guys! I'm taking chem 2 (CHM2046) this upcoming fall and was told the exams are different per professor. For chem 1, this wasn't the case (everyone, regardless of who their proffesor was, had the same exams). Is my friend wrong or is this actually the case for chemistry 2? I just have never heard of this before.

If so, which one out of the three should I take: Ashyln hale, Ali Shafiee, and David Richardson. Prof.Hale has the most review on rmp, but it's still pretty low.

I'd really appreciate any type of feedback as I already struggle with chemistry (don't need any additional worksheets or quizzes....I'm already struggling).

Question Avoiding APT parking prices

We all know apt parking prices are insane. I was just wondering if anyone parking at an off campus apartment would choose to park at another person’s house nearby. Obviously the cost would be much lower but it is less convenient. Anyone living at any of the off campus apts lmk if you would.

Classes COP3502 or COP3504C

I am an incoming freshman studying computer engineering and i have to make the decision between these two classes. I know you have to take discrete structures (COT 3100) with the accelerated class. I got a 4 on AP CSA in junior year but the class was in java, i understand these are in python and c++. Is COP3504C doable with Calc 3 and a humanities class?

Hi all! I’m enrolled in UF Online and planning out my upcoming schedule for the fall. I work full time and during summer, I took four classes but it was a bit overwhelming. I was wondering would this schedule be manageable for Fall or should I just drop one of them?

Classes Should I still take calc 2?

Upvotes

Hi! I’m an incoming freshman majoring in biology. I earned credit for calc 2 through calc BC, but I’m currently registered to retake calc 2 because I don’t feel prepared to move directly into calc 3. Since I don’t believe calc 3 is required for my biology major, would it be better that I retake Calc 2, or would it be better to replace it with another course?
