Hi! I’m an incoming freshman majoring in biology. I earned credit for calc 2 through calc BC, but I’m currently registered to retake calc 2 because I don’t feel prepared to move directly into calc 3. Since I don’t believe calc 3 is required for my biology major, would it be better that I retake Calc 2, or would it be better to replace it with another course?

hello everybody i’m an incoming freshman who’s planning on studying engineering. I am coming in with credits from a 5 on AP Calculus BC which lets me skip through calc 2 straight to calc 3. My advisor went ahead and put calc 3 on my schedule. Has anyone else gone through this same thing? Do you recommend skipping calc 2 and just self-studying (because i know it’s considered a hard weed out class), or should i retake calc 2 to get a good base?

We all know apt parking prices are insane. I was just wondering if anyone parking at an off campus apartment would choose to park at another person’s house nearby. Obviously the cost would be much lower but it is less convenient. Anyone living at any of the off campus apts lmk if you would.

I am an incoming freshman studying computer engineering and i have to make the decision between these two classes. I know you have to take discrete structures (COT 3100) with the accelerated class. I got a 4 on AP CSA in junior year but the class was in java, i understand these are in python and c++. Is COP3504C doable with Calc 3 and a humanities class?

I need 3 more technical elective credits for my chemE degree and I’m wondering what people have taken in the past that was pretty easy. This is my last semester of college don’t give me shit about asking for easy classes I’ve done plenty of hard classes 😭🥀

Where is the 2026 - 2027 financial aid package information I'm getting scared

Submitted Financial Aid Revision Petition, mother was in hospital this year and insurance says that she owes over 26k. however, hospital is unable to generate statement with this, and financial aid admins previously rejected EOBs. also submitted previously rejected legal debt, but provided more context for it as it was incurred for my mother having lawyers protect me, get restraining orders, etc., provided restraining order and supporting counselor letter proving situation is true.

i am first gen and desperately need mfos, mother’s current AGI is 111,666 but this should get her income hopefully deducted to the 30ks. Someone please help me with this, i’ve been going crazy and having panic attacks over this.

Anyone on here have experience with UF’s RN to BSN online program? I’m interested and wondering if anyone has had a positive or negative experience, and why. Is it fairly competitive? How was the application process? Thanks in advance!!

I want to transfer to UF into CLAS for computer science, I have an A in calc 1, A in physics 1, and may end up with a C/C+ in calc 2. I have some withdrawals and C+ on my record, but have documented extenuating circumstances to back this situation up. Is transferring into UF for spring 2027 going to work out for me? Does anyone have any tips on how to improve my application? Has anyone had a similar situation and gotten accepted?

I just signed a lease at Hub on 3rd for this fall, but their parking is way too expensive for my budget.
What are some cheaper parking options nearby? I was also looking at the SW Downtown Garage since it’s about a 20-minute walk. Is it safe to park there long-term, and is the walk back to Hub okay at night? Kindly let me know if there are any other options.

I’m planning on doing BME and I made my schedule for freshman fall, but im worried it might be too much. My advisor seemed convinced that it would be fine but I wanted to ask on here just to hear from people who have taken the classes.
(If room opens up in the lab for chem I was planning on joining it too, which would bring me to 18 credits)
