All,
I wanted to pass along an experience I've had with steam over the past month. Around early June, I was having consistent steam lack of connectivity issues during patching and download. This was the case for all steam systems on my home network, including computers and steam decks.
The issue was generally solved by clearing the download cache and/or switching the download region, which had to be done once every restart of the machine.
After being tired of this experience, I chased several of the logs including the connection and content_log with additional debug arguments passed to steam.
The IPv6 connection continually timed out (noting all other internet on these machines appeared normal). Upon disabling IPv6 on the local machine, steam began downloading games, updates, and patches as normal.
Just an anecdote from my side.
Cheers.
