Resolved I love you steam!

holy shit so I bought a steam giftcard at my local Walgreens and while scratching I scratched a little too hard and destroyed 2 letters. It made the code unusable, so when I used steam support, not even 2 hour after that the support team found my code and gave it to me free of charge!

For anyone who finds this and is in a similar situation, other big game storefronts that provide gift cards will do this as well.

They do? I thought because steam is getting rid of their physical gift cards because of scams is that they’ll eventually stop doing it

They do. Xbox, PS and Nintendo. Details are on their websites.

Oh, Apple also, because I once needed them to help with a damaged code, and they sorted it within minutes.
