Got a call today for a bruce wayne in jubilee! Told my AD that i was interested a few months ago and he called me today asking when I want to pick it up. Last year I got the call for a Wimbledon and sub date I july.

10th year anniversary milestone. Grateful beyond words.

Took a month for my AD to deliver these two stunning pieces.

I have to admit while I tend to prefer smaller watches, this wears unbelievably well for a big watch.

Which one would you choose ?

Walked into an AD in 2021 looking for a GMT II or a blue dial DJ on jubilee. Since nothing was available, I asked about this config, which was also not available.

Anyway, my AD finally replied after 5 years. 😂 I politely declined.

Picked up this 216570 from 2018, yesterday, and loving it! It feels like the least hype Rolex and just a bit quirky and interesting. For a 2018, the movement is running spectacularly well with near perfect rate and over 290 amplitude and love that I won't have to worry about the low amplitude issue of the 32xx movements and will remain serviceable forever with the regular swiss lever and serviceable barrel!

Took some fun close up shots with my phone and honestly the printing is pretty fantastic. I also love that even though they cover the hands and indices with black, they're still 18k white gold underneath.

AD just called me and said he had something in for me that I'd be very happy with and wanted to know if I could go in tomorrow. Of course I can go in tomorrow!

Can't wait to see what he has.

Let me start by saying that in 2026 I am aware there are watches out there far more reliable, sturdy, accurate, most importantly cheap/expendable to use than a luxury watch at that price point. However has any of you used/using their Explorer or OP for mountaineering/hiking, camping, mountain-biking, military activities or general outdoor “extreme” or none exteme adventurous operations/pass times etc) and what’s your experience thus far? I’d love to hear your stories.

It may not be the most complex or even the most sought after, but damn it feels right every time I look down.
