So we have a fursona; Sock. He/They/It demiboy, etc etc. But he is our sys wide sona we all see him kinda as us. we kinda ARE him in a way.

Like for our Littles he is just a baby and has no piercings/scars (pic is of baby Sock <3)

Our Host (age slider) has some piercings in the left ear and when a teen age he is more lanky teen boy like. (also for a few more alters)

And our Protector has SH scars all over (if we also have a little fronting they turn into the patterns that Rumi has in KPDH) and a semicolon piercing. And top surgy scars???????? (we havent gotten that (we want to tho) and foxs don't really need that)

20 NB, tested 2 months ago and officially diagnosed 1 month ago. I was tested two separate times and was given an OSDD preliminary diagnosis by a place that did not specialize in dissociative disorders. It was corrected by a specialist later on.

I don't like to know that yesterday (with some pieces of the memory gained thanks to the posts we made since I wasn't fronting), the bpd got bad that now I am here, without anything else to do.. Most of these folks have been in our system since we were like 16 or younger my gosh lol

I get such vivid phantom limb sensations, and then I suddenly remember that I don't actually have that kind of body and reality comes crashing down on me. Just in my feelings about the fact that I can literally feel my body, yet, when I look down or in the mirror, it's something completely different.

Horns, pawpads, my tail... none of them will ever be physically real. I've considered trying gear, but the whole concept just kind of leaves me feeling like it'll just remind me of what I don't have and make me more upset. -Milky

I've heard of, of course, cases where it seems the host speaks something like English but another headmate knows English and Spanish or something. I've also heard of, for example, maybe a Polish system where the host knows English and Polish but one headmate can only speak English. I think I heard of a system who speaks Japanese and English who has some headmates that only speak English or maybe only Japanese.

Most of my headmates form knowing English, and usually prefer to speak the language of whatever dub (we have a lot of fictives) they formed from. Our primary language is English, but we do know some Portuguese and Spanish. Therefore, many of the headmates, despite being Japanese and native Japanese speakers, also speak English. They also prefer English simply because we have next to no Japanese knowledge.

Craig/Gina (goes by two names), for example, speaks multiple languages. English, Spanish, Dutch, German and Portuguese. His native language is Spanish but he grew up in Germany and his mom is German, dad Cuban. Of course, with our slight Spanish knowledge, that's a huge preference of his, but we also speak English. He's known English since he was a little kid, though, and was born in the US. He also didn't form as a little or anything, so he always knew English in our system.

We can say our only example was Vee. Due to being native English speakers, Vee would be able to access our memories and learn quickly, but they formed speaking very broken English. This is kinda what they preferred simply because we barely speak Russian (their native language), but they of course learned quickly and speak pretty well now.,

If anything, I expect like a Spanish or Portuguese-speaking headmate who barely knows English if that happens, but even they'd probably quickly learn.

skills for knowing who you are?

i have 3 (or more?) altars that are all very similar. host, host+over active emotions, and host+extremely dull emotions. often i’ll have all the symptoms of a switch: my eyes will flutter, ill dissociate, lose primary control of the body, etc. then i come to and it’s still me. ….or is it? i suspect not.

what skills do you use to help you know who is who?

We want to tell her about our system. The way it helps and hinders us and the struggles we have. We have told her before but it has been quite dismissive. Telling us that we shouldn’t call ourselves specific things to ‘not get it stuck in our head’ or ‘not manifest it’ we’re already here, we’ve already been here for years and we aren’t going away.

Being part of a system helps to keep the body alive and the host as safe as possible. And we all play our part in doing so but no one sees that. They see a faker who wants attention. We kept our system and plurality a secret for how long? Why wouldn’t we tell people earlier if that’s what we we’re looking for. Our view is that even if it turns out not to be real, it’s helping us to get through the day right now, and that’s worth something.

We don’t know how to tell her and we’re worried she’s going to be dismissive again like the other times. The thing is we really need support surrounding being a system. Especially since we have just uncovered possible trauma holders which is scary and I really hope they aren't.

Anyway, we recently came up with a system name. Botanical system! We're traumagenic, and very early into our syscovery.

So far, headmates are

Link(me) He/they/it. Core/host. Im always in front everyone else mostly co-cons except a couple.

🌸Becca, she/her. Mood booster! She's super friendly and social.

🛸Dixon, any pronouns. Pretty chill, but hard to tell when theyre co-con cause their voice is the same as the body's.

🐍Marc, he/they. Gatekeeper, we think. Hes very nice and very British.

🩹Mia/Eri, she/her. A little and introspect of Eri from MHA. Very very shy. Genuinely sat in silence with our partner for the whole time she was co-fronting.

🔴Tilly/Red Guy, he/him. Hunger manager and introspect of Red Guy from DHMIS. He basically just shows up when we're hungry and wont stop telling us to eat until we do.

Those are the main ones coming around, but we're a system of 12, not including myself.
