Like for our Littles he is just a baby and has no piercings/scars (pic is of baby Sock <3)

Our Host (age slider) has some piercings in the left ear and when a teen age he is more lanky teen boy like. (also for a few more alters)

And our Protector has SH scars all over (if we also have a little fronting they turn into the patterns that Rumi has in KPDH) and a semicolon piercing.

I am writing a dark urban fantasy novel trilogy (prob not going to publish, but who knows?) and during the writing one of my characters has turned out clearly plural person, now that I look at their scenes in retrospect. Maybe because I am recovering from a relationship with one who was undiagnosed and it was... hard, to put it mildly. But yeah. I will keep writing them as such, because that's what I went through. No diagnoses on page etc. People who know about it or have it, will recognize the pattern though.

As I write further I'd like to avoid villanizing the whole group, get it right and multifaceted. So, I humbly ask you, what kind of representation of plurality/DID/OSDD etc in fiction you hate/like? What would you like to see/made clear in a character, villain or not?

When we were singlet we could never figure out a design for our persona cuz it would only satisfy so much for each one but now we discovered out plurality IM FREE, I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT WITHOUT THEM TELLING ME THEY DONT LIKE IT AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

We started working on making icons for ourselves because as fun as picrew is, it's impossible to find one that we all liked and we wanted them to look cohesive. This isn't even half of us, but we wanted to share what we had so far!

Coincidentally, 7/9 of our chosen headmates happen to be Transformers fictives, though those of us that handle day to day life have taken up human names and appearances.

Hello! I’m just curious as to how this works, I’m finding it hard to specifically see the difference between Willogenic headmate forming and other Endogenic headmate forming (tulpamancy as example)

I agree with both Clancy and Brother Clancy. We don’t owe these people things about our lives and homes but it does feel a bit wrong to hide every aspect from them. Is there a way we can be a bit more comfortable with showing them things now that they know about us while also keeping a level of seclusion that feels less like keeping things from them just because we can and more like keeping ourselves safe in a world we don’t exactly understand?

I get such vivid phantom limb sensations, and then I suddenly remember that I don't actually have that kind of body and reality comes crashing down on me. Just in my feelings about the fact that I can literally feel my body, yet, when I look down or in the mirror, it's something completely different.

does anyone have any depictions of median systems? can be anything really, about a fictional character, a memoir of a system's experience, whatever.

ive only got one id like to promote, that really my eyes to the space between completely plural and completely multiple. its a my hero academia fanfic called two sides of the same coin by nezomi. in it, midoriya has two very different and solidly defined personalities he switches between, deku and izuku. they both have very different demeanors, outlooks on life, and personalities, but midoriya experiences them as one person with a continuous memory who shifts between different personas.

its pretty long and has to do with stuff other than just the system part (and also maybe a little confusing if you aren't familiar with mha) but ill link you to the chapter where midoriya gets assessed and the chapter where he gets diagnosed where there is discussion on his psyche.

Wondering if anyone else also experiences this, this is somewhat common for us.

Scenario: Couple days ago we were walking through the forest. No idea who exactly was present for it, but I know I was at least around for it. I have a pretty decent memory of it. Now today I think back to this event and the memory is changed. I know so for a fact. This is not how I experienced this event. I still have my original memory, like I still know what happened, but now there's also this other memory of the event that is distinctly not how I experienced it.
