SWIM FOR CANCER is a virtual and community fitness fundraiser. Manually keep track of your progress by recording laps ( in a pool) or join a STRAVA group to easily track your km distance.

How It Works Step-by-Step

• Register: Sign up for the event online ; hosted on regional platforms like the Canadian Cancer Society Fundraiser portal. You can participate solo or as part of a team.
• Set a Goal: Swim 10 km and set your fundraising target.
• Fundraise: Share your personalized fundraising page with friends, family, and coworkers via email or social media. Supporters can easily donate to your campaign online to sponsor your progress.
• Swim & Track: Hit the pool, a lake, or the ocean to complete your laps. Track your distances manually, or link your activity tracker (such as on the STRAVA app) to your fundraising profile.
• Make an Impact: All the money you raise goes directly to help fund cancer research, new clinical trials, and patient support services!!
